This is by far my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam! I have been many times and the food is always incredibly delicious. The menu is changing according to season. The service is always great and attentive. Super nice atmosphere, all the people I brought here were always super happy. I definitely recommend it!

We found this so nice restaurant thanks to a friend. It's located in a quiet area of Amsterdam. The staff was very kind. Excellent choice and care in the preparation of dishes. An excellent wine list too. One of the best dishes, the truffle arancini. I would recommend anyone to go there

Absolutely loved the experience. Great food, service, atmosphere. The dishes were just an explosion of flavors, everything working so well with each other. Prices were very reasonable for a dining experience so we ll definitely coming back ❤️

I just moved to Amsterdam and I was looking for a gluten-free friendly restaurant. I found The Meets and I wasn't disappointed. The menu is short and simple, but full of delicious options out of which only a couple are with gluten. Definitely recommended even though it is a bit on the pricey side. Great experience also with the staff that was very kind and nice for the entire dinner.

Food is amazing and service is super nice and quick. Black truffel raviolli was my favorite 🤩 As a starter we ordered polenta fries it was very filling and delicious 🤤 Tart with raspberries had intense chocolate taste which I liked so much

If I could give 0 stars I would! I reserved a table for 12 persons and prepaid €120. Unfortunately I needed to cancel the reservation due to the person we were celebrating having her flight cancelled and not being able to come to Amsterdam. I started to call the restaurant at 8:00 in the morning on the day of the reservation with no response. By 14:00 someone finally answered and I asked to please move the reservation, meaning the €120 would be transferred to the new date as well. Instead without informing me, the restaurant only transferred the reservation and kept the money for themselves. I called them to say why they didn't offer for me to come and have dinner instead with just my boyfriend to at least use the money, but they didn't accept that either. There was 0 flexibility or understanding for my situation. I feel this restaurant only thinks about themselves and doesn't seek any solution whatsover to support a situation which was not great for me either. Worst restaurant ever! I will be telling everyone I know to stay away. Don't go here, spend your money elsewhere!

Probably my favorite vegan restaurant in Amsterdam! Every time the food is amazing (both dine in and delivery). Great flavors. One thing for sure is that I can't get enough of that chocolate tart.. The menu changes often and offers seasonal dishes and world-inspired cuisine. The service is friendly, the atmosphere cosy and the interior tastefully decorated.

I couldn't be happier with our choice to dine here. I'm vegan, my partner isn't, and we both raved about the dishes we chose. Arancini and Focaccia Ripiena as starters, Ravioli and Cevice as main course, then Chocolate Mousse and Cheese Platter. The dishes are freshly prepared, everything is tasty and the passion they put in cooking is visible. it was a pleasure to discover a place in Amsterdam where you can eat something different from the usual vegan burger.

A very nice restaurant in a side street of the Java street with friendly staff. The food was very good especially the feijoada, a brazilian stew. Even if you are not vegetarian or vegan but like flavourfull food (like me) I recommend that you visit this place. Little side note: the acoustics in the restaurant are good, something you don't really see/hear in a lot of places in Amsterdam.

I don‘t usually give a review but this place deserves it. The dishes are beyond amazing, everything is so well balanced, the texture, the seasoning, everything is thought through to perfection. Needless to say anything else than… if possible, get a table and enjoy!

Excellent original & healthy food. The meal felt like a real treat: Filling but not too heavy. The warm interior & cozy atmosphere made us enjoy the meals all the more.

Inventive food, kind staff great ambiance. This isn’t just another “vegan spot” - it’s a delicious dining experience. We had the “beef wellington”, aubergine and jack fruit salad followed by a chocolate mousse. All excellent. Highly recommend for lovers of vegetables and anyone seeking a tasty dinner with new flavours.

Went there tonight with my mom travelling through Europe, she’s such a picky eater and didn’t have one bad word to say. We both had one of the best meals of our lives. We ordered the Chefs menu (four courses) and it was so well balanced. We honestly couldn’t get enough. Our host was absolutely delightful and so accommodating. Also the chefs were visible to the dining room and it was so cool to watch them work together, like they were so in sync it was amazing. I’m pretty sure the head chef delivered a course and was super passionate about the food, you can see he cares a lot about his diners also. Food is so powerful and when people take care of it, and let the ingredients shine without being pretentious - you can feel love in every bite. Basically couldn’t have had a better experience. Also, everything was plant based, which is also super important to me.

