This is where my surfing adventure started. I had an amazing time. Everything is well organized, very comfortable and safe. A beautiful and atmospheric rooftop on which delicious Moroccan meals are served (in large amounts 😋). The team is very friendly, smiling and helpful! Great surf and yoga teachers. Highly recommended, I would love to come a second time 😍

This trip has exceeded my expectations. I came here with my 9yo son to experience surf for the first time and to get my head away from work and disconnect. What I found was more than I was looking for. Amine and the rest of the team made us feel at home. Everything was on point: location, comfort, fun, activities, treatment, food.. I couldn't ask for a better way to spend our holidays. Can't wait for my friends to join the experince and come back together!

A mixed review! Overall I had a great time at Chilloutsurf but there are a few things to draw attention to. The 'hostel' is very different from advertised (eg photos on Google/website) - the ones shown online are from the old hostel sight and the new one is a plywood construction and very basic. When I was shocked that it was so different the host, Amine, said a lot of people thought this and said that he could refund me. I thought it would be too difficult to find somewhere else last minute so paid an extra $20 per night to be in a mobile home 'bungalow' which was much nicer. However, the location on the beach is perfect for going in/out the water and the other travellers at the hostel were a great bunch and we had a lot of fun. The surf instructing was quite basic (more left to practice alone) but that is to be expected. We also did some yoga (amazing!) and visited local places (eg hammam) which are all short taxi drives away

Our group had an incredible experience at Chillout Surf in Morocco! The laid-back atmosphere perfectly complemented the thrilling waves of the Atlantic. What made our group's time truly fun and joyful were the two surfing instructors, both Mohmads. Their expertise and passion for surfing were evident from the beginning. The Mohmads were not only skilled instructors but also great motivators, making the learning process enjoyable and accessible for surfers of all levels. Their personalized approach ensured that everyone in the group received individual attention and tailored guidance, and their enthusiasm for the sport created a positive and encouraging environment, making each session not just about learning to surf but also about embracing the joy of riding the waves. From the moment we arrived, everything was well-coordinated. Chillout Surf's commitment to good transportation was evident in their punctuality, always picking up the group on time, and patiently waiting for everyone. The comfortable rides to different surfing destinations added to the overall convenience and enjoyment of the experience. The food provided was simple yet delicious, reflecting the local flavors of Morocco. It was evident that they took care to cater to various preferences and dietary needs. Whether it was a lunch at the beach between surf sessions or a hearty dinner after a day in the waves, the food was a delightful part of the overall experience. We had a great surfcamp with the family! Great and helpful instructors, good value for money, authentic and good local cuisine. Next to the surfinstructions, we had the opportunity to do visits to eg Paradise Valley and Agadir Souk. Highly recommended.

Very cool experience! I will definitely recommend it to all my friends! 💕 Every day there were surf lessons with the private instructor, which is great because then they could focus on just the two of us. We learned the art of surfing in one week 🏄‍♀️ People were very friendly and helpful. Apart from the surfing lessons, there were also visitations to some other places like Paradise Valley. Yoga classes were very relaxing 🧘‍♀️The food was various, but rather there were more vegetables. The camp was in a good location near the beach and the rooms were good and clean. All this experience was very cheap as well! ❤️

The Best Vacation Of My life I can not describe it with words - it were the best 2 weeks of my life. Amin, Abdulah, Zach, Chaimae & Khadija are not only hosts, they were my water family in Taghazout and stole my heart from the very first moment. Great hospitality, funny various activities from visiting hamam together or a traditional market, partying in Agadir, giving you a feeling of belonging and sharing so much about the culture and history of Marocco. The surf instructors are competent, pay attention to you and advice you within your journey on the surf board. Every single person of the Chillout team is welcoming you with open hearts and arms and transform each moment in magic. The excursions to Paradise valley, sand boarding and the surfer village Imsouane were organized greatly and highly recommend them. I have enjoyed amazing Yoga sessions with Khalid, who is a professional sport instructor and support you with stretching and breathing exercises to achieve the best mental and physical fitness for surfing. The yoga sessions take place weather on the amazing terrace with a view to the ocean or at the beach during sunset. I only can recommend you Chillout as surfer home and I know "I will be back"

We stumbled across Chillout whilst walking around Taghazout to find a group to go surfing with. We spoke to quite a few different places, but these guys sounded the best, also the most reasonably priced! They got us on a guided surfing day with the rest of their guests with about 12 hours notice, really relaxed vibes in the morning getting all the gear together, then took us all to Anza for a day of surfing. The instructors are all amazing, decent, fun warm up on the beach first, a little coaching on the beach, then in for what was the best surf we've had for a long time! These guys will always find the best possible surf spot to take you each day, they put alot of care into making sure guests get the best experience with them. We enjoyed it so much that we joined them for another couple of days! Although we were staying at a different accommodation, they still made us feel part of the chillout family straight away, even picking us up and dropping us back to our accommodation. Although we didnt stay with them, all the guests we met had nothing but good things to say about staying with them as well. We'll definitely be back next year for a full week there, can't recommend enough! Huge thanks Amin, Zach and the rest of the Chillout crew!

