My partner took me here as a surprise for my birthday where upon arrival we were told we would get a surprise menu (he contacted them before and did not know about this). We found it very strange that we were not asked about allergies or things we don't eat; something to be expected if you don't have a say at all about the menu. Eg. one of us is vegan and the starter unfortunately contained dairy yoghurt. The wait between every course was very long; after each course we had to wait a minimum of an hour to be served and not once were we asked for refills of drinks. We were one of the first to arrive in the restaurant and towards the end we got our desserts about the same time as people who arrived an hour later than us. The food was good and the host was very friendly, but I don't feel like we got the service expected from a very small and classy place like this.

Not just a dinner, but a one-of-a-kind experience! The geography of the dishes and the variety of spices and ingredients is truly a work of passion and attention to detail. Everything was delicious and plentiful. The four-stage dinner – drinks, starters, mains, desserts – unrolls over the course of three hours and cannot be rushed; toward the end we were quite exhausted.

Ordered 2x surprise vegan three course meal plus cakes for my birthday during lockdown. It was so delicious we were super impressed! Delivery was very expensive but they sent a taxi in good time and both the driver and restaurant made sure I knew it was on the way. They made sure my birthday was extra special and I love the extra touch of having a voice note to describe the food. Possibly the best vegan food I've had in a restaurant as I much prefer fresh vegetable ingredients to 'vegan junk food' and the portions were generous to more than fill us which can sometimes be an issue with fully vegetable-based vegan restaurants.

Descriptions of each dish were given as they were brought. Ingredients have a high quality taste.
