The host always drunk. The rooms are not clean and nice, linens are full of dirty, someone used them before but not replaced new ones. Bad smells going over. Drunken people everywhere. I had no choice. So stayed there, terrible experience. Never going again there. Worst place in kandy. 😡😡😡

If you are looking for a room where you will find a lot of hair on the floor and some cockroaches and ants running around, then room number 5 is your place to be. The men who run the place are friendly and the bed is good. The thing I didn't like is that when you pay in Sri Lankan rupees they give you a black market rate and that is not fair to tourists who change their money in banks.

Terrible experience! Please do not even think on staying here. The man who ownes the place tried to steal from our room while we were away visiting the city. We left the room to visit the lake and temple, we asked about the temple he gave us directions. Half way, I remember that I forgot my wallet in my bag in the room, so I went back. To my surprise the owner was inside the room! Messing with the bag and obviously trying to take something of value

The rooms had a no views but mosquito infested, spider webs and dust. No room cleaning every day even after placing request. Our bins were getting full with baby nappies, food & stuff. Though keys were handed over, they did not bother to clean or clear them. Blood sucking bugs in bed/mattress propping up and mosquitoes. The bathroom was disgusting and mouldy. It’s not guarantee that we will get the same room which is on display online. Dogs inside the hotel compound and gang of street dogs around the corner. One of the guest (lady) was bitten by a dog during our stay on 21st Feb 2017. We were horrified when the manager/owner said not to worry it is just a family dog. A steep uphill and a steep downhill to reach the compound even tuk-tuk's struggle to climb. At any time of the day you have to dread the pack of dogs to reach any shop or restaurant. At night (around 7pm) it was quiet and dark ruled dog gangs. We did not feel safe at all. It was pitch black and had a terrible vibe. No stores any were near to the hotel and nothing to eat out. You had to walk to the other side of train station to find food to eat. Website claims 24x7 hotel reception. Not true. It shuts around 10:30PM and every thing around the compound gets dark. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We recently had a worse experience by booking this place. We booked via an app and over the phone confirmed our booking, bt when we visited ,the rooms we booked were already occupied, and only larger rooms were available. Since it was nearly midnight we had to pay for the rooms available, which had higher rates than what we already booked. Even our stay was not comfortable, rooms were infested with mosquitoes, no hot water ( that also when we complained, all they said was that they would look into it in the morning ) and rooms were not clean nd of course poor service.

Best hotel for the price they charged plus mouth watering dishes, i highly recommend to all

Horrible experience staying there there is no tv even though I opted for a ac room the ac didn't work the fan was running very slow please don't stay there

Not really as described in the photos. Have to go inside a road. Not best but okay to stay one night. Clean room, bathroom was not well. NO hot water.

The worst place I have ever seen. No Wi-Fi, no AC, Even they don't have Clean bed sheets and Dirty kitchen.

Nice big rooms with a nice view from the common area. Takes 10-15 minutes to get into the city but the train station and the bus station are really close. The owner organised cancellation train tickets at 6am for no extra fee!

I had a pleasant stay at this place first week of Nov 2021. good service and hospitality reasonable rate and good breakfast too. very encouraging staff and support and supported on all our needs. late checkin and late booking etc.

We arrived realy late. Place didnt look nice on first sight but inside was all ok. Nice and clean, everything was working. Perfect ratio cost/quality! Good way to go
