The place is great and beautiful, especially in the Summertime when you can seat on the patio. Inside is good too. Prices are good because your plate will come with a cup of soup or a plate of salad. Beers are good and almost 7-9 dollars. They have happy hours between 2 pm-5 pm you can get a little discount on beer and some appetizers. Our entree was Ravioli which was delicious and authentic. The meal was more than enough for one person and after your meal, you can enjoy your free ice cream.

I really enjoyed dining here. I recommend making reservations, especially for large parties, as there was a 10 minute wait for me. Our waiter, Edward, was an absolute delight. He was patient, explained questions I had about the menu and did so with a cherry attitude. I ordered the Seafood Fettuccine Alfredo and it was delicious!! My portion was a little smaller than expected but it was filling for me. We also got free ice cream for dessert. Highly recommend!

The "its all included" menu is a great value. U get a lot off food only 20 bucks. I absolutely loved the Caesar salad that comes with it. 10/10! Would highly recommend. Unfortunately, can't say the same about the seafood fettuccine. Its was bland and lacked any seasoning whatsoever. The chocolate-pestasio ice cream was delightful.

The place is phenomenal. Location is one of the kind, historic, and memorable. It's very nice to preserve this old building. Parking is hard to find and pay for parking. Let's get to food, I was expecting more higher quality taste than what I received. Spaghetti was hard, and the meat sauce had after taste. If it was a regular restaurant, I would say it is fine, but they're Italian cuisine and should be great. I'm comparing them to real Italian foods. I'm not trying to be picky, but they could do better. But kids' food better than their spaghetti that ordered. Very nice waiters and staff. They also serve free ice cream after food, which is much appreciated.

Fine dining and cheap than other places in Vancouver. Friendly staff and tasty food. Steak was good and well prepared. The spaghetti was not that good. Patio seating is a must. Inside the restaurant is having a nice ambiance. They give an All included option too.

Cozy Ambience, Mixed Culinary Experience: Last winter, I had the opportunity to dine at The Old Spaghetti Factory, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant had a warm and inviting ambiance, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family. Let's start with the positives: The restaurant's atmosphere was cozy and charming, contributing to a comfortable dining experience. I particularly enjoyed the rustic decor and the friendly staff, which added to the overall welcoming vibe. Now, onto the food. The garlic cheese toast, while okay, left a distinctive smell due to the type of cheese used. Some might find it intriguing, but others, like myself, might not be as fond of the scent. The dish was decent, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. The Pesto Linguine, unfortunately, fell short of expectations. It was bland and lacked the flavors I was hoping for in a pasta dish. As someone who appreciates bold and spicy flavors, I found it a bit underwhelming. However, taste preferences can vary, and for those who prefer milder options, this might suit them well. The highlight of the meal was undeniably the Spumoni dessert. It was simply divine, with a burst of delightful flavors. It served as a perfect ending to an otherwise mediocre culinary journey. One aspect I truly appreciated was the freshly baked bread served with butter. It was absolutely delicious and, in my opinion, even outshined some of the main dishes. The fact that it was complimentary made it all the more delightful, as it offered a delightful contrast to the rather ordinary main courses. To sum it up, The Old Spaghetti Factory is a great choice for those who enjoy a relaxed and laid-back dining experience. If you're not a fan of bold flavors and prefer milder, simpler dishes, this might be the perfect place for you. However, for individuals who, like myself, love spicy and richly seasoned food, this restaurant might not be the best match. My friends enjoyed their visit to The Old Spaghetti Factory and continue to return, but personally, I left a bit disappointed due to my preference for more flavorful fare. Nevertheless, the fantastic Spumoni dessert and the delightful bread with butter will remain in my memory as the highlights of the meal.

I would say this is perfect for a casual family dinner. This location is great, the portion is big enough to share, high price per quality ratio, service is good too. This is a great choice for an affordable dinner around downtown area.

If you want to experience authentic Italian food this is the place I would recommend. A mix of Italian American ambience very suggestive and friendly service staff, the best was all the servers know their menu and recommendations were amazing. I am an Indian vegetarian and most of the times it’s hard to find vegetarian food with different ethnicities cuisine to try but I was amazed when I saw a good variety of options for myself. 😊 It was fine dine at affordable prices. The fresh sourdough bread with fresh whipped white butter and that hint of garlic in it was to die for. Truly enjoyed this experience. Planning to come back soon with all my friends. 😂

Ordered chicken Alfredo and seafood fettuccine. Along with house soup and ice cream. The garlic butter and bread was delicious. The soup was warm and had consistency. The waiter added ample amounts of shredded cheese to your liking. The pasta and sauce was delicious. All things reasonably priced. Will return again.

