Miss G’s Brunch Boat

Tourist attraction Breakfast restaurant Brunch restaurant

😐 Great concept, good food and friendly service, but overpriced for what you get. A bottomless brunch for 64,50 serves watery Bloody Mary’s and sweet Prosecco. In my opinion not really value for money. People often mention boat, brunch, good, staff, experience, drinks, great, friendly, time, trip,

Its not closed but it should be. This was my 4th time on the brunch boat and it will be my last. Everything I previously enjoyed about the boat is gone... including the boat which now has no atmosphere and plastic folding chairs. Bloody Mary's went from flavorful and boozy to basically tomato juice with Tabasco. The menu has shrunk considerably over time. The waffles were rock hard. Basically crumbling when attempting to cut them. The brunch dip appetizer we ordered with drinks arrived after the meal. The waitress also attempted to charge us for our meals twice after I already paid for them online plus 12€ in fees.

The boat seemed to be renovated from the pictures I’ve seen previously! Staff is friendly, food is good (more than expected) and atmosphere pleasant. A bit pricey but it’s worth it! Will do it again when I get some family/friends visiting me in Amsterdam.

Our trip was cancelled with a short notice which ruined our Sunday plans. I am still waiting to receive my refund. My suggestion is to stay away if you are planning a signifficant event on this boat (like birthday, anniversary, etc.) as this company definitely has reliability issues.

We boarded late, wasn't served our first drink until 1:25. They are very slow at serving food and drinks. Paid €65 and got just a burger. No chips or side salad even with it. 20 minutes before our cruise ended they told us the bar was closed. So between closing early and boarding late they took 45 minutes off us from the bar. The last round of mimosas they served was just water and juice. When I said it to the staff other groups on tables voiced their opinions that it was also water and the staff panicked and gave us prosecco then. Then quarter to 2 the captain walked down the boat shouting its over get off and rushed everyone off the boat. Absolute rip off wouldn't waste your money.

The boat tour was a lovely way to while a way 1.5h on a rainy Sunday morning. We all did the bottomless brunch and the drinks were nicely flowing, that was good. The staff were very nice and the atmosphere overall was a good one. I would say that for the price you don't really get much food, it would have been nice to be able to order some of the apps that are on the G's brick and morter spot's menu. We had to say in advance what main we wanted so I think it could be arranged the same for the apps (even if you need to pay extra). The boat can get a bit loud if it's full, which was fine for us but may be a deterrent for some other groups.

Highly recommended experience. Loved the boat ride while having brunch. Brunch is a bit on the light side. It’s more of a regular breakfast with bloody Marys. Rain or shine. Not to be missed!

Great experience in Amsterdam. Brunch in a stylish boat, touring through the city. Food is good, but no gourmet quality. Service is fast and friendly. Drinks are tasty and refreshing. The toilet is clean and well equipped for such a boat. Only the music was a bit disturbing for that occasion (black rap music in the morning). Good value for money!

Good value for your money if you consider it's a canal boat trip + brunch + drinks in one. Food wasn't that great: waffles were dry. Dessert was a piece of waffle again; so could definitely improve on the food front. But the boat experience was great!

We loved G's boat brunch. It's such a good value; delicious breakfast, a Bloody Mary, a coffee AND a boat ride = Amazing! Also the staff (and of course, George) are so sweet and accommodating!

We had a great time on this trip. The food was nice and there was plenty of choice. The grinks were good too and the team were very generous with the bottomless top ups. I will definintely be doing this again next time I'm over.

Fantastic brunch on the canals. The food was very good, highly recommend the chicken sandwich and the bacon Benedict, the service was excellent, very friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and so fun. Don’t believe any negative reviews, this is perfect and we will definitely do it again. Book it. Best brunch in Amsterdam.

A lovely boat trip. It was so nice to be able to do a trip like this with gluten free options. The team on the boat were lovely. We pre ordered food as I am gluten free and sadly my meal was cold but I ate it anyway as I was super hungry! This is probably because they needed to make it separate, I didn’t complain because I’m grateful they catered to me at all. The pace of the boat tour was great and it was really nice being able to have brunch on the go. I would recommend.

Cute cruise! 1.5 hours feels so short because it’s a great time. Went on this brunch cruise with my 9 year old son, and we both enjoyed. Definitely would do again with a group of adults as well; as all the other adults onboard doing the bottomless seemed to be having a blast as well. Food was surprisingly better than expected ☺️

We booked for 2 of the girls 40th’s!! It was class! Service was fantastic! Never an empty glass in sight! The staff were amazing, food was great, I am still amazed at how they made the food in such a small space!! Would 100% recommend!

