This
facility
is
well
equipped,
modern,
and
clean.
The
lower
star
review
is
for
a
particular
incident
that
happened
with
a
single
staff
member
of
the
facility.
The
staff
is
usually
cordial
and
makes
the
facility
welcoming,
but
a
particular
female
staff
(possibly
an
instructor
of
one
of
the
fitness
classes)
started
shouting
at
my
friend
and
I
after
we
scanned
in
from
the
side
door.
A
group
of
people
scanned
in
consecutively
but
I
was
the
only
one
singled
out
and
told
to
exit
the
gym
to
rescan.
When
my
friend
explained
I
am
checked
in
and
the
electronic
record
on
their
side
should
indicate
so,
the
lady
yelled
at
us
and
threatened
to
block
our
gym
privileges.
I
do
not
mind
having
to
rescan
as
I
understand
she
may
not
have
seen
me
among
the
group,
but
I
believe
she
could
have
used
a
different
tone
of
voice
and
approach
the
matter
amicably.
However,
she
deliberately
chose
a
cynical
"guilty
until
proven
innocent
"
attitude.
It
was
degrading
to
be
singled
out,
yelled
at,
and
wrongly
accused
in
front
of
other
gym
patrons.
After
I
scanned
in
again,
I
told
my
friend
I
feel
some
what
discriminated
against,
that
female
staff
member
(who
decided
to
walk
behind
us)
loudly
scoffed
at
us.
Katterbach
gym
claims
to
promote
an
equal,
safe,
and
non
threatening
environment
that
promotes
fitness
and
wellness
but
these
goals
are
unrealistic
when
a
staff
approaches
guests
with
a
judgmental
authoritarian
attitude.
