Very, VERY GOOD fresh fried chicken. We weren’t that hungry but the smell in the street grabbed our attention and we had to order it. The sweet spicy sauce is perfect with the crispy fried chicken. As usual, the seasonings at the table included peanuts. Dip the chicken in the sauce and cover it with the peanuts, you are welcome! Best part: 60 bahts (less than 2€) for the dish. Almost half the price of other places on Phi Phi.

By far best restaurant on the island. Take the spicy fried chicken salad, no other place in Thailand has it so tasty as far as I know. The lady is both lovely and grumpy and makes you throwback at the times in which you came back to school and you mum made lunch to you! Big Chang beer 70 ฿??? Omg

THE best place to eat on Phi Phi. The food is great and prepared by Mom (hence the name), you can choose a vegetarian or meat version for basically every dish and it's super cheap and delicious. In addition to the great meals they also have the best veggie spring rolls I have ever eaten and amazing fried chicken buckets, also very cheap. I also love their papaya salad. There is literally no downside to eating at this place. The owners and one of their moms (I assume) run this restaurant themselves and are super nice. You can get more sauce, free peanuts etc etc. Either order takeaway and eat at the beach or sit down, grab a beer from the cooler and watch the people going by. I walked halfway across the island everyday just to eat there, so definitely come and try it out when you're on Phi Phi.

Tasty! Cheap! And fast :) We passed by this spot so many times and didn’t think about getting in because of its simple looks but we were mistaken- best schnitzel ever!!! And for a very affordable price :)

The fried chicken with spring roll cup is AMAZING. It’s like 50 baht and it’s some of the best fried chicken you’ll have. And it’s hot and fresh out the fryer every time. Definitely mom stuff!

Cheap food, good serving size. Vegan friendly just use google translate so easy. Place looks dirty and saw reviews of food poisoning but don’t be turned off. Food fresh and clean. You just can’t see the other Thai kitchens behind closed doors haha

Super delicious fresh cooked meals at such a great price! The food is authentic and they cook it up fresh right there, and the dishes arrived so quickly! The spring rolls are simple with rice noodles and carrots but they were crispy and the sauce gave it the perfect amount of tang. The fried chicken was everything you’d want; crispy, hot, juicy and fresh. The stir fried noodles are thick, full of flavor and had a soft texture that i enjoyed, paired with shrimp. It’s just a little place on the side of the road, but it’s worth popping in! We came here for lunch and I would happily recommend it for any travelers or person looking for something delicious and affordable!

Gotta hand it to this mom and daughter duo... the fried chicken and spring rolls really hit the spot! Love it that they have the funny name, makes this really humble place feel memorable and authentic. Simple food, hole in the wall feel, and unbeatable price. Loved it! Helllooooooo mom!

Came here for the cheap prices. Was delighted by the fact that so many things could be made vegetarian. Amazing green curry and Thai omelette! Food was made rapidly as well!

Good example of hole in the wall place making great food. While not always a guarantee, this place is classic example. Fried chicken perfectly crispy on outside, tender inside. Nice sweet chili dipping sauce. Very cheap, $3usd. It's hot to sit inside but grab a cold water cuz it's worth it.

Most food fills the belly. This food fills the heart. The owner owns a couple of other retail businesses in the area yet runs this joint for long hours. The homely 'sit down and let me feed you' feel was not lost on us tired and hungry travellers. Highly recommended.

Found this hole in the wall. We came here because the food was cheap. 80 baht for papaya salad and 100 baht for the spicy fried chicken salad. There are four tables, so it is limited seating. But it's not a place where you linger to enjoy the nice atmosphere. It was real Thai Mamma cooking. My husband said it was the best fried chicken he has had. We look forward to trying more food here!

A small place but very hygienic and yummy food at reasonable price. Everything we ate was delicious. The Fried chicken is the best.

We got in, sat down for a few minutes and left again. Surprisingly the owner wasn’t nice to us at all, she looked very grumpy/was unwelcoming. Furthermore, the reason we left was because, added to this, she put on the fan which created an extremely dense, nasty smell (maybe bad meat?). So I would say, don’t sit at the table all at the back. Hope you have a nice experience like many other people that gave 5 stars!

This is one of the few places in Phi Phi where you can eat insanely cheap! The owner is such a lovely lady and I would come back here only for that even. The food is delicious! I had fried chicken with rice and had a tasty sauce with it.

I love this shop, came back at least daily because mama knows what's best! The fried chicken and the spring rolls are simply amazing. For sure the best we've eaten so far. Ever dish is available for vegetarians as well and everything is so cheap!
