😠 I have always thought that the cleanest spot of a house is its kitchen. I am sorry to spend my time in this place and sorry to share this photo but I just try to inform people before reserving this home stay... People often mention friendly, good, rooms, water, clean,

The exterior design of the house and the surrounding were awesome. The host family were very friendly and welcoming too. But inside the house was quiet disappointing. The rooms were very dirty, even the bedsheets, even the bathroom hoses were full of dirt and the floor was not clean at all. The kitchen was awful too, we had to clean everything ourselves to be able to eat in the plates and cook. We even found a big leech in our bathroom which was disgusting

It's really hard to find from the Kandy town even though their description says 1.2KM from the Kandy City Center. I took an uber right in front of the clock tower and the fare was 250 LKR. Their rooms are not that quality. 24H hot water facility, Parking, Attached bathroom, Clean sheets are available. The owner's description of the property does not match with the actual atmosphere. There are no shops nearby.

We had a great stay and felt like part of the family. The owners are both super friendly, warm-hearted and helpful all the time. Our room was very spacious, with huge room altitude and lots of windows. It offers all you need like tables/wardrobe/clothes rail. The bed is very comfortable. The terrace is big and there is a nice garden with exotic plants. The breakfast was delicious, we had a typical dish ("Dosas with Dhal and Coconut Chutney", fruits, juice, 2 fried eggs per person, coffee and toast). We asked to use the kitchen an it was possible to prepare some small dishes which was great, as we live to cook by ourselves sometimes too. :) The Accomodation is located on a very quiet area, walking distance to the city Centre is about 25 minutes down the little hill. It's a beautiful very green are near the Big Buddha Temple.

It’s a Dutch style house in a quiet neighborhood with a very kind maid taking care of it. We paid 8.5€. Going to the center downhill is 15min max; coming home is uphill, around 25min, which might be tough with heavy backpacks. Tuk Tuk charged us 250LKR at 8pm and 100LKR at 11am!We really enjoyed having access to the kitchen and the maid provided the tools we needed. There was good hot shower. The WiFi doesn’t work well and is reported as unsafe by websites like YouTube. The property would benefit from some more maintenance. Our bed was not steady at the top.

This property is a haunted place. The pictures that they have shared and the reality is completely different. There is water leakage in the washroom. The kitchen and the crockery are too dirty. There is no hot water in the shower. We asked several times. The landlady said keep the shower on the water will come and it never came. The person in front of our room kept his sleepers in the corridor. In the morning my husband has used that because he thought this might be shared. Suddenly we received a call from the person and he is scolding us and asking for the reimbursement of 5000 LKR for using his sleepers. The landlady has to discuss any such issue. I am extremely disappointed that she shared my personal contact details with an male stranger. The landlady said she has the laundry facility and we can keep our clothes in the bucket. There is no such facility only false promises are there. I highly deny to the travellers to stay in this property.

Called them on mentioned number to check the availability on 7th of December Poya day. A Lady answered the phone and replied they are closed on holidays. wonder why a hotel closed on holidays. Its a unacceptable thing. think she only trying to entertain foreign customers. they already forget how they survive during pandemic with local customers as a typical Sri lankan.

The room was very old and not clean at all. There is wood dust that fall from the ceill on the bed all time. They can hardly spwak english although they are friendly. The place is at the very end of a ramp road. I think if they renew it, it will be good.

Most disgusting, old and smelly place we had in Sri Lanka! The place is dirty, has no water pressure and flush is not working ( we tried two different rooms). The owner is friendly but still I cannot recommend this place at all!!!

Nice location in a small residential area on the hillside. It's a 15 min downhill walk to the centre. Clean rooms and hot shower, can't complain for around $10 a night. A tuk tuk should cost between 200-300 rupees from the train station. If you walk it's a bit of an uphill slog with a bag.

If you are visiting candy and would love a home stay with some friendly locals, Tree Breeze Inn is the place to book. Damayanti, our host was a lovely person! She lives with her husband in her huge heritage bungalow and has made a part of it available for tourists to say. He was helpful right from the day of booking in India until we arrived in Kandy, her husband was gracious enough to pick us up from the railway station. Tree Breeze Inn is has stunning beauty and greenery. All its rooms are equipped with good facilities and are maintained very well by the housekeeping staff. Damayanti cooked us some amazing local Sri Lankan food and also packed us food early in the morning to support our tourist ventures for the day, i just loved her. The hosts also helped us book cabs in local affordable rates and had great inputs to our plan of exploring Sri Lanka further. If you are looking for some hotel luxury and service, you might not like this place. One will have complete privacy and all basic necessities are very well taken care by the host.

It's a good place to stay for a short period of time for an affordable price. Rooms had attached bathrooms including hot water facility. Hostess and others are very friendly and helped us with everything. Got little late to give us the room (about 2.5 hours) Other than that, there were nothing to complain.

Great service. Excellent Dutch Style apartment. The owner was very caring and friendly. Ensured that all our needs are met. Rooms are huge and accessible. You should try their delicious breakfast. The only minor drawback is the bathroom needs some periodic maintenance.
