My husband and I had the fullest Sri Lanka n experience in Anuradhapura thanks to our host Kalum and Nadeeka. The hotel is located well, close to bus station and nice supermarket, also not far away from sites. Kalum is the nicest and the most genuine person we met in Sri Lanka (most people are pretty nice here already!), he care about our wellbeing from heart, also he arranged the tour for us so that we experience the most highlighted part of the sacred city ruin, took us to the bus station to make sure we get on the right bus…he so genuinely want us to have the best experience and share his knowledge with us. We feel so lucky to have stayed here, definitely recommend it to anyone who come to Anuradhapura!

Such a special and wholesome experience! The family went above and beyond to provide us with an exceptional service. The food and tea were delicious. We also got to experience a magical rooftop garden and organic homegrown veggies! Extremely clean. Hot water. They spoke english very well too! I had a teary saying goodbye

Really nice room, and friendly, extremely accommodating owners. A bit far away from the historical sites, but very close to the bus stand. Reasonably quiet though. And it is wonderful to come to a Buddhist place and stay with people who are truly devoted to the dharma

Arrived at Sacred because booked accommodation was spontaneously cancelled. Very warm welcome, amazing hosts and sparkling clean room + bathroom They offer all 3 meals, western or local version I can strongly recommend!

Calm environment inside the city. Friendly staff, clean place. Bit packed parking (but could manage) Satisfied with the price and value

We had a fantastic stay at this family-run place! Our hosts were super friendly and helped us organizing a sightseeing trip through Anuradhapura (by bicycle). The resort is located close to the New Town bus stop and 3km from the sacred city. Our room was clean, comfortable and quite spacious (although a bit noisy due to the Main Street). The bathroom was ok but after taking a shower we felt like being in a Finnish sauna. We especially enjoyed sitting on the rooftop terrace :-). We didn't have dinner or breakfast here but the guests we talked to praised the meals. In sum, this place offers really great value for your money! Thanks for everything!

A very pleasant location in the heart of the city. The rooms are clean and new. The owner is exceptionally kind, cooks delicious food and assisted us in exploring the local attractions. Highly recommended! :-)

The most magical family - we were invited into their home and treated as if we were family. The hotel is super clean, lovely beds everything you could want. Also the house has the most incredible garden which is so peaceful to be around. Yet you are in the middle of the city! I wish we got to stay longer!!!!
