The hotel is pretty nice and modern, and the location is good. The room was clean, well lit, and had good heating. The room’s design was all really nice, except for one of the walls being orange, which seemed quite out of place. Two small things which were inconvenient were: 1. The lack of any outlets right by the beds 2. An old hair dryer which you have to hold down on the entire time for it to run

Please lower your expectations if you plan to stay here. It is an old Hotel with no highlights. Maybe the bear ocean will please you. But at least you have warm water in the shower and the staff is friendly.

Don't book here I'f you don't know english . Staff don't understand English . Reception and Bar guys seems don't bother for outsiders problem . Please travel with Universal plug charger as non of plug is EU type and staff also don't provide .

Clean, functional and efficient, with pleasant staff. Comfortable bed and a shower that runs strong and hot, so that makes it a good choice in my book! Fast wifi and a decent beer and wine selection in the bar are added bonuses. Loses a star for its sterility and lack of character, but this isn't exactly a resort destination...

The hotel is good located, facilities are good and the complementary breakfast is nice. The rooms are a little bit too small and there is not a good desk to work on your laptop, which is fine if you are travelling by yourself and for business. My shower didn't work as suppose to do

Nice facility... Front desk was understaffed but friendly and efficient. The restaurant was nice but the wait staff seemed untrained and the menu limited and the food was okay at best. The rooms are small but we'll designed, comfortable and efficient. The wifi was temperamental. Supposedly my room would have an ocean view but as you can see in the attached photo, the ocean view was a joke! Overall, a very nice facility and I will stay here again.

I love IBIS and stay with them frequently but this location was disappointing. Positives: 👉🏽Room was almost fully sound proof so makes for a great sleep. 👉🏽 Room was very clean and unlike a lot of hotels it didn’t stink of bleach or chemicals. I am asthmatic so I REALLY appreciate this. Thank you. 👉🏽 Great location. Near the water and restaurants. Also a kids park if you have little ones with you. Negatives: 👉🏽 Staff at the desk were quite hostile and not friendly. When I checked out, the lady was typing on her keypad and when she finished i gestured to her to ask is that everything and gave her a thumbs up and she just mumbled yes so I said okay thanks see you again and it was followed by silence. An odd way to say goodbye to a customer who is checking out. It felt quite awkward and certainly not very hospitable. 👉🏽 Check in process is far too long. We also had to fill out a health declaration form before we began the slow check in process. Not ideal when you are exhausted after a long bus journey! 👉🏽 The covid procedures are quite over the top. Considering everyone is vaccinated and it is not March 2020 anymore it seems quite extreme. Temperature check and sanitise at the door way, health deflation form before check in, this was also the only place we visited in Chile that asked us for a mobility pass to have a coffee. 👉🏽 Expensive. The room and bathroom is very small so I’m not sure how they justify the price. Also we were charged $7,000 for 4 small bottles of water. Considering tourists are advised not to use the tap water to brush teeth in Antofagasta, it’s wrong to charge such prices for small bottles of water. 👉🏽 Possibly a combination of the covid measures being strict and staff being quite hostile but the atmosphere in the hang out area is quite awkward and tense. Definitely not inviting to play a game of pool. There is slight feeling of unease or like you’re being watched, I can’t quite put my finger on it but it is not comfortable.

Standard Ibis, but its a little old, service, space and everything is good as Ibis always is.