Although we made a reservation for 6, we were seated around 6:45. When seated, we were quickly given water and bread and after our orders were placed, we received the food quickly. The included sides and salads were good, but the balsamic dressing was salty and different from other balsamic dressings we usually had. The food was great, especially the seafood marinara. The steak was cooked medium rare perfectly, but the spaghetti didn’t have a lot of sauce for it. Our meals also came with a tea or coffee which was nice. We finished with ice cream, with two options of vanilla or spumoni (vanilla, chocolate, and pistachio). The vanilla was really good, and the spumoni was good except the pistachio wasn’t as good.

My food is too salty. I ordered Cesar Salad and additional Grilled Chicken. I only ate 1/4 of my food. I raised my concern to the waiter and Manager and said He will let the kitchen know. Plus we haven’t done eating yet but the waiter is asking us if we would like to pack our food. Something like they don’t want us to stay longer. I am working as a social worker with a resident at home care today. I treat my client/patient to dine in a restaurant on his choice. So he chose The Old Spaghetti Factory. I am also a hospitality specialist, I work in a hospitality industry for the most years of my career. The whole restaurant experience is bad. I was working part time in healthcare because I also love taking care of people. Thank you for the nice ambiance of your restaurant. My first time to be here.

Nice place for family and great price point for all inclusive dinner. Used to love their mizithra cheese spaghetti but this time I find it too dry. But still worthwhile to go as the classic interior decoration still so beautiful esp with a real tram cart inside the restaurant. A good place to eat out with family if in gas town.

Great value and delicious food! Service is always so friendly and attentive. I absolutely love their free bread and garlic butter (super addicting). Their pasta is pretty normal, but satisfies that pasta craving. I tried their Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings for the first time today and it blew me away!! Loaded with creamy garlic sauce, slightly crispy, super juicy, and fall off the bone goodness. Highly recommend!!

It was a lovely place for affordable Italian cuisine. I’m in love with the decor and the old train compartment inside the restaurant. We had calamari and mussels for appetizer and penne. It is also all included meaning that you have an option of soup/salad, ice cream, bread and garlic butter at one low price. The service was great and the staff were courteous. We’ll definitely come back again!

First time at the Old Spaghetti Factory and it’s now one of my favourite restaurants. We got a table in the cable car after 2 mins wait time on a busy Sunday and had an amazing experience. Our waitress Nancy was very nice. Hands down, great food and even better price!

Moderately busy. I was so happy to find this place since it's my favorite restaurant. Greeted wonderfully. Got water at the bar with my sis while placing/waiting for togo order. Never refilled the water, waited 15 mins (avg time for food) never checked back and our order didn't have any bread?! We had the butter but no bread. Sad and wish sis didn't tip 22%%. But food was delicious and floor staff were kind and cheerful. I wouldn't recommend the bar, but still love the restaurant. (Check your order before you leave 🙂)

We tried the lasagna, penne and pesto. They serve 3 courses meal. The foods come with a side of salad and dessert. The restaurant has a very beautiful decoration; you can travel back to old Gas town during eating your meal.

The restaurant is centrally located in a bustling area, perfect for food enthusiasts. The staff is super friendly and cheerful. Despite the reasonable pricing, the seafood spaghetti I ordered was just okay. I couldn’t taste much of seafood eventually (I even preferred the bread and garlic butter served as an appetizer).

So happy to have visited the first Canadian location! The atmosphere is amazing, filled with lots of history. The menus are like a newspaper which is a great touch to fit with the theme. The space is fairly large and perfect for a large group of people. We were visiting from Toronto and really enjoyed our visit here. Lots of different meals to choose from with great portion sizes.

Food is amazing, prices are good and portions are big enough to get full. Hostess don’t mind to take you to the table, they just give you instructions and you have to find your friends by yourself, it’s a big place so you might want someone to come and tell you where is your table. The waiter was so friendly and attentive but then a waitress came and start to push us to go away because they had another reservation coming, she didn’t even smile at us, which is rude because she works for a good customer service… you just have two hours for having dinner and enjoy your friends there.

Stepped into an enchanting Italian restaurant boasting exquisite design and a warm atmosphere. The highlight was the lasagna, truly a culinary masterpiece, paired with top-notch service from the exceptionally courteous staff. The restaurant's vast space is cleverly divided into intimate zones, creating a cozy yet elegant dining experience. A gem that promises not only a meal but a delightful journey through Italy's rich flavors. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience!

All their spaghetti sauces need more flavor. The red sauce needs thyme, the pesto sauce needs more basil, the spumoni ice cream tastes like nothing. The only plate that I really liked was the onion soup and salad.

  • 1/5 Sathiyaseelan S. 4 months ago on Google
Othet than the ambience, everything is an absurd. First of all, taste of pasta and spaghetti are below average. Never expected such a poor quality. The only highlight is the fresh bread with butter that was served in the beginning. Then the waitress. She never bothered to understand what we ask. She says things at such a fast phase and in a hurry to run. It wasn't just once, but every single time. We will never return to this place and such a waste of money.

