Had the best hummus bowl and falafel ever!!! Was blown away by the great taste of every bite, as they said on the wall everything is prepared with love and that you can most definitely taste. The staff were so nice, friendly and accommodating. Really cosy place and will most definitely return for more yummy goodness!!

Brilliant hummus! Authentic flavours and fresh as F food. The family that runs is amazingly sweet and this place is more than what meets the eye. Do try everything on the menu!

Amazing food!! Great service, hummus, pita, almost everything really! Mint lemonade probably wasn't my favorite, but everything else was great. Falafel was green, not quite sure what was in it, but was still very good. Chicken on the hummus was very good!! Price is pretty decent as well; maybe 10-15 euros a person? Highly recommend.

Perfect taste, big portions for a reasonable price. Absolutely worth to come here for a quick takeout or sit at the small but lovely tables. ...and the secret spicy sauce! 🥰

It has a silky texture, which is nice, but the acidity is very low. A strong sauce is needed to increase the acidity.

Excellent food and service. By far some of the best value you can get in Amsterdam. I absolutely love their wraps and probably had north of 200 Hummus bowls from Sir Hummus. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a quick, quality lunch or need a throwback to your Israel holiday!

Found this place accidentally and decided to give it a try! Well, it was worth it! The plates came in different sizes, the hummus was prepared fresh and the taste was very good, especially the pita!

Delicious food and incredibly kind staff. I ordered the standard size hummus bowl with chicken. It came with some Israeli salad, 2 fresh pitas and pickles & green olives. There portion size is perfect, the bowl can even be shared if you aren’t too hungry. There is great seating both indoors and outdoors. Highly recommend!

delicious food and big portions. the menu is small and simple but you can customise the items how you like. it's a nice, comfortable and cosy place. the service was really lovely and genuine, they helped us pick the food. definitely recommend and would come again on another Amsterdam visit.

We came to this place right before the closing time when were craving for a good falafel and hummus. This place really delivered and met our expectations from a good hummus and a good falafel. I’d like a little bit more generously seasoned hummus and more pickles as a side. I loved their falafels and my guest loved their falafel wrap. We will go back and recommend. Hummus and falafel are the cheapest options in Middle East for a tasty meal. I was expecting a lower price for that reason. 4/5 stars for pricing.

Definitely recommend to all my plant based fellas visiting/living in Amsterdam 😍 Great service, cozy place and delicious food - I had the shawarma bowl with falafels, the texture of he hummus was creamy, the sauces were just as spicy as needed, the pita was warm and fluffy & the aubergine was yummy crunchy with creamy chickpeas 🫠 nice people, good portion sizes, good vegan/vegetarian options & quick service. i was really hungry and this place gave me exactly what i needed! helpful and sweet staff (they were all dressed in different halloween costumes) and then a amazing wrap with the magical egg. all the other dishes i saw looked also incredible - don’t miss it on your trip to amsterdam :))

Came here after seeing the positive reviews. Can only confirm that it is a really awesome place. Taste-wise and portion-wise very good! The staff is very nice. The interior is chilled and not too big, I would wish for more comfortable chairs. Expect some waiting time and enjoy. Paid 18€ for a chicken wrap, extra falafel and extra hummus. Was worth it. Will definitely come back.😋

The falafel is quite good. It's fried perfectly, with a crispy shell and a fresh filling. The hummus is a little flat (for the lack of a better word), and it would be great if the pita that comes with the Falafel Meal would be toasted a little to make it warm. Friendly service. Overall a nice lunch experience with a table outside in the sun.

The food was delicious. The hummus was very creamy and perfect in taste. I also liked that they decorated it nicely. The falafel was also very rarely. We both took a regular portion, euch was more than enough. The prices were okay for the amount that we got. We definitely recommend this place. I will come back whenever I fancy delicious hummus.

The meals here are really delicious. There is one version with Aubergine which tastes really good. Hummus is pretty light and it's easy to finish a bowl by yourself without having a side dish. Once in a while it's good to have it, but not every day (for me at least). If you doubt about the sizes, I think for an average eater regular size should be enough.

Simply awesome. Hummus was super smooth and delicious. Falafel and other toppings were also excellent, as was the pita. The regular sized portion was already enough to fill me up to the brim! Highly recommended!

Fabulous food at great prices. Even for a meat eater, the vegan and vegetarian options are incredible - so much so that I don’t bother with the meat! Delicious, super cozy and friendly staff.

This is the best hummus I've ever had. Perfect creamy texture. The pita bread is delightfully delicious too. It has a pillowy soft texture that goes great with the hummus.

Best place to buy real homemade hummus and the best tahin! AL Arz Tahini, the best tahin to prepare a real homemade hummus. Also according Jigal Krant and Yotam Ottolenghi. Also they have some other lovely food to combine with hummus.

If you're a fan of hummus, and you want to taste it homemade, this is the place for you. This hummus was as creamy as a heavily neonatal cow who after 3 days of begging to be milked, finally got relief from a kind farmer. Except in this scenario, I am the cow, the farmer is the staff at Sir Hummus, and being milked is being fed hummus. Round the decay of that colossal wreck that was my plate, boundless and bare, the lone and level crumbs that I had leftover kissed my heart goodbye as I left Sir Hummus, the greatest knight I have ever met, the only knight I shall ever love.

Good humus. I get a medium size bowl and was full. Maybe the fact that there were no unlimited amount of pitta is a bit of a bummer and also no alcohol :( But hey you go there for the taste of the food and the service was also very kind so overall a great experience

Everytime when we are in the Netherlands, we always try to drop by Sir Hummus as their Hummus is just fantastic. Went there last friday and again it was delicious. Go in the evening as the place wasn't crowded at all unlike lunch time when it is often packed.

A great hummus place in De Pjip. Staff is super friendly, good service and most importantly great food. Try the hummus original and the vegan option (with spicy aubergine). Recommended.
