I was passing through Amsterdam on my way back from Sweden and decided to stay at this campsite to relax for a couple of days, unfortunately quite the opposite happened. The main problem is that in the men's changing rooms the water from the shower was only cold and, moreover, the heating didn't work inside, and no manager of the facility has ever bothered to solve this very serious problem, taking a shower below zero it was a good experience unfortunately. Another problem was the heating inside the small accommodation, either it went to the maximum or you had to turn it off completely, the absence of a thermostat to better regulate the temperature was quite ridiculous. I conclude by saying that it was a traumatic experience and far from relaxing, think about it very well before going there, thanks for your attention.

Very nice place for family. A perfect getaway for weekends. Cabin is really nice and cozy with clean bathroom. You can also rent bike at this place if you want. I would highly recommend this place. Edit: The clean linen/towels will only be provided once, even if you have longer stay booked at the hotel.

It depends on what you re looking for. Too far from the centre but too close to schipol airport. Natural place wooden tiny houses. Minimalist. Toilet bathroom laundry are clean. There is a electric heater in the room and it is enough. You can rent bike inside the area.

Overall quite happy with my stay in a cabin at this park, especially for the price! To elaborate more, I spent 5 nights here with my partner and a friend of ours. The cabin was fairly tidy, some marks and dirt on the floor but nothing too horrible. The cabin was quite spacious plus you get access to a full kitchen inside. Unfortunately for us our hot water stopped working meaning we were forced to use the communal showers but we were reimbursed for this so I'm not upset about it. The WiFi was fine for all 3 of us, we had no issues the entire time. The park is a fair way out of Amsterdam but the bike hire makes it easy to get around without public transport if need be. The customer service here was the gold star, everyone we spoke to who was working at the park was extremely friendly and happy to help out wherever possible. Overall I'm happy with my stay and would definitely come back here should I visit Amsterdam again in the future, plus the price was very affordable for what you get!

It is a really small house and not very clean. There is nothing in the shower to hang a towel or clothes on, very inconvenient. The bunk beds are comfortable. The mirror hangs so high that only people taller than 1.85 m can see their reflection in it. We only had a pot and no frying pan. We asked at the reception and they brought us two new pans very quickly. WiFi is terrible. But the location is nice. There are lake, forest, cycling and walking paths. A lot of rabbits, birds and even Scottish Highlanders (bulls) nearby.

A below average campsite. The shower facilities, particularly the ladies, were in need of updating. The facilities are closed between 8-9am for "cleaning", which leaves 4 bathrooms for the whole campsite. The noise of the airport can't be avoided, and there are plenty late night flights that are loud. Check in was, however, easy and the pitches were well maintained.

Great place, staff were super helpful with everything, check in process was easy and nice facilities. When we arrived the place was very filthy, stains everywhere, spiders all under the bed and covering the bunk beds, alongside massive amounts of dust. Had to request for it to be cleaned. Other than that everything was great!

I was fantastic! We stayed in one of the small cabins, and It was exactly as described. The cabin has two tables with chairs and the bunk beds. It had two plugs, but one of them was being used by the heater.

Great place, peaceful in the forest and with water all around. Service desk closes at 6pm a bit early if you ask me. Bike rental at the information. 45 min. Bike ride to downtown Amsterdam in a slow pace. Really a great place with bike lanes everywhere

Clean and organized place. We rented a kitnet that was joint with another in the same building. Luckily the neighbors were silent. Otherwise it would have been a bad experience (as we could hear almost everything they did/said). Location far from the center (from 2 to 3 buses). For those who want to visit Amsterdam in the center, I suggest you to rent a place closer and spend the Bus money on parking for the vehicle.

Camping = outdoor, coin for a shower, own sleeping bag or small fee for bed lining. Arrived in summer, more than what I was expecting from a camp side.. Had no dealing with staff, cabin was small but had everything as advertised, we took the table and chairs outside just like everyone else and enjoyed our stay very much. People come back from town late at night but the camp gets quiet eventually and stays quiet morning. There are rabbits everywhere so cute, lots of people from around the globe, nice feeling and chilling place. Showers, toilets ok.

