The largest and best supermarket in Antofagasta. Good cafe/restaurant. Reasonable service by Chilean standards. Dry cleaning and chemist available inside too.

I’m amazed on how many good products this grocery store carries. I spent 90 days in Chile before realizing I have been shopping in the wrong grocery store. JUMBO is THE only grocery store in Antofagasta. We found products here that is not available in the US or Canada.

Great variety of products, spacious Iles, nice and clean

A bit more expensive than the smaller stores. But it's huge and has everything from appliances to groceries to Home Furnishings to liquor to bicycles. It's like a mini Walmart. Update... Still great. They continue to add useful stuff that I haven't seen outside of the US. But the deliveries are not regular. So if you see something you like that you haven't seen before, buy extra.

So far, the best place to buy general stuff, but with the convenience of many imported products and with better costumer service. Keep an eye for weekly offers, and the special weekend lightning offers, first serve basis.

This supermarket has everything, in addition to all the possibilities offered by the businesses that are on the first floor, highly recommended.
