I had the best time ever at Solid Surf house! The staff is super super friendly and welcoming, you feel so comfortable and everything is taken care of so well. The food was AMAZING (I will miss it a lot) and also the surfing was very professional and fun. Rooms are very clean and the entire house is super pretty. Will definitely come back!!

I had an amazing time in Solid Surf. The house is super pretty, the yoga classes in the morning with the sound of the ocean and birds is a must. The surf classes are also great and be ready to laugh a lot with the Instructors. The staff is amazing and what to say about the food just DELICIOUS. We had a great experience at solid surf. The staff were excellent and reached out in advance of our arrival, assisting with transfers to and from the airport. We had a lovely time meeting other guests and wish we were there for longer. The surf and yoga instructors were very friendly and catered to people of varying experience levels.

Can’t recommend Solid Surf enough… the house is amazing and there was a great vibe during the time we stayed, the selection of beaches, surf equipment, entertainment, food and the training offered is great. The team are all super friendly and happy to help but star of the show has to be Jamila who keeps the place running smoothly and ensures everyone is smiling and happy… will definitely be back!

I stayed for a week in the Surf House. The staff is very friendly, they will be there to help you to enjoy your stay with anything they can help you. The house is very clean and well equipped also, they do daily activities for all the guests. Huge appreciation also for the people cooking, the food was very good and they were taking care of all special needs.

I can totally recommend going to this Surf camp. I really enjoyed my time here and everyone was so welcoming, even travelling alone, I met a lot of amazing people! They clean the room daily and the food was really good too!!☺️

Blew my expectations out of the water, everyone was so friendly, the staff were fantastic and the food was fantastic. Everything was super clean across the whole location and as a solo female traveller I felt very safe and comfortable. They’re is so much on offer and I learnt so much from the instructors and the yoga teacher. I would highly recommended this place for anyone.

I had an amazing stay at Solid Surf Morocco! When I arrived the staff were super welcoming and made you feel at home, the guys were organized and let you know the time of breakfast, dinner, surf and yoga and showed you your room, the rooms were amazing and clean. The atmosphere in the house was relaxed and surf guides took you out to the best beaches and helped you catch the waves and improve your technique. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I had a great week at Solid! First and foremost the hosting was top notch. The staff was so nice and all our wishes were taken into account. The food was delicious and there weren’t any major problems with the room service either. As a first-time surfer I feel like I really got the hang of surfing with Solid. The surf instructors were laid-back fellas with great tips for catching the waves.

Amazing house, amazing staff and amazing people. Jamila the host is the sweetest, like a mother to everyone, making you feel truly welcome. Clean room every day, delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Every day to a new surf point with van and all the material for the best waves. From beginner to pros, video analysis, good training and tips in and out of the water. Really amazing all around!!

This was my first Trip to a Surf Camp and I all I can say is it was really perfect. The Staff ist very welcoming and loving. You feel immediately welcomed and cared for. The Excursions were well planned, reasonably priced and well executed. All the guides have a great sense of humour and will always be on your side from the beginnings on your board on land until your first green wave. All in all I could wholeheartedly recommend this to any and everybody.

A friend of mine and me spent 1 week here and it was fantastic! The staff and the instructors were great, they really helped us improve our skills while having a lot of fun with us also outside the water. Also can only recommend the additional trips offered (sand dunes and souk which were also great value for money). I can only recommend spending your surf holiday here.

I had an incredible experience at this surf lodge in Taghazout! The three freshly prepared meals by chefs were amazing as well. The organized surf trips led by knowledgeable locals were a highlight, providing not just great material for surfing but also an authentic insight into the local scene. A perfect blend of excellent food, expertly organized surf trips, and a wonderful ambiance – highly recommended!

I had the best time at Solid - I think it was better than I imagined it could be! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, the house is beautiful and well cared for, the surf lessons are amazing, the organised trips are so fun. Jamila and Hafida always made everyone feel so welcomed, and I loved the family feel of the house ☺️ the food is so good everyday too - lunch at the beach was always great and the breakfasts/dinners are so tasty. The surf lessons were so so good - all of the instructors are so patient as well as friendly and funny, and I can’t believe I went from never having surfed before to green waves before I left! They really give you confidence to be in the water and improve your technique. Spending New Year here was really magical, what a way to start the year…I can’t wait to book again to come back ☺️

We organized a university trip here and had the whole house for outselves. The week was perfect with amazing staff, great surf and chill vibe. Food was amazing and everyone so nice we would love to come again. Solid surf house offered nice extra trips which we enjoyed very much. Location is a bit far since there’s not much close by but we always got taxis and rides so it worked really well for a big group!