Overall Recommendation ★★★★☆ Basic ● Taste ★★★★★ ● Price ★★★★★ ● Kindness ★★☆☆☆ ● Comfort ★★★☆☆ ● Cleanliness ★★★★☆ Comment: Perfect Taste! I'm disappointed with the service. I had lunch with my family. There weren't many customers at the time. Almost all the tables were empty. There were few servers but they did not care about customers. There have been many customers since my family got the food. Then I had to wait more than 15mins to pay. The atmosphere was great. It's good that here dosent change every time I go Additional things ◎ Convenience of public transportation: ★★★★☆ ◎ Seating Availability: ★★★★★ ◎ Parking Availability: ☆☆☆☆☆ ◎ Washroom: ★★★★☆ They have great washroom but there is no sign. I should have wandered to go to the bathroom, and my parents did the same. Besides, the servers are in somewhere and can't be found.

I love their service! They provided kids drawing menu and crayons immediately when they led us to the table. Kids meal was great with lots of selections! Our regular pasta dish was large in portion, delicious, value of money. The dish include soup or salad, ice-cream or coffee. I ordered onion soup and it was really delicious! Baked cheese over the soup with bread crumb inside!

The food was okay. The service was not okay! The server kept "forgetting" some of our orders. He even got upset when we played music from our phone to distract the kids. He told us we were disturbing other guests who were dining there. The restaurant was already busy therefore it was pretty loud and sang "Happy Birthday" at least a couple times while we didn't complain about it and no one complained about our "noisy phone". He didn't bring the other side things that were already included in the on the menu. He brought the ice cream that seemed to look like he scooped it with a tablespoon. We complained to the manager and he agreed that it was not acceptable and took 10% off the bill, that is the reason we gave 4 stars. Most importantly he listened and the server came back and apologized. Be sure to ask for sides in the "all included" because it is already included in the price and you are paying for it.

I had a fantastic experience at The Old Spaghetti Factory in Gastown, Vancouver! The portion size was generous, and I loved that the meal came with coffee, a delicious salad, and ice cream. The flavors were outstanding, and the service was top-notch. The atmosphere with its unique decor and the old train inside the restaurant adds an extra layer of charm to the dining experience. I'll definitely be returning for more amazing meals.

Order a salad, lasagna, and a glass of wine. Good mixed of the dry cranberries with Dijon mustard, or honey Dijon ( don’t remember well) the lasagna was good, enough portion for one, and with a lot of cheese 🤤 Would go again, to try more of their menu. Also the bread is tasty!!

We were a big group of 10+ people without reservation, the host was very nice to set a table for us during busy lunch hours. Our server was super accommodating. She explained how the all-inclusive works and made recommendations for us. We have a few girls wanted to share an entrée between two people, and she had no problem with that. She still gave everyone an ice cream! This location definitely has better service than the other locations!

This place is awesome!! I dined there as a solo traveler and everyone was very welcoming. Service was 10/10 and did not feel rushed at any point. The food was excellent. It was so flavorful, generous portions, and I loved the full course meal. If you go there, you must try the Spumoni ice cream! I will definitely be returning before I leave Vancouver.

Dinner was awesome. I ordered the Fetticinne Alfredo and added chicken. Along with that, I was able to get a salad, a cup of hot tea, and dessert (ice cream) for one price. Will definately eat here again if I visit Vancouver again

Great place for a family meal. Taste is average but you honestly can’t complain when you get bread, soup/salad, entree and dessert for around 17$. The Caesar salad is very good!

Such a fun experience. I was here with my Dutch family and we all liked it. The staff was fun, especially one lady who had a good sense of humour. The food was special; never had it like this before. It was good tho, especially that chicken. The prices were a bit higher than normal, but its worth in my opinion because of the overall experience. While ordering we got a lot extra, ice for example. There are good gluten free options as well. Greetings from The Netherlands :)

Absolutely awesome all around. Beautiful atmosphere, staff was tip notch and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for a tasty meal. The food was super fresh, came out hot, and was so flavorful. The only issues we experienced were that my spoon was filthy. And my 2nd coke I got, the glass was greasy both inside & out. There was an oily film on the soda in the glass. I think kitchen staff needs to slow down a bit and wash dishes more deliberately.

I had a good experience dining here, however there are a few things to note. My ravioli was fantastic but my partner was not keen on his chicken parmigiana which was apparently quite bland. In my opinion the cake tasted a little stale despite looking promising, which was a bit of a let down. I was impressed with the ‘all included’ aspect of the menu which I hadn’t realized before entering the establishment. We were quickly provided with complimentary bread and garlic butter which was a nice surprise, and the waitress offered us more should we have wanted it. For the price, it is a solid option. I was not wowed unfortunately, but you can’t win them all.

This place is awesome. The environment is fantastic. There are tons of amazing details here and there. The food is delicious and the portions are really good. The menu also contains a good variety of foods. Don’t forget to ask for all the parts of the meal mentioned in the menu. The waiters might miss it because it gets really crowded there and they might forget if for example you got your desert or not. Ask for it if you hadn’t.
