Less crowded beach with lovely view ,can even see sunrise 🌅 by the beach. Room is quite okay moderately clean Hotel area densed with tree so it becomes a bit harder to dry your wet clothes. The only reason I didn't rate the star higher is because the smokers. I mean ..really!? we come to enjoy the holiday and get some fresh air ! And then we have to experience a bunch of European people smoking non stop from 5 am till night! Hotel should manage the smoking problem more seriously at least zoned them where everyone can live their life peacefully Not to mention the pile of cigarettes bud buried beneath the sand , its disgusting

My family and I went here this December 2022, it was for a birthday celebration. I really enjoyed the spacious room. My little brother loves to run a lot which is perfect. The staff is very accommodating. The room is clean and tidy. I recommend this to people who want to celebrate their birthdays or anniversaries. Or just be here for fun!

Great value for money. The atmosphere is good, with a nice beach and a nice restaurant. The staff are so nice and friendly. We will probably be back here. The rooms we’ve had were a bit far from the lobby so for the next time we’ll probably ask for closer rooms.

Let’s start with the good things, let’s say you get what you pay for. Standard rooms, nice staff and good location. But but but, there is a techno bar located next to and they play really really strong until late. For us there were a cleaning hub under our house. No sleep in the evening/nught and early up. We left . But this is a nice hotel with friendly staff. Koh samet is crowded and dirty, there are so many better places along the coast on the mainland

Their beachfront rooms are very good. Sadly the bar nearby blasting loud music until at least midnight. The beach in front is ok but there are better. Would comeback for views and quality of room. If it was not so loud at night i would stay there again for sure.

Great 3-star hotel with amazing landscaping and good restaurant. Coffee is not good, but you can order espresso for 65 bath. Not their fault, but a very loud disco/club next door! Impossible to sleep! No calm, ridiculous loud music all evening!!! Lots of mosquitoes.

Everything was great here: location, food and service. The only thing we were disappointed was that smoking is allowed everywhere in the restaurant. The restaurant itself is fantastic: good price, good food and great service. But as soon as a neighboring table has finished eating, they light cigarettes. Without considering other guests who are eating their food. disrespectful!

Food here is pretty great, came here after seeing some pictures of the pizza, which lived up to expectations. Highly recommend the Italian meat one, it was called the Del something. Also had the black pepper soft shell crab, first time I’ve had soft shell crab not deep fried and it was even better. They get packed but food came at a moderate pace, service was pretty good, I had to take off quick and I think they thought there was a problem, so sent out some white lady, I was just like, food was great just have to run to someplace haha, but appreciated the nice gesture. 100% would come back for more pizza

Relaxing stay, clean, good food. Its a very clean place and well equipped compared to other places in Thailand I stayed before. Pros: enough space at all, enough places on the beach, clear water, clean rooms, good breakfast, excellent restaurant. Cons: a bit rocky beach (walk 3 minutes to the right and enjoy a better one), russian families staying there may be a problem to some other guests, a nearby bar is pretty noisy in the evening until midnight. So I wouldn’t recommend it for a honeymoon, but between the weekends it’s a nice place to stay 3-5 nights.

It is a nice place. The food was great, with a large selection at both the breakfast bar and the restaurant: I, personally, had a nice time. However: there is an unusual amount of bugs in the rooms. The location is gorgeous, and although the walk up to some rooms is a touch long late at night when you're tired, it's really scenic and a lovely place. I wouldn't say I'll be rushing back, but I would certainly take the opportunity to stay again. Worth the trip, and the pros most certainly outweigh the cons. I wod recommend to anyone staying on Koh Samet.

Update: We stayed 3 nights and aside from a rainy day had a fabulous time. The food and cocktails are very good. All the staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. We spent the day time at the Reef Bar a short walk around the point to the next beach. Also operated by the hotel. This is a perfect spot and they are currently expanding & it will be a lovely beach club. Previous post: Quiet and beautiful location on a smaller beach not far from White Sand Beach. Rooms are comfortable, not modern but clean, well maintained and functional.

Pros: - Service was 10/10. - Awesome beach area. We had kids with us and they loved it. There are some fun rock pools/areas to snorkel and see some reef life! - Great restaurant at the resort and more great spots just a short walk away. - Rooms were comfortable and you're so close to the beach! - We rented motorcycles and rode the main road and loved stopping at all the different coves/sightseeing spots (see photos) Cons: - In the evenings the music from a neighboring resort was pretty loud (especially on the weekends) - There are pictures of a swimming pool on google, but there is no swimming pool. Overall, we loved our experience, and would love to return again!

Went to this place due to the giant Pizza signs. Waiter said we still had 20 minutes to order and confirmed they accepted American Express. Sat down and ordered only to be then told that Pizza was no longer being served and they don't actually take American Express. All delivered in a very unfriendly manner. Not sure if this was just a ploy to get us in ... guess it worked as we still paid $50 for a bottle of wine If it wasn't for Dee a more friendly waiter that served us in the end this place would have had 2 stars at best from us

Good breakfast. The small beach is way ti crowded and it took us a few days to find the other beach where they have a nice place serving lunches. BUT...The water comming down from the resorts above and ending up in the hotel bay smells awful!! That made it imposdible even considering stepping into the water. We found other beaches and really wonder how the brown water is handeld in that area?

