Tried the dine in option, ordered a 2pc drumstick and was pleasantly surprised with the portion size and side salad option. Chicken was nicely spiced and combo was well priced at $14.50. Bubble tea is a bit expensive, I ordered a mango pomelo sago for $8.50 medium sized. Overall decent, would be a cool place to hang out with friends.

Happy see a restaurant in downtown that makes popcorn chicken + bubble tea and opens later in the evening!!! The fried chicken and pork were fried well, juicy and crispy. However the popcorn chicken was over-seasoned and over-salted, probably by accident. I’ll come back to order that another time taste it properly. The bubble tea drinks are indeed yummy and they were indicated on the menu with a 👍 recommendation. (Get the drinks half-sugar though. )

Most of the menus are fried food. The highlight of our dish was the fried chicken with cheese. Calamari was a bit rubbery, but the sauce was good. The beef rice set was ok because the portion is quiet big. We also get chicken soup for every person 👍

Visiting from Winnipeg and we stopped by for a quick lunch. We absolutely 💯 enjoyed our experience. The service was quick, friendly, and professional. We got the meals with rice and they were so delicious. Portions were enormous. I got the fried chicken it was moist and flavourful. We also loved the chicken soup which was served in glasses-that was unique. I got the sweet tofu topped with red beans for dessert. It was delicious!

We just moved into the Peter Wall building but we have lived DT for many years and have conquered Davie and denman and many other areas. We love this place, from the crazy food menu to the huge selection of bubble tea literally just below us and we came for happy hour 🍻 drinks and eats and just loved their food. Service was friendly and nice also. ***editing my review as I’m ordering more of course. The oreo milk tea was so good and the ghost 👻 pepper popcorn chicken was so hot! Lol but I love it We will be coming back for years!!! 🥳

Went on a Friday at 10pm, as they were open late. Visually the store is nice, lots of seating too. We got a passion fruit sparkling milki and Oreo cake milk tea. The passion fruit drink was super sweet, and you can't change the sugar level (which the server did mention prior). There were also seeds in it, so be warned if it you don't like the crunchy texture. I didn't enjoy it personally. The absolute WORST part were the pearls, it was super hard and powdery on the inside. I'm not sure if it was undercooked or just old. Pretty much ruined the drink. The Oreo drink was okay, slightly watery and not much flavour. I think the drinks were about $9 on average.

Atmosphere and interior decor is trendy. Great place to chill with great food and beverages. Highly recommended for the chicken burger combo. The chicken steak was fried perfectly with lots of juice and spices. Careful it's hot so order it if you like spicy . Fries are thin slices which are extra crispy with great seasoning. If you're in downtown, give it a try!

Popcorn Chicken is pretty good but a bit too spicy for my kid. I suggest putting a chili icon in your menu so customers know what to avoid. House Milk Tea is also nice with one remark that coconut jelly is more on jelly than coconut. I love the pudding thou. The only problem is around price point. I’m not going to be a regular customer but won’t cross you off my list.

Let me tell you about Kurotaki Chabann! This place is a real treat for the eyes. The modern decor and pristine cleanliness make it feel like you're dining in a fancy hotel. And with tables and booths available, you're sure to find the perfect spot for your party. But what really sets this place apart is the friendly and helpful staff. They'll make you feel right at home and help you navigate the menu if you're not familiar with Japanese/ Korean cuisine. Now, let's talk about the food. While it didn't blow my socks off, I'd say it's solidly average. But hey, sometimes average is exactly what you're looking for. Plus, the few times I've been there it wasn't too busy, which made for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. I highly recommend checking out Kurotaki Chabann for yourself. Grab some side dishes and a little soju and let the good times roll. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Came here out of curiosity and came out quite satisfied. Is it the best food? No; but it's above average. Overall, the highlights were the calamari with fries being the winner hands down. The salad was a generic salad but the cherry tomatoes prevented it from being unnecessary. The burger was good but it broke apart easily making it a bit difficult to eat. The chicken chop with cheese was the worst of the items. It was bland and uninspired. The cheese didn't do anything and the chicken itself was bland. The decor was good. They were playing Mr. Bean on a big screen which was a weird but welcomed choice. Will we come back here? Possibly but it won't be the first choice.

