If you want to eat forget this hotel. The prices are high and service is terrible. Decided to have supper at the hotel and waited 75 minutes for our supper to be served and it was cold. Looked for an outside vendor for breakfast and none was available in walking distance. We attempted to eat at the hotel, thinking a new crew would be more efficient. We were wrong! I wanted coffee and cream. The coffee came and was cold. I never did get the cream. I looked at the menu and the high prices and decided I will not through experience of supper and left. Please let me mention, our luggage was lost in transport from the hotel entrance to our room directly after the comment from a hotel employee stated “Do not worry about your luggage. We will take care of it for you. “. Luggage was found in a storage room after a complaint and a search. I would like to mention the room was clean. As a recommendation, if you stay at this hotel, do not give up your luggage and bring your own food.

Stayed here about a week ago when flying between cities and had a few things to do in anchorage. Room was clean and the shower was so amazing! I didn't have any problems with laundry service or house keeping (everyone was quick to respond to my needs!) The front desk was kind and understanding, I like to highlight people when I review hotels and in particular Anthony in room service was an amazing individual and very personable, he was the best room service wise! In terms of breakfast I enjoyed the food but the service from Stephanie was 5/5 stars! Understanding of my needs and accommodating with the warmest smile I have ever seen from a waitress. Overall 5/5 stars this hotel is the best in all of Alaska!

Hotel itself was nice. Wish there was more than just 1 desk chair, no couch or easy chairs. Othwise the room was fine. My main negative issue was with the on-site restaurant. We were tired and hungry. Waited at our table for over 2 hours after ordering a simple meat and cheese tray. Ultimately just left after paying for drinks. After 3 hours they did bring the food to our room at no charge, but too late. Stay here, yes. Eat here, no.

Terrible customer service. Incorrect pricing told to us at check in. When checking in, the guy at the desk gave the 3 people infront of me rooms that already had people staying in them. The manager Tina was completely rude and unwilling to help. Room was terrible and mattress seemed to have been blown out for a long time. Was sinking in on both sides of the bed. This is the worst hotel we've ever stayed at. They don't even deserve 1 star. Would not recommend staying here at all. Way over priced and not worth it at all, stayed for 1 night and it was the worst night of the week. Do yourself a favor and pick a different hotel to stay at.

Rooms had a very strong smell and kinda dated. Bed was super comfy. Service and staff were great! Restaurants kinda pricey. The spa is closed and the restaurants are only open certain times. We found a ton of better places to eat around the area and way better priced. The staff was honestly amazing!

Christina at the front desk is an absolutely amazing!! We got in around midnight after a super long day of traveling, and Christina’s kindness and generosity immediately made us feel taken care of. 10/10 service! Otherwise rooms are very nice, be aware that you’ll need to pay for parking.

Due to numerous flight delays we didn't arrive at the hotel until 4 am, having been awake and traveling for 24 hours. As we dragged our exhausted bodies into the lobby we were greeted by the smiling face of Chistine. She was the bright shining light at the end of the very long tunnel! She greeted and welcomed us so warmly, efficiently checked us in and sent us up to our rooms for two hours of sleep. When we came back down she then went above and beyond helping me to connect my Kindle to the Wifi. We were so grateful for her excellent service. The rest of the staff also met her high standards. Our room was clean and comfortable and very nicely decorated. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you all for giving us a great start to a great vacation.

We visited while celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary and found our initial reception by Jaida to be extremely welcoming and most hospitable. Each time she noticed us she checked on our status and did anything she could to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. She is quite the Ambassador for the Sheraton and immediately made these Lifetime Titanium Members feel valued and welcome. Shawayne in the Ptarmigan Bar was the epitome of courteous and greeted us by name each time she saw us. Her recognition of us made us feel quite special and she also recognized our anniversary and treated us above and beyond with generosity and kindness. She is an extremely hard-working as we witnessed her darting from the bar to the kitchen caring for and serving her bar customers. Eric in the concierge lounge was a fun and welcoming team member. He was a gracious host in the lounge and welcomed each guest as they entered and departed. He worked to do anything needed to ensure your visit to the lounge was enjoyable. Our stay at the Sheraton was very enjoyable and comfortable. We even found Manny the Moose 🫎 It was a fun hide and seek promotion for the guests to find the Sheraton mascot hidden somewhere in the hotel. So creative and fun interaction with the Marriott family. Thank you for a lovely stay and a very special Anniversary trip.

Very pleasant and friendly staff and overall service. Room were clean and comfortable, laundry on sight uses quarters, decent place for an overnight stopover on your way to your next destination. Highly recommend.