I was in the hostel at the beginning of the first Covid lockdown. One morning we had to leave the hostel. I had booked and paid for a longer time. After the Covid situation eased up a bit, I asked for a refund or voucher. First they claimed they will find a solution and get back to me. After I got in touch six months later my messages were deliberately ignored. After that I wrote several Emails and WhatsApp messages - most of them unanswered. One and a half years after my first message the founder of Solid wrote "that there is no need to stress about it" and that she would issue me a voucher, which of course I have not received. The bottom line is that it is neither humane nor professional to deliberately ignore messages and to not take actions at all. I would not recommend Solid to anyone.

The house was amazing and so were the surf and yoga teachers and the food! We loved our stay at Solid and will surely come back

It's the third time that I have come to the Solid Surf House and it has continously delivered in terms of a great location, excellent food and lovely staff. Thanks Mehdi for showing us the best surf spots along the coast, thanks Assma for the company and support at all times and thanks to all the others that made this last stay such a beautiful time.

Very nice surf hostel. The staff for cooking and cleaning work really hard and are very welcoming. The hosts are sometimes busier socializing and hanging around than being a professional. I would not call this a boutique hotel but a youth hostel with options for private bedroom. Cinema is a flatscreen in the livingroom, meals are healthy and vary day to day. Surf instructors should get a raise, they are amazing. Hope to come back here someday!

Beautiful house which is good for socialising. The staff is really helpful and kind! You definitely will enjoy your surf holiday heren.

We had high hopes since some of our group had already been here, but unfortunately we were disappointed. The double room was basic but ok, the bathroom is nice but there was no single hook or possibility to hang clothes and let them dry properly. The house itself is beautiful and the staff was very nice, but their communication needs improvement, you'd get different informations about food/surf lessons/activities depending on who you ask. Communication is an issue, we were told not to drink the tap water which made me criticize some of the food preparations in my initial review. The owner tnow told me that the tap water is ok to drink. That's really good, but I got the opposite info there and bought water every day. The house is in Tamraght, which is a small village on a hill without much going on (also no ATM). I thought Taghazout Bay was in Taghazout, but got that wrong, so nobodys's fault really, just some info to consider. The Yoga deck and the lessons are very nice, but the surf lessons are less organized. Way too many people with not enough teachers, leaving late for the beach, starting the session late and cutting it much shorter than expected. Partly due to a recent storm the beach conditions allow less surfing, but also there was a lot of waiting around on the beach, dressed and warmed up, teacher showed up half an hour later but wanted everybody to stay then and warm up together since "that's my job". So essentially instead of 2h lessons plus free surf in the afternoon we basically hat around 1-2h free surf with warmup and the occasional tip. (We did do a good theory lesson for the beginners and one evening of video analysis though). The people who had been at Solid before were quite disappointed, apparently the quality of teaching was much lower than in the years before . Same thing for food and service. We spoke to the guy in charge (filling in for the owner) who said he was sorry, but didn't really do anything about it. The actual owner reached out now to talk about the problems. 15 out of 16 people got sick because of ecoli bacteria, this is NOT the fault of the surf house but a general issue in this region if you wanna surf since sewage ends up in the ocean. Seems to be more of a problem in certain months, so do some research if you wanna go.

Our stay was very special. The house is beautiful, with a stunning sea view and amazing local cooked food. Ayoub and the solid’s team are very friendly and they make you feel at home. You can enjoy surf morning lessons with great instructors and evening yoga looking at the sunset by the sea. Highly recommended to visit the paradise valley doing the full hike. Tamraght is a very special village, you can really enjoy the slow pace of life in an authentic place far from being just another crowded tourist spot. Thank you for making our stay beautiful!

We had a nice and comfortable stay. We stayed there for week and the room, the food and the personnel were very good. It was clean and spacious. The food was plenty and diverse (also for vegatarians). The staff is very helpful friendly. Everything wich promised in the ads was excecuted accordingly.

Really nice and comfortable location. Amazing food with private chef every day preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner, mixing local and international food. Also, very useful for surf beginners with morning lessons and more practice every afternoon with teachers moving with us to find every day best spot according to sea/wind conditions (if I were alone that's would be tricky)

We had a wonderful stay at Solid in Morocco. Everything is organised for you so you don’t have to worry about anything. The accommodation itself is lovely, the private room we stayed in was well equipped with everything you could need. The staff are all amazing. Stefania was extremely kind, helpful and would do anything to help. The food was all delicious. Can’t wait to go back!

My stay at the hostel was excellent. From the friendly and helpful staff to the clean and comfortable rooms, everything was top-notch. The staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating. I enjoyed the live music night, it was fun and relaxing and the food was delicious. Overall, my stay at this hostel was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. The staff, the amenities, the rooms, and the overall atmosphere were all excellent. I would stay here again without hesitation.

I've had an incredible stay at the surf house! The drivers, cooks, hostesses and instructors and other staff were amazing! Perfect for a week of solo traveling and learning to surf. The house is beautiful and the food is delicious. The other travelers were very nice and made the stay a lot of fun! Highly recommended. Shukran!
