    My mother had an appointment with Dr. Altenburg. What a rude and ill-mannered doctor! The appointment was at 3:00 PM, we weren't called until around 3:50 PM. The gentleman immediately walks away after shouting, we had to find which room he walked into. The people in the waiting room had to tell us where he is. Once inside, my mother sits down and remains standing. I start to explain what the complaints are, he cuts me off every time I speak. I also don't get answers to the questions. My mother (the patient) was not given the opportunity to ask questions or to understand what was being discussed. We weren't even inside for 5 minutes and the gentleman shows us the door with I don't have a miracle cure for you!!! And he repeats that several times. Finally he prescribes an antibiotic ointment, gets up and opens the door so we could get out. Unbelievable!!

    Despite several appointments, separated by months of waiting, where I never met the same doctor twice, and mostly assistants who wondered why the previous colleague forgot to take some other measurement, I ended up with a prescription for very, very expensive glasses. Now that I got them it’s horrible: still cannot see clearly, nor read, with headaches. Update: I’ve been trying since 2 weeks to obtain my medical file but they seem to have sent it to the wrong physical address. It’s impossible to call without waiting at least 20 minutes on the line.     First appointment was good, today my check-up appointment after antibiotic treatment, among other things... that didn't make sense!! No idea why I was there because within 10 minutes I was outside again, got a load of liquid in my eyes (while I already have problems) was too much and I couldn't stop blinking.     I came here to get surgery for a drooping eyelid, and despite it being a very delicate procedure, I was very happy with the results and no longer have issues with my eyelids. On top of that, everyone was extremely friendly, helpful, and informative. Cannot emphasise enough just how super NICE everyone was.     That was probably one of the worst patient-doctor interactions I’ve ever had. It all started with a fact that the doctor was 1h late, and they didn’t even acknowledge this fact, by for example simply saying “sorry”. But it only got worse after that. They sanitized their hands (with a more liquid than creamy sanitizer), but decided not to wait until the hands were dry, started checking my eyes. Holy moly, I didn’t know how stingy drops ( luckily it was a very tiny amount but yet) of sanitizing liquid can get if they make it to one’s eye and how much the smell can sting one’s nose. Then of course, we had some disagreement with the doctor about the treatment. But that happens, so no issues with that. To sum up, I can imagine the doctor was most likely in a rush for the next patient, but why should it be at my expense? P.S. the nurses and the receptionist were very helpful and friendly.

Once that was done I had to make a new apt for removal and again a 1.5 month wait. Now today I was supposed to get it removed and they called AN HOUR before my appointment to tell me it had to be cancelled due to an emergency, to which I replied okay how long will I have to wait for a new apt… ANOTHER month! I’ve been trying to get this removed for months and it’s bothering my vision, on top of that the bump is clearly visible so I would like it to be gone to feel confident again. HORRIBLE, I asked if they could try and find another spot or even MAKE one as I had gone through so much effort (taking time off work, cancelling a weekend away etc) but nope, another month.     A very complicated way to make an appointment (a combination), so I get emails with a set appointment then call to change and cant do on the phone as some else needs to do, and not the receptionist. So the whole charade of emails is coming again. Time and time again. I never get a clear explanantion what checks i am ought to have, just a standard message that i may not ride a car to Bergman due to drops in my eyes, but every other time it does not happen. But i am travelling by taxi already and do all necessary arrangements. Compared to other health providers, this is not a well balanced service towards clients. Glad i have to be here just once a year for a checkup....
