Small gym. When it’s as busy as it gets, there will be a line waiting 30-40 mins to use the squat rack with one member using a rack for the area rather than the sole purpose of squatting, deadlifting, or hip thrusting. Chaotic and no structure to the terrible wait times.

Important Note: This isn’t about the experience I had at the gym of using their equipment or how my experience I had with employees or how clean the gym. This review is going to talk about how much it took to get my refund for the down payment. For those who are thinking of just trying out this gym and if you don’t like it and want a refund after trying it out for a day or two, you’re out of luck. It took me about 3 months to finally receive my refund of my down payment and this was with all the calling and in-person meetings trying to get my money back. And if you’re wondering why I didn’t cancel in-person? Well I did ask but instead they gave me a number to call and create an account to just cancel my subscription. As usual they make it difficult to cancel the subscription. Even after all that was said and done, you’ll properly won’t see it for a month if you’re lucky, even if you call for help you still have to wait since there isn’t something they can really do but ask you to wait another week and another week and so on. Once again I don’t recommend this gym just for the fact it took so long to refund my down payment in the beginning. All the calling and in-person meeting would have not happened if they just refunded in-person

The most important thing to know is that this gym is very, very small. Everything is compacted in a rectangular building. There is no pool, no hot tub, no sauna, and no steam room. Just a “spa” with a few lazy boy massage chairs amd television screens. Around 4-6:30 it gets packed. And I mean PACKED. Like a line of 5-6 people just waiting to use a squat rack or bench after a huge group of guy monopolize machines, sometimes more than 1 at a time, spending like 30-45min at one location. The personal training area apparently is off limits to everyone whom is not being trained, DESPITE the lack of available equipment and workout space. Additionally, the gym itself is really nice and kept in good condition. Tiny, but great use of space. The machines are modern and are in great shape. The employees are nice enough and always polite and helpful.

This place sucks! We joined Last December and charge us annual fee after 3 months.It’s not easy to cancel,they will let u to call the other agent for cancellation,I did cancel it today April 1st and they said that they will still bill me with the month of May.I want to give them zero star! Just go to other gym!

This gym is really small, no pool or any other amenities. While the interior is new and clean (didn't visit locker rooms) the parking lot was dirty and sketchy. Homeless individuals straight across the entrance, one of them had set up white cardboard walls to defecate. The homeless community taking residence made me very concerned for my car. Will not be returning due to safety and health concerns.

Dont come in here if you expect a quick and easy cancellation. They refused to cancel membership in person. Needed to do it online instead. It has been weeks and I have yet to get my refund. Very unfortunate

Train your staff and keep them from wasting time with their false advertising. The staff at this gym has no idea what deals they can or can't offer. They send out text offering deals that have already expired. You should honor it regardless of whether it's expired or not, your employee texted the offer to me as if it was still valid just to have a rude employee, Leslie tell me it wasn't going to honored. Then she said sometimes they send out things from another location, so i showed her another text mentioned from Anaheim Golds gym. Anaheim Townsquare... she rolled her eyes and then wouldn't allow me to purchase a membership for my son. This place is ridiculous. They need to clean house.

Do not enter. You will receive promises they don’t intend to keep and they make it almost impossible for you to cancel your gym membership. The men’s restroom was dirty and More then twice I have seen roaches.

The best value gym in the area! This newest facility is kept clean and well maintained! The newer equipment is state of the art and adequate for a good workout, even with a capacity crowd, though the place never seems too crowded! Upon entering, members and guests check in and are greeted by the friendly staff, who can assist them with the equipment and getting items at the company store, including nutrition products, drinks, snacks and those famous Golds® t-shirts! Parking is accessible a block from Lincoln, off S. Peregrine St., behind the post office. The front entrance is actually on the backside of Anaheim Town Square, facing south, away from Lincoln Bl.

I’ve been an active member of golds gym going 6x a week, The only complaints I have is that its very rare to find an open squat rack and sometimes the gym can get crowded. Unless you use the squat racks 7x times a week than I would recommend this gym to anyone.

Location is decently located. Near freeways for easy access home and near grocery stores and restaurants for after a workout. Facility is VERY clean. I cannot emphasize how clean it is despite seeming not so clean on the outside. The Staff is mainly idle at their stations or cleaning the equipment every hour, but still friendly and knowledgeable. Been a member since February 2020 and I still really enjoy it.

STAY AWAY FROM GOLDS, unless you like to pay for one more month before they let you cancel. I’ll never sign up for golds again, worst company when it comes to canceling. They won’t do it in person and give you a number to call. Second they get you again after waiting for someone to talk to by telling you still have to pay one more month. Pathetic I’ve never dealt with this with 24 hour, chuze, or EOS. Bad customer service and horrible cancellation procedure. STAY AWAY FROM GOLDS.

A very ok gym. It does get very full and there are lots of kids/teenagers that are often very loud or are inconsiderate of other patrons personal space

I called and asked if I could bring my friend with me as guest and they told yes of course you can, and I drove 20 minutes to get there and when we arrived the front desk told me that I have to pay $20 for my guest which is almost as much as the membership itself. Horrible experience never again.

Enrique G. assisted me at the gym today and got me signed up in no time. I came in with a Groupon, he asked me to wait only momentarily while he scoured his computer to figure out the details. He got me signed up and working out without a hassle. I 100% recommend him. Pros: Bathrooms were nice. Equipment looked semi new, however the piece of equipment I used today had tears in both parts of the padding. Not a big deal. Employee was helpful and informative in getting patrons in the gym with little hassle. Cons: The gym itself is small and it was crowded for being 9pm at night. They did expand one of the rooms with full cages/squat racks to help alleviate congestion. The downside to this however is that there are limited weights to workout with and makes it inconvenient when you are at a workout station. As for cleanliness it appeared clean, however I could only spot 2 sanitization spray bottles for the whole gym. Lastly the entrance of the gym and sales desks do take away from prospective gym space. This ultimately hinders an already small gym arena. Hopeful Improvements: My suggestions for the gym would be to 4 fold. 1) extend the hours maybe 1-2hrs later in order to help relieve gym congestion 2) add more olympic weights so patrons are not fighting over equipment AND weights 3) add more paper napkin/sanitation spray bottles throughout the gym 4) all the sales desks give the vibe of "sell me something" and that is not why people go to the gym. Overall: 4/5 stars isn't too shabby for a small gym. They barely squeaked into the 4-category as there are nicer and larger gyms at comparable price points. The helpful employee and ease of signing up pushed it into the 4. There are several improvements that can be made.

Love the employees. They are attentive, knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate. The members are also courteous and helpful as well

Horrible experience they dont deserve a single star staff members are horrible... they give attitude to paying customers they ahould replaze those type of people.. im canceling my membership .. i do not recomend the golda gym in anaheim