Overall, this hotel was a disappointment. There is no spa, but there is a nice gym. The rooms are really dated, and the "Ptarmigan Lounge" restaurant is a joke. The free concierge lounge has a decent breakfast, and the woman who attends the lounge is a delight. The food and service in the Ptarmigan Lounge were just awful. We ate at the restaurant the first night we arrived in Anchorage. We'd been tired after traveling all day. It took 40 minutes for my husband's cocktail to arrive after he ordered it. It took over an hour and 15 minutes for our food to arrive. I ordered the "stew" in the picture with a grilled cheese. It was more of a vegetable soup that tasted burnt, and the grilled cheese was toasted on only one side. Our server ignored us after she took our order and delivered my husband's drink. We had to talk to the host to find out if our food was coming. They blamed the delay on room service.

The room was great, clean and roomie. Bathroom was fine, clean and properly stocked, had to look for that blow dryer though. The management needs to look at the exterior of the building. Picture below. the facia needs attention. A good Hotel , was only there for one night. The snack bar was a bit pricy, and lack of other food options was disappointing.

Rooms are nice but dated. No housekeeping unless you stay over 3 days. Dinner restaurant was HORRIBLE! Was with a group of 7 people. Completely forgot 2 orders which was for burgers. When order came out both burgers were so undercooked they literally dripped blood. The waitress was horrified. She sent them back for recooking. Later came out with different burgers burned to a crisp. The waitress did comp my meal, not the other. Our waitress Andrea was great and this was not her fault. I

Jaida was one of the front desk staff and she was so helpful! We were traveling with our toddler and on the last day of our trip so we were beyond tired. She was so kind and helped us look at a map to find things to do in the area that were age appropriate. It was a difficult day at the hotel as the check in time is later (4PM which may be typical here as it was the same time for the 2 other hotels we stayed at in Alaska). Everyone was getting upset. She maintained her kind demeanor. I would definitely stay here again. The reason I said the rooms were 4 stars is they are more dated but I would say well maintained.

This hotel is definitely the nicest in Anchorage. I would know, I come every year for 24 days at a time for my military service. I have never been so taken care of in all of my time in Alaska. So much so that I am writing a review, and my first one of my time in Alaska. The front desk agent Christina was incredibly professional and found I made a mistake with my booking (completely my fault) this then led her to not only notifying me of the issue but going completely out of her way to fix it. I cannot express in words how absolutely appreciative I am of the service here at the Sheraton. If you see Christina, tell her I said hi!

Bright clean comfortable, however. Did have a few occupied rooms that were booked. Something along the lines of going to our supposed room, only to find someone else there in the shower. Or attempting to get another one, only to find someone sleeping in the bed. Then on the third time, someone's bags were on the bed unpacked. Finally getting a room. Just a surprise visit. It happens.

Being a tourist with a group, getting a room should have been alit easier. When we showed up at the time we said we would staff was not ready at all. They had to make room keys while we had to stand around waiting. Also we were told that our luggage would be in our rooms, but the luggage we found in our room was not ours. The room we got was nice but that is about all we can say.

This was a great place to stay while we were in town. The rooms were clean and service was great. However, the bathroom had a vague odor of mouse droppings or something similar. My bathroom, as well as my parent's bathroom in their room had the smell. Luckily it didn't permeate to the main area of the room. Other than that, no complaints.

Reliable option. The rooms are due for a remodel soon. The food options in hotel need some improvement. The Ptarmigan bar has a good dinner, but that's the only option. Breakfast and lunches are weak. In the summer, you can take a walk to many nice options.

I have stayed in many hotels, and in my opinion hotels are just for walls, clean sheets, and hot water. But the thing that makes a hotel really stand out to me is the water pressure. The Sheraton Anchorage hotel has amazing water pressure! Nothing better after a good nights rest is a great shower! They are also a very clean, friendly, safe place to stay while in Anchorage. I highly recommend the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel. ps Dont forget to enjoy view! WOW WOW WOW

Hotel staff were professional and caring when my reservation did not transfer from Booking. They upgraded my room, discounted and were very nice. Rooms were clean. Bathrooms are a little smaller than expected but still usable and get the job done. Fell asleep quite quickly on the giant pillow of a bed. Views were phenomenal. Very much appreciated the stay.

Lucy & Tino in the restaurant were excellent! Very helpful & attentive. Much appreciated! The room was also very cozy & I loved the pumpkin contest on the lobby. Thanks for a great stay!

Very happy to have stayed at this hotel while in Anchorage. Clean, great blackout curtains to keep the light out, decent breakfast bar, very clean, and great personal service from all of the employees. The only small bones I had to pick, that kept this from being a 5-star, was when no one came up to bring me my extra coffee creamer and sugars I had asked for. I had to go down and get it myself after having waited over 30 minutes. Perhaps that was a result of just being short on employees…..which seems to be everywhere these “post” pandemic days. And secondly, the bathroom seemed very small, only able to fit one person at a time. Overall- very content. Thank you Sheraton.

The hotel is not in a central location, but walking distance to a lot of restaurants and the downtown tourist area. The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained. The staff was so nice and helpful during my stay. I enjoyed chatting with them upon my arrival. There are no amenities available due to COVID, so don’t expect much to be happening in terms of free breakfast, etc.