A great welcome awaited us and our rooms were very spacious and clean. Air conditioning and ceiling fans were a welcome sight together with complimentary drinks. The setting is superb with many trees surrounding our traditional based rooms. Umbrellas and cushions and veranda seats were also included. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious and the service was always friendly, with a smile and 100% efficient. Would definitely stay at Semed Villas again. Thank you for a great holiday on Koh Semed!

The bungalow we stayed was great and roomy for five of us. The hotel has lots to improve on. The staff is not very friendly and the food is mediocre. The restaurant next door has a better selection and tastes much better. The beach is great and fun to play in but could use some cleanup by the staff of the hotel. We have travelled many places and the little and big things sure get left out with this hotel. I would stay somewhere else.

Large well maintained rooms with very friendly staff all around. The breakfast buffet was excellent and featured lots of various types of foods. Eggs, omelets with bacon cooked fresh and to order. The reception staff was excellent, especially June who provided exceptional and outstanding service addressing all of our needs. I heartily recommend a stay here. Very family friendly atmosphere in addition.

Can’t really rate the place as I haven’t stayed there nor eaten at the restaurant. I walked in at 9:10pm because of the amazing smell from the pizza oven. When I asked for a table I was told to come back tomorrow because the chef’s closing the kitchen… at the same time they were slicing up a pizza that just came out the oven. I guess it would have made everyone go home late to put one last pizza for us while the oven while still hot. I understand the island sleeps early, we came for holiday not retirement house.

    - All the staff. Waiters, waitresses are working hard but they always smile to all customers. - Environment-friendly vibes. I stayed deluxe sea view room. It was very satisfied. - Food & restaurant there delicious with reasonable price as well.

Great rooms in a very busy area packed very close to each other. The restaurant staff is exceptional and very helpful. However I had a major incident at my room and reported this to the front desk as I lost critical medication when put in the fridge due to a dripping fridge that neither housekeeper, minibar nor maintenance seem to have cared about. Front desk promised me that management will get back to me. Never heard from them so far. Now saying I didn't close the fridge door properly (which makes no sense at all) is just the business attitude that comes in line with my experience at this property. Sad to see that and I am used a more professional approach. During reservation process I indicated that I am a travel agent and I also left my business card. Hotel doesn’t seem to care at all. Due to this service attitude I won’t recommend the property and ask ppl to follow me for other hotels recommendations where a guest still matters

Excellent resort, right on the beach. Spent two nights in the garden villa. Rooms are clean, beds are super comfy and the AC is nice and cold. The food is also delicious at the resort and the breakfast has plenty to choose from.

Very disorganised at reception. Was given a wrong room to start with. Was sorted. No information given about the resort. Where to go what beach to use. We had to sort out ourselves. The rooms are average. The room service the same. The restaurant and food is superb. Great service.

We had dinner on the beach and found there was a big menu card with Thai and western dishes. Waiters were kind and reasonably fast but would not allow us to move tables even before we ordered... The food was nice without leaving a big impression. Location on the beach was good though it is what it is to sit on plastic chairs for dinner. We might go again as the food was nice and selection big, but we probably wouldn't seek it out.

Do not stay here. Thieves work at this resort. Someone from cleaning staff stole my Sunglasses from my room.

Samed Villa Resort is a great choice for travelers looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay on Koh Samet. The resort is located in a quiet area of the island, which offers a peaceful escape from the crowds and noise of other areas. The accommodations at the resort are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The staff are friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The resort offers a variety of activities and amenities to keep guests entertained, including a swimming pool, a restaurant serving delicious Thai and international cuisine, and a massage service. The resort's beachfront location is also a big plus, allowing guests to easily access the island's stunning beaches and clear blue waters. One of the standout features of the resort is the excellent service provided by the staff. They are always willing to help with anything guests need, from arranging transportation to recommending local attractions and activities. Overall, I would highly recommend Samed Villa Resort to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay on Koh Samet. The resort's location, amenities, and excellent service make it a great choice for travelers of all kinds

Great place for your holiday. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was an absolute pleasure staying there. The beach and food are great and you can hire motor scooters there near the shop for a very reasonable price. We loved our time there.

Great breakfast. The small room is really small. Beach also small. Walking distance from Saikaew. Silver sand music disturbs until 11 pm.

Rude arrogant staff. Sent one email and then cancelled a booking with no further calls or contact. In response to your reply The rooms WERE NOT fully booked. I booked in July 2022!! An email was sent to me that read "your booking is confirmed" in red I was sent only 1 email with now follow up. At the very bottom I was asked for a deposit. I missed the email and come December was left with no booking and no option to book any where else.