Great resort one hour away from Amsterdam by public transport. Booked in advance, the place offers a large variety of rooms, from basic to luxury. It has a mini market within the park, showers, washing and drying machines. All you need for a quick business trip. Great view, near the forest, you can spend some free time walking in the nearby forest. There are also restaurants within walking distance. Online check in. Nice friendly staff. Overall, a great experience.

Loved the place, stayed here for 4 nights in a Eco Cabin for 4 people. The camping was quite full but there was still a nice vibe, very relaxing, lots of rabbits around, beautiful surroundings. Toilets and showers were very clean for the amount of people that was staying for weekend. We did not have any problems with the owner or any member of the staff. It is true that they did not look very friendly but they did not treat us bad in any moment. Cabin was quite good, comfortable mattresses, we brought with us some bug bed spray becase we knew where we were going and we did not have any problems. There was some spiders but that’s something normal when you sleeping in the nature. Cons: Prices on the shop are extremely espensive, but there are some supermarkets like 20-30 min walk or 10-15 min on bike. It would be nice if they add a small fridge inside the cabin. It is a bit far from central. Overall we really enjoy our time there and we would not mind staying there again.

The Concept of the Camp Site is great with many different types of small houses. We had a house with an own Toilette and 4 Beds. There was everything you need for cooking which was great. Inside it was a little bit dark, but we hat good weather and had breakfast on our own small furnished patio. The only thing is, that it could have been cleaner. And the showers too. They should check more often if the showers need to be cleaned. You need one hour to Amsterdam City, which is totally fine. To Schiphol Airport it is just half an hour. The price is fair. Especially compared to Airbnb or a Hotel in Amsterdam.

The local on-site shop may be a tad expensive, yet the staff members provide satisfactory service. However, the site itself boasts breathtaking beauty and offers precisely the amenities one requires. Additionally, the convenience of the 199 bus route ensures a seamless journey to the airport, facilitating easy access to the heart of Amsterdam.

Stayed in Brekel 7 with six other guys, comfy but a little bit crowded. Very affordable though. The staff were flexible with check-in/out times and helpful. The location is pretty but far from Amsterdam center. However public transport works smoothly as you can easily get to the city in about 45 minutes.

We booked a comfort connecting room, which was pretty luxurious for the size it is (about 4mx4m). The only "complaint" we had with the room is that it is pretty noisy. Our neighbors were not the quietest people, so we could hear every step they took and every word they said. At night, the people living in the room next to our room went outside to have a talk, laugh, and eat until 3:00AM. Because of this, we had multiple disrupted nights. If you book these rooms, please be aware of them being noisy.

We camped there. Pitches big but hard, toilets and showers clean and in april comfortably warm. Prices normal. If you go to the center by bus you must change. Recomand it.

Excellent site. The forest is a beautiful place. The park is at the southern edge. We came in a camper van in May and had a place at the water side. Facilities, upkeep, staff, access to the forest - all first class. I can’t comment on their various cabins and chalets but the very negative reviews from years back seem not remotely relevant. It would have been five stars except for the proximity to the roads and the airport. I prefer my forest more quiet not that it was too bothersome to sleep just like a constant rumble of distant thunder. The Wi-Fi was only just adequate. Wheeled transport is an essential. Would come again if there was something I wanted to do here.

We went there for 3 nights and we had a good time there. If you except to face with 5 star hotel rooms, so please don't go there, its not a hotel, but if you want to be in somewhere quiet and clean in the nature near Amsterdam with reasonable price, then go there. There are some rooms which have private bathroom and kitchen but we booked for shared bathroom room ones, and found its bathrooms new and clean. With public transport you can reach easily to city centre. It has camp site for camper-vans, and there is parking lots as well.

Cool place for a budget stay , 24 hour access through the gate in case you have a car is convinient, not enough bikes for the territory so you can't always get them if there is a lot of people. Small shop on the territory is equipped with everything that's not provided by the host (shower things, dish washing things and other things). Bread was rumoured to come first thing in the morning but never was there earlier than 11. Extra payment for bedsheets at check in was a lil sudden for us but considering relatively cheap accommodation we didn't take offense. Staff that's cleaning rooms seemed a lot more welcoming than actual people at the reception but no signs of rudeness or anything unpleasant. In general it's a dope silent place perfect to get away from crowds.