We ordered snacks to enjoy at David Lam park which is a quick 5 min walk away. Portions were generous and the food was hot and well presented. Service was also very friendly! As for the flavours... Chicken nuggets: Just okay... there was an unusual flavour we think maybe from the oil they use. Nuggets were slightly crispy but not as crispy as we'd like. Tofu: These were bad. Soggy and no crisp at all. Same problem as the chicken nuggets there was a strange flavour from the frying oil. We ended up throwing these out. Venting the takeout containers would go a long way to keep fried items crispy (most restaurants use paper containers OR cut a corner off the plastic container). I also think the establishment should check the quality of the oil used for frying.

Great little place with a pretty impressive interior design inside. The milk tea itself if good as well, not mind blowing, but certainly up to satisfaction. It's a chill vibe inside and a good place to take a date or to just hang with friends. The service was pleasant as well. The only critique is that I would say it's slightly on the higher end of the price spectrum (paid $8.50 for a drink), but for where it's located I suppose it's understandable. Didn't try their food options but it looked good.

It’s a hidden gem in the neighbourhood. The bubble teas are amazing and freshly made. The service is fast and the staff are so kind. Liked the cozy vibe of the place. We tried few items from their happy hour menu. The fried mushrooms was our favourite item.

Well worth it! Just tried it for the first time, won't be our last visit. Beautiful decor, super friendly attentive staff / management and the food and drinks were excellent. Visited during the lunch hour, didn't try the brunch items but they look awesome. We had the cheese fried chicken chop combo, fried salmon filet wrap, Oreo cake milk tea and the Pineapple and Mango Soda drink. It was all very tasty, the Oreo tea is like a milkshake ... I could have finished another couple for sure. Couldn't resist a cheese cream strawberry tea as I was heading out the door ... also a treat.

Ordered larger cream cheese strawberry tea and got free large cream cheese mango tea because of HAPPY HOUR. Spent 8.75 for 2. Really fresh and creamy. The waitresses are really friendly and sweet. Loved both drinks. Worth it.

Kurotaki Chabann is so good! I’ve come here both along and with friends and have always had a great experience, whether it’s with the food or the service. From their menu I especially like their popcorn chicken and chop chicken rice meals, which both come with sides served in tiny dishes. Their bubble tea is also top-notch stuff. Lots of variety with toppings or boba and different flavours for whether you like your milk tea hot or cold. The interior is pretty cool too! It’s sad they don’t have the vending machines at the back of the restaurant that sold figurines anymore, but maybe it wasn’t profitable so that makes sense. Either way, this place is highly recommended!

I recently tried the chicken chop with rice and grilled pork with rice at. Both dishes were exceptional. The chicken was tender, and the flavors were rich, making each bite a delight. The grilled pork was also wonderfully soft and bursting with flavor. The service was excellent, with attentive staff making the dining experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance added to the overall charm of the place. I highly recommend trying these dishes at for a satisfying and flavourful meal.

Stumbled across this restaurant one day and I’m so happy to have tried this place. It’s one of my favourites now. The restaurant has a nice and relaxed atmosphere and staff are friendly. The food and drinks are great as well and the portions are generous. I’ve ordered delivery a few times now and never had an issue either. My go to orders are the fried mushrooms and fried tofu. My partner enjoys the popcorn chicken and calamari :)

Ordered this bbt. The pearls were not even cooked properly . Never had pearls this hard before. Kindly told the staff and he was being super rude, told me they only have these kind of pearls … didn’t apologize nor offer a new one. Worst experience ever in Vancouver! Wish I could give no star

Kurotaki is my favourite Taiwanese bubble tea spot in downtown! There’s nothing like this out there especially not in downtown! In short: good quality food/drinks, awesome ambience and spacious, and good prices. I’ve been here over 5 times and I keep bringing people back. They even serve alcoholic drinks AND they’re high quality and super affordable. Suggestions: Alcoholic: Mango Margarita BBT: Mango Pomelo Sago with Creme Brulee

Interesting little fried chicken joint in a quiet location in downtown. The establishment sounds Japanese with the branding, but I'm pretty sure it's Taiwanese. Not that it's a bad thing, the food is great, there's bubble tea and the prices are reasonable for downtown. Not a bad place to go for lunch. Interior decor is nice and trendy, with "hype beast" references. Menu selection for drinks and food is decent. No alcohol here, though I think it would go well with the food they serve. Servers are friendly.
