Super pleased we came here and tried authentic Afghan food for the first time. It is a magical blend of central Asian cuisines with balanced spices, delicious yogurt sauces and chutneys, and even dumplings! The family who run this restaurant take great care and pride in the food they serve making everything from scratch (even the roti and naan breads). And they are super warm, welcoming, and engaging with their customers. Definitely come and try their sambosas with carrot chutney and make sure to order one of their dumpling dishes. You won't regret it! We will be back again with a group so we can try even more dishes.

I ate the grilled lamb plate on my first visit and it was delicious. I recommend requesting a side of coriander chutney to add a bit of spice and flavor to your meal if you prefer more flavor. Also, the service is great! I highly recommend this restaurant, especially if you are looking for halal meat options.

Nooristan is a cozy and beautifully decorated Halal Afghan restaurant run by a dedicated family. Real authentic Afghan dishes, and very tasteful. The deserts are delicious. Great service. Impressive wall paintings from a famous Afghan artist. Highly recommended.

A restaurant beyond imagination in its calm atmosphere and beautiful music, and the taste of hope is fantastic and delicious in a way that you feel that it is cooked with love. Authentic and professional Afghan food. It is the Afghan Nuristani family that does all this. I will visit again, of course.special Narges .

Excellent dining experience. The food stays true to its origin authentic taste. The ladies running the place take their take time to explain the cuisine, nd you can see they take great pride in their food and culture. Having lived in the Middle East, I truly appreciate the taste, the herbs and spices used and the warmth this place exudes. Our favourite place for a great evening out.

I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal here, I had a Borani met aubergine, with a couple of beers. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want a romantic night out.

Fantastic Afghani restaurant! The Quabuli Polo was great (was almost enough for 2 people). The Sambusa was great as well. Highly recommend this place😊. Be sure to call ahead to reserve a table. Blessings upon this restaurant!πŸ₯°

Tried vegetarian food. Ambience is really very authentic and nice. Service was OK! For starters, we were not served any plate, may be because it was busy and they forgot. Starters also very tasty. We ordered Sambosa. However, I found the main dish very blunt. May be for international standard its good.My personal feeling is not that great. Lastly, for the quality/quantity and taste of food, found it a little expensive. Firni in dessert, tasted more like some english pudding!sorry but my personal opinion.

Our first Afghan experience. My husband and i are Canadian. Its was a excellente experience. Quality, home made meal. We shared the meat and rice platter (Rijstaffel) for two. Just amazing taste. C’était tellement bon. We will go back. And the price his absolutely fair.

I went for dinner with my colleagues. I had the Pakora and the main dish with okra (lady's finger) vegetable. The place was cozy and nicely decorated. Pakora was tasty but a bit bland (I didn't taste spices) . The okra curry was delicious. I especially like the afgani pudding πŸ˜‹, it had a nice cardamome taste. The hospitality was okay. I had asked for tap water in the end. The lady said they does not normally serve it, in a condescending way (at least that's how I felt her comment).

A pearl in the middle of Hoofddorp and a very pleasant surprise. We were very friendly served and advised on the for us new type of food. We took there Mantoe as wonderful appetizer and as main course took the delicious Patnoese Maza (Rijsttafel) for 2 people. I came with a friend and will certainly also return with my wife. It is a cosy and very clean restaurant with a clear hospitality

Locals are very lucky to have this place. The lady was kind and attentive. The food was so delicious that I was sad to leave Amsterdam the next day. The place is decorated very well with the Afghan decor and it is very authentic.