We ordered the assorted platter, a combination of 4 meals. All very different spice palates, but all very complete in taste and preparation. I am very impressed with their chef. Will be going back for sure. A great find for vegan and plant based dining.

Amazing food, great service. Really highly recommend going here. I went two nights in a row and so happy to try almost everything on the menu. Good cocktails too! A warm bath for vegans but equally good for omnivores looking for great and honest food in Amsterdam. Love this place and will be back.

We want to the meets for a celebratory dinner and had a lot of fun. The interior design is nice and inviting, we took the regular restaurant tables but there are also couches that might be more comfortable for a hours setting. The food overall was great, although a bit small and expensive for the size, there was nothing that really made us say WOW but we both thought everything was tasty and would definitely come back to try the dishes we didn’t eat. One thing I would improve on - bring more bread with the cheese platter, the max & bien cheeses are great but having little to no bread with them felt sad. We ordered the Chef’s menu, 4 dishes chosen by the chef. For us it was the: 1. Tomato and chickpeas soup - which was ok tasting, not really special and we would’ve like the chickpeas to be a little more soft. 2. Cauliflower entree - that once was better, the cauliflower was very tasty and above it there were some potato pieces and a piece of fresh truffle. The sauce was great and everything combined tasted and felt good, I didn’t really feel like the truffle made an impact but my partner thought it did. 3. Meets Wellington main - their take on a beef Wellington was super tasty and looked amazing, the pastry was flaky in a good way and the meat inside was nice. The sauce was good, the potatoes were great and the mushrooms were the BEST. 4. Chocolate mousse with berries and peanut brittle dessert - I loved it, the mousse was really firm compared to other plant based mousses I’ve eaten and the peanut brittle was super tasty. We also ordered the focaccia that was very tasty and garlicky and the fried oyster mushrooms which were SUPER tasty and the best value for money in my opinion. I would’ve liked to have them with some lime on them but that’s ok.

It's good that we get more vegan food in the world. The scenery is nice, and the food looks really pretty when served. I loved the assorted cheeses, but I think the gluten free is a bit too much for me. The ravioli was missing "it". But, still worth trying, and maybe different dishes next time. Try it out for yourself.

Delicious vegan food. Lovely staff. Cozy interior. They also offer meet or fish supplements for customers who can't live without it. Great solution to help vegans and flexitarians to convince their carnivore friends to dine here. And to gently introduce them to the tasty flavors of vegan cuisine. What a great place!

We had a very nice dinner that also tasted great for the non-vegan participants. Only minor letdown was the size of the portions. We came in very hungry after a long day of traveling and everyone could have eaten a second portion. I'll still highly recommend visiting, but if you're very hungry, better order two main dishes if you can afford it. Due to the great taste and nice staff, I'm still giving 5 stars. Also rather big selection of beers (also pricy, but good)

My favorite vegan place in Amsterdam and one of my favorite restaurants I have ever been. The owner and working staff incredibly nice and the atmosphere is beautiful. Most importantly, their dishes are soooo delicious. The way the restaurant combines ingredients and flavors is outstanding and every time we come we have a mind-blowing experience.

Incredible! Gluten-free pizza was awesome! Beetroot burger wonderful! Ravioli: superb! Vegan chocolate mouse: so yummy. And the pickles on the burger were the best we have found outside of Brooklyn NY: not sweet- just perfect.

Wow! We had the best vegan food experience since a long time in this beautiful place. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They served us a welcome-greeting from the kitchen which was very delicious! Also they added one more dumpling to our starter so we could share it better as we were two persons. The main dish was also very tasty and the ingredients were very good and delicious. We had the Pizza made of chickpea flour and dried tomatoes and a vegetable burger with sweet potato fries. No comparison to other burgers and fries we already had. They try to use as many organic ingredients as possible. The price is definitely worth it and the experience we had was a very nice one. Thanks for the great food and service! We would definitely come back again!

Great vibe. Delicious food. Friendly service - even the owner stops by the table to check in on you! I love finding vegan plant based restaurants where you can order anything off the menu! Especially loved the cheese platter and the chocolate raspberry dessert. Plus I got to try orange wine for the first time!

I've been here twice and both times I ate the best food I ever tasted. All kinds of international flavours, such wonderful combinations and what a delicious taste to them all. Even if you're not vegan - this is the place to be.