I would give 5 stars for everything except for: No hand wash was available in our accommodation, we complained about that and we were told we have to buy it. We were not given a car pass to park our car outside our accommodation. We argued and they had to give us one. The toilet doesn't have a sink, window or ventilation. We had to use the kitchen sink for everything.

Excellent stay near to Amsterdam. We'll organised, spacious places and within travelling distance to the city. Nice location at the edge of the forest. Clean and sufficient sanitair. One of the better city campsites I have stayed on

Nice place directly at the water and not far away from Amstelveen city center. You drive with the bus or take an Uber for 10 bugs! πŸ‘πŸ½ Ones star less, cos many of our friends couldn't book a tiny house for one or two nights. It's only possible from 3 nights or so. There was a concert in P60 and so all the people were in a Hotel. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ To my mind not the best decision in this time of the year! πŸ˜‰ (October)

We had a satisfying stay. The nature is quite nice and youβ€˜ve got everything you need but the toilet was smelling and it was not very clean. The shower drainage was not working properly.

Hello Travelers, we're a couple who love to travel. We're not looking for any fancy places to stay but there are some points every accomodation should have, like cleanliness and friendliness. We booked an eco lodge and stayed over the weekend there. At first, we were a bit suspicious due to the bad reviews but we wanted to make our own experience. The price is quite affordable compared to the accomodations close to the city center but you need to keep in mind that you need an extra ticket to reach this place. It takes around 25 minutes on foot to the bus station which is covered by GVB Day Ticket (there's a bus station nearby but it's not for GVB). There were no toilet papers and it costs extra 1€ for the shower use, and bed sheets or heater for around 7,5€. What surprised us the most is the kitchen! We hoped that at least there was a pan or some cooking utilities we can use but the building was very dirty and we were directly greeted by the mice (looked like an abandoned place). The staff who came to our room was friendly and we really liked the room we book but perhaps this accomodation needs more care and maintain. We were pretty sure that with a bit more effort, this place would be must visited accomodation around Amsterdam!

Absolutely gorgeous and very affordable place to stay. Its not very far from bus or train services, although the bus journey to and from the centre of Amsterdam take a little working out. The shop has a good selection of products, the bathrooms are well maintained (shower shoes are still recommended!). Be aware that this place is quite outdoorsy, but I personally enjoyed having rabbits hopping around just feet from the cabin. Inside the cabins it can get quite warm in the summer, but they are otherwise fitted with sturdy bunk beds, WiFi, plug sockets (I would recommend bringing an extension lead if you have several devices to charge). The atmosphere is relaxed, the scenery is gorgeous, and I'd absolutely consider staying here again!

Stayed in the waterlodges and really enjoyed it, they are right on the lake and made a perfect spot. The campsite shop was closed so shop before you as there was nothing at all. Owner seemed pleasant, was really worried with the other reviews, but it was absolutely fine. Not much to do for children at all, no park or anything to speak of but the forest is right next door to explore. Overall I really enjoyed it here, just make sure to clean up at night if eating outside or the local wildlife will be all over it

Great camping place inside the city! Sleeping cabins were clean and modern with all the necessary amenities. I highly recommend this place!

We're staying at this campground while in between homes (in our camper, not in any of the new accommodations). Last year when we first came to check the place out, it was all old and dated, but we were told that things would change, and they did. We've been staying here now for 4 weeks and so much work has been done. New safari tents have been placed, new camping store, new kids soccer field, almost everything got an upgrade. Don't be mistaken by the older reviews, because that was when it was from a different owner. Yes there can be airport noise, but only when a certain runway is in use and that's not often the case. There is more 'noise' from the birds than there is from the planes. ;-) The facilities are clean and well maintained. The location is great for cycling/running/walking and birdwatching. In Aalsmeer there are lakes where you can rent boats. The old centre of Amstelveen with some nice restaurants and bars are just a 10 min cycle ride away. If you don't own a bike you can rent one here. Also there are a few microbreweries within cycle distance. The staff are friendly and helpful too. So if we move away from Amsterdam this will be our place we come back to when visiting friends or family.