I stayed a week at Chillout Surf with a rad group of friends and ended up making more along the way! I got a pickup from the airport when I arrived late and we were driven to and from the beach everyday! The food was amazing served morning and night! Lots of great VEGETARIAN options. The camp was very clean and spacious! You could see the ocean from the rooftop! I had never really surfed before, and they had me catching waves in Imsouane! I had an amazing time! Great coaches, great hospitality! Great people! Very accommodating!

Both me and my friend Leticia looked at a lot of reviews before choosing a surf camp. We chose the village of Taghazout because it is a safe place, full of surfers and really nice to walk around or go out for a drink and with some nightlife. In the end we chose Chillout and it was a great choice. Starting with the manager, Amine, very attentive, friendly, always making sure everything goes well and helping in any situation. We were really impressed, we were his priority. Chaimae the animatrice is great, a friend inside the surfcamp, it's great to share with a local like her that experience. Asis, the surf instructor, a marvel. We learned a lot, always on the line up with us helping us and surfing with us. Top lvl. The hostel is very cosy and clean and the food is EXCELLENT with capital letters. It will be hard to forget those breakfasts, crazy. The hostel staff is super friendly, special mention to my friend Obama, if you read this, I hope to see you soon my friend. Conclusion, the best review is that we will be back 100%.

I arrived on a late flight and the host insisted on picking me up late at night, so i won't wait in the airport. The food is great and diverse, made by the private cook in the surf house. Clean and tidy and spacious rooms. The staff answered to my every need with a smile and a great service. The vibe is really chill. Great company with the staff and the guests. Very good surf instructions. I was able to make some progress since i was allowed to use the equipment for as long as i want ! Overall a great experience. I will surely come back to chillout surf ! 😁

Amazing week in Morocco thanks to Chilloutsurf. My friends and I had the best time of our life that was realised thanks to this great staff. Chaimae has been always by our side guiding us through the Maroccan culture, Ismael the big smiling guy will just give you positive energy, Wafa will always help you out, Roshdi and Hamada are two amazing surfers that will give you tips on your technique and showing the best surf spots in Morocco and last but no least Abdullah that feed our stomach everyday with delicious food. We have been there one week ago and we already miss it so much. The staff of the hostel were always fantastic with us. No longer staff, they became friends. Always trying to make our stay confortable, funny, safe.... We would definetly recommend it to everyone and, in fact, we are already trying to settle up another date to repeat the experience. The comunication viaWhatsApp was always easy and the price was just perfect since the very first moment. The surf instructors helped us a lot and they showed us a lot of new techniques (even when some of us have been surfing for a while already) and they were always helping us improve. Thank you to Hamada and Roshni, the best instructors in town!!! Also, Chaima, the PR staff, always made sure that we got what we needed, thank you so much!! About the facilities of the hostel, everything was always so clean,food was always amazing thanks to the hard work of the cookers(we will miss your food and also your charisma Abdullah!! A guy who always smile and who loves his work, a truly inspiration). And there's still a lot of people to thank for this wonderful experience we never thought we would have in Marocco, it was way higher to our expectations: Wafa, the other amazing cooker whose name I'm unable to write, Ismail the great driver who always helped us even for the most complicated rides, the two boss that were very nice with us and that made our stay funnier, and so many more... We are truly thankful for this experience at chillout hostel in tanghazout, we cannot wait to come there again and see our awesome friends.

Had an amazing time in Chilloutsurf Hostel!! We spent a week with my friends and couldn't have asked for a better experience! Everybody was super kind, friendly, and helpful! We had so much fun hanging out with them, surfing together, and eating (the food was amazing!). Taghazout is a super safe town, full of surfers and locals, everyone is so welcoming. A special thanks to Chaimae who was an excellent host, Hamada for his patience and positive vibe during our surf lessons, and of course to all the staff that made our stay so special.