Really impressive set up and a great way to see the city. Brunch was great, staff were super friendly and efficient and drinks were 👌🏻 a must do on your next trip to Amsterdam

Booked this via the website after reading reviews on both Google and trip advisor I was slightly skeptical as most recent reviews were a bit hit and miss, but really glad I did! Paid for bottomless brunch (unlimited drinks and a meal) my food was amazing, the drinks weren’t as fast flowing as I would have liked but I drink like a fish! And if I asked the staff happily brought me another/topped me up. The boat was lovely, the cover was on because it wasn’t quite warm enough to have off once we got going but we got to sit on the small deck up front to enjoy the sunshine and move around the boat. The staff were second to none and all so friendly! It was a very chilled out and enjoyable trip. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience in Amsterdam! It’s a lovely way to combine a canal tour with brunch - well done!

  • 4/5 Carla S. 1 year ago on Google
The food and service was really good and drinks (we took bottomless) really generous. The cruise just felt over very quickly, and a lot of the scenery went a little unnoticed while we ate. Quite a novel idea, to brunch on a boat.

Enjoyed the bottomless brunch on Miss Gs Brunch Boat. The food and drinks both were good. The music was a little loud and the boat toured around the canals but it was not an informative tour, if that’s what you’re going for. Nonetheless was enjoyable and would do it again

Other then the kind staff everything else was not worth the money. The food took forever to arrive and might as well not arrive at all because it was really bad, worst waffles I ever ate (how can it be dry and rubbery at the same time?) The boat was not inviting at all, folding chairs looked like a last minute arrangement. And you can really enjoy the view because you are sitting very low in the boat Big pass!

We had such a lovely time. A warm and safe welcome onboard. You can tell the team are well experienced with hosting guests and really did deliver a service with a smile. The food was simple, fresh and delicious. Would certainly recommend it and could have easily spent more time on board. Thank you to the team for hosting us and making us feel special. Ps the times were pretty good too ;)

Breakfast food was wonderful, service was friendly and attentive, and the length of cruise was perfect. Only downers were that drinks were not cold and the music was rap for 10 in the morning. Would’ve loved something more chill on both fronts. However not a deal breaker so will recommend for future travelers!

It was a great experience! Really well organized - food was good, departure and arrival on time, the drink included in the regular brunch menu well poured. The staff was very nice and the captain even let me drive the boat for a little bit. For it to be ah-mazing: tables to be higher for a better view (one of them was a bar-high table with stools, why not all of them?) and all the windows to open as we almost fainted from the heat. But that heat never happens in AMS so that's not on them. Note: no tap water available on the boat (duh) so bring your water bottle to be more sustainable!

Food was superb and the experience of eating brunch on a boat while strolling the canals of Amsterdam is unforgettable. The music (hope and old school rap) is awesome and the decor was super fun. The drinks were a bit economical for my liking, but given that it's on a boat, it's understandable.

I had a question but could not get in touch over the phone and email took long to reply, so the only way to get a quick answer is to visit the restaurant. Boat got cancelled shortly before, good communication about that tho and got a full refund.

The experience at G's Brunch Boat was fun! The boat was really beautiful and the service was impeccable. Our waiter was very attentive making sure we all had drinks at all times and the food arrived very quickly. My meal option was delicious (the Buffalo Soldier), however my partner's dish (Vegetarian Eggs Benny) was simply ok (his review is that it was missing something). If you're looking for a different type of brunch experience in Amsterdam, involving sightseeing, I strongly recommend G's Brunch Boat.

  • 2/5 Tim de L. 1 year ago on Google
I thought the experience was overpriced. €46 for one dish without a side and one drink served by staff blasting Drake and late 00' hip-hop is too much, even if it is on a boat. Even having an additional complimentary tea or coffee, or a member of staff giving a "welcome to the brunch boat..." talk would go a long way to improve an experience that, to me and my partner, currently feels like a tourist ripoff.

Great experience sailing across the Ams canals while enjoying a lovely brunch! You can pick a dish from the menu and order any drinks you like during the 90 mins it lasts. We enjoyed a sunny day so it was beautiful

Cool brunch cruise. They keep it flowing well and are very friendly. It's a great way to see the city from a boat. I was impressed with how much food they make in a small kitchen. Well done!

This is an amazing option for a romantic date or an outing with friends. The boat takes you through the most beautiful canals of Amsterdam and then into the IJ river and back. Delicious food and drinks, great music and excellent service. I would definitely do it again!

This was so much fun. Great food, atmosphere and experience. The views of the canals are so amazing. These are some of the views from the boat

We signed up for 5 people very late, 1 hour before, and they still were able to accommodate us very well! Even though they were out of avocados, they were kind enough to offer a free dessert to us even though we weren’t upset at all. Very awesome experience and the food was just as good!

Very good atmosphere and such a pleasure to brunch along the canals. The staff is very attentive and won't leave your glass empty (and we tried hard!) unless you ask them of course.