Nice location to downtown and base. Clean rooms and attentive front desk. The challenges here are that you have to pay for parking, food takes too long to come out ~45min, and dining wait staff is not as expedient as expected. I will not return here unless I have no other option.

I usually have good stays here but this time not so much. My room’s fire alarm beeped every hour starting at 2am. that happens i guess. the coffee and breakfast in the 11th floor club was not ready at 6:30 or even 6:45 when we left to get breakfast downstairs. the roof in the lobby is leaking in multiple places. Room was decent but for the alarm. all this for over $500 a night seems a bit much. folks working there are very nice

The beautiful young lady at the front seen at a hotel. We got there and she was fully booked, she went out of her way to help us find a place. She ended up getting us taken care of. The next time I need a hotel in anchorage I will be coming back here purely because of Christina's customers service. Thanks again for getting us squared away.

Wonderful rooms and breakfast buffet. Waitress was busy visiting with sister city customers while we were left waiting for our beverages. Once on the public sidewalks we were usually hit up for money but left us alone when they were told to. Guess that's a problem all over.

Great service from MR. HERBERT and MS.YONG. They are amazing!!! They turned a bad day into a good evening. I can't speak highly enough about them. Nice rooms. Comfortable beds. Good food.

Great place. Fully open and very convenient yet quiet location. Ok next visit not as good. 19. DOLLARS a day parking fee! If you park on the side street meters are no charge twixt 6pm and 9am. Staff in restaurant super casual and a bit slow. However they are all very nice.

I was concerned when I saw some of the reviews for this place. I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby is comfortable and the water is so refreshing and delicious. I was with a group and we all raved about the water that was available upon arrival. The service was friendly and genuine. We were warmly welcomed by the front desk. The rooms were nice and there was complimentary coffee. There were plenty of outlets for charging. In July, it doesn’t get dark until midnight and I wanted to soak it all in. The hotel is within walking distance to parks, a mall, shops and places to watch the sun set. One direction felt safer then the other but that’s typical for a city. It’s a beautiful place with an abundance of nature and clean air.

I took my wife out for a date night to the Ptarmigan Bar and Restaurant. The ladies serving us were fantastic. They were attentive, professional, and ensured we were well taken care of. Thank you Yong, Nancy, Baby Jane, Liz and Melanie for making our night special. Your service tonight was exceptional. To the chef, your seafood chowder was amazing and the ribeye was cooked to perfection.

Loved staying here. Excellent service from all staff, and Pa'i at the front desk is wonderful! The bed and pillows were so good, I slept like a baby! The views were fantastic from the room and the club level lounge. Breakfast food and evening appetizer were better than expected.

Stayed at the hotel for business. The staff were exceptional at accommodating us, giving warm and friendly welcomes, being informative about parking, breakfast, and luggage. The hotel is clean, quiet, and has loads of space for parking. Considering it was half the price of the Marriott I was very impressed.

The reviews website would not let me put a review in, so here I am put in it on here. I am Javaris Logan and I stayed at the Sheraton for weeks for my military stay; Loved every moment of it. I received the best service at a hotel I have ever experienced in my 26 years of living (for perspective haha). The front desk was the absolute best people to talk to during my stay and if I ever had a problem. If you ever had a problem, you could go to Pa'i, Christina, James, Ella, Cara, and Hubert and they would get it done and/or do the best they could to fix your situation from the information you give them! This hotel had two restaurants w/bar in them, so that was a huge pro and convenience. That staff was good to me too as well! Thank you all for your great customer service! :)

Very disappointing stay. We booked here for the steakhouse and spa. The spa has been closed for a while, which is not clear at all on their website. The “steakhouse” Jade is not a dinner place, and Jade’s breakfast buffet is on par with hospital food but costs $25.95/pp! The lobby is nice. Check in was easy, but then we were handed a card and told to scan it to pay $19/night outdoor parking fee. The room was fairly blah. The toilet is the kind you’d find in a gas station. The shower didn’t drain well and filled up a few inches. Wind whistled through the windows. Not what I would expect from a Sheraton. We were given the “Covid excuse” at every turn for why the place wasn’t running well and why breakfast took so long.

My stay at the Sheraton was overall awesome compared with other hotels in the Alaska. The staff is super friendly and made small details to make sure i did enjoy my stay at Sheraton. Pai answered all the questions i had about local tourism, ammenities etc. Great customer service. Pai made the difference between 4 stars to 5. Kudos to her. Also other staff members like the one at the breakfast and club lounge were super friendly and helpful. honestly overall the staff goes above and beyond in customer service. Kudos to all of them. Clean rooms, bathrooms overall infrastructure/rooms are awesome and at par with other Sheratons.

Ive been staying at the Sheraton on and off since 1998. It has always been good and the breakfast has a lot of items. The rooms have good views as well!
