This is NOT a five-star hotel. It was fine, but no more. The grounds are the highlight - beautifully designed and maintained. The beach is nothing special - clean but loud and not especially pretty. The room was decent, though the hotel advertised a “complimentary mini bar” with our suite, which turned out to be an empty refrigerator. Service was lacking in the rooms and at the pool. On day one, we left at 9am and came back to the room at 5pm to find it not cleaned. Reception said I needed to affirmatively ask them to service the room. That was a first for me, and not something I expected at a place where I paid US$1,500/night. Staff at the “adult” pool were inattentive and never came by - we had to chase them down and even then they did not help us. Most disappointing, there is a vibe here that “Westerners” are not welcome. I wish I had stayed elsewhere.

They are serving wine and beers in glasses of plastic!! and whiskey in glasses of water !! i find this really unusual, unprofessional and inappropriate. half of the menu is not existing, most of the costumers was clearly unsatisfied with that service which is not compatible with the level given for that hotel. not recommended !!

Wonderful experience at Fairmont Hotel Taghazout where we stayed for two nights. The hotel's infrastructure is new, everything is clean and well-maintained. The garden is also beautiful. The rooms are spacious, bright, and the sea-view room is absolutely incredible. The buffet breakfast was abundant, complete, and delicious. Special mention to the pastries, which we found particularly delightful. Kudos to the entire Fairmont team for the welcoming hospitality and this unforgettable stay. We'll be back

We had an amazing time at this luxury Fairmont facility in Agadir, Morocco. The amenities, the service and the staff were superb. I would like to extend a special thanks to Abdullah id Balla who helped ensure my family was served at breakfast. He was very very friendly each day along with Chebani Hicham who showed us more amazing things about the hotel. He was super friendly too . Hanan, who cleaned our room each day, cleaned it more professionally than we have experienced before. All these things have made sure that the Fairmont will be at the top of the list of our places to stay when we come back to Agadir again.

A very calming place to be, it’s difficult to get more relaxed than this. The ocean and beach are so close to each other, and the food is good on the resort. It’s not as easy to venture off the resort like other stays but the desire to leave isn’t very high. The Japanese restaurant is beyond expectations, thanks to Brahim and all the staff it was a beautiful experience.

Loved this beautiful property. The room, the staff and the gardens were truly five star. The beach and pool were ideal, very comfortable. The only thing they really need to improve is the food. Breakfast was lovely but buffet ends up being bulk and not true five star quality. Stick to the moroccan items. Also the room service I know it’s very expensive but not special. Assorted ice cream off the menu was just two balls of vanilla wrapped in tin foil. Odd presentation (and no mint or a berry or anything) just adding that here so they work on it. Also quality of Morocco cookies in room service, I had better everywhere else on my trip. But really stay was amazing otherwise, our five nights went by so quickly. We enjoyed having our car so we could go around town. Best coffee shop was one road down called daydream home goods. Best coffee and bought more items at this store than anywhere (well chosen and actual marked prices!). Special shout out to Sufjan the parking guy at the front gate he was especially lovely. Thanks again.

We spent one week of vacation in the hotel and had a very nice experience. We received an upgrade to a private villa with our own pool in front of the house. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even before we arrived by planning our arrival and during the stay with WhatsApp based buttler service. We would like to thank especially Oumayma and Youssef for their great help during our stay. Besides hosting a big wedding, the hotel made sure that we received good service and attention. On our last day at the hotel our daughter received a very nice birthday surprise from the hotel to make it a memorable day. Thanks!

Extremely nice hotel with super nice garden. Service was excellent and always kind and friendly. i was in January 2023 and perfect for relaxing with less guests. Private beach with maximum of privacy. Agadir is approx 20 min away by taxi. 4 Stars for place just because you need to organize transport to go outside of hotel.

The best hotel so far in this area. I got the best room service. Everybody was more than kind and the facilities are awesome. I would recommend booking a session in the gym. Breakfast is spectacular. I should say they upgraded our room and it was a nice touch.

Peaceful and relaxing hotel in a lovely ocean front location. Rooms are spacious and well appointed in keeping with five star property. Bicycles and surf boards available. Dining options are limited. The Beeef Reef restaurant was my only bad experience - reasonable food, but very poor service. The Japanese restaurant is excellent, great food and service. Highlight is the Commons breakfast buffet. This breakfast space is wonderful with great views from inside and outside spaces, and offers an amazing range of food including fresh hot items cooked to order. Great Moroccan specialities. The entire staff in the breakfast team are efficient and welcoming. A special mention is warranted of Rita ( Jhita) who is extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable and welcoming and who’s beautiful smile is a great start to the day.

This resort is a paradise. It has everything you will need for a weekend away or a family vacation. I came here for the first time with my wife, and we've had the time of our lives. The views were amazing, and the beach bar is to die for. The food is sensational, 3 restaurants to choose from so you can never be bored. The most important thing is the service and staff.. friendly and the southern moroccan hospitality is second to none. The staff are all locals and honestly enjoy making your stay as fun and relaxing as possible. It's definitely a go-to destination if you want to escape the routine/busy life.

I had a wonderful experience at the Fairmont Taghazout Bay . Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Ghizlane the housekeeper did such a good job looking after my room (3210) every single day of my stay there , as well as being friendly and respectful . I am very satisfied with her job ! I would highly recommend her to the guests .

Beautiful hotel which is great for couples, friends and families alike. The hotel has a private beach, 4 swimming pools (one adult only), a playground for children and a kids club (did not use this service). When the weather was about 24 degrees Celsius or below, we found two of the family pools were slightly cold, but there was always one which was warm enough for the children to play in. There is a surf shop at the beach which provides lessons, board hire etc. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Facilities are clean. The food at all 3 restaurants is great. Usually only 2 restaurants provide dinner but it was the end of Ramadan during our stay so a third restaurant provided dinner. If you wish to try Moroccon food you can speak to the team at Beef and Reef who can accommodate this with advanced notice. We had an excellent time with our kids.

The service is excellent at the hotel. Souad at the commons was so attentive, kind, friendly, and makes sure any and all of your needs were met! The spa services were amazing, including Hasnaa, Sanaa, and Salma at the hammam. Zineb’s massage was to die for. Overall the staff is very friendly, welcoming and make you feel very comfortable! I really recommend this place. If you have time to visit the spa, ask for Sanaa, she will make sure you will be taken care of. The front desk at the spa take their time to explain all of the services they offer and make excellent recommendations. The manager Samir was very welcoming when we first arrived. The staff at the pool Mehdi and Absellam and others (sorry can’t remember everyone’s name) were helpful, courteous and friendly with excellent service. I almost felt like your needs were met before you even knew you needed them! Food and drinks were also delicious 🤤 Overall, the whole stay was so relaxing and refreshing 😊. 10/10 would recommend.

Am excellent place to be for family, couple and friends getaway. We went with kids and the stay was amazing, great landscape, excellent pools clean and have all options for kids and adults The kids club was great with very helpful and considering staff who took good care of our kids and entertained them with different activities( candy hunting, coloring, puzzles….) Room was exquisite with fabulous garden, they have even provided bathrobes with the correct age/size for all of us 🙏🏻 The staff are very helpful and professional from front desk to bellboys waiters and lifeguards they were all amazing with kids. They had variety of food that tastes really good 🤤 with kids menu even a moroccan donut (sfenj) live cooking for breakfast 🤩 I highly recommend it if you want a heaven like vacation for you amd your family.

The hostess Hajar is such a sweet and amazing person they made us feel very welcome, and there was love Music playing which made the settings 100% more unique from other restaurants visited. Also food is amazingggggg

We spent 3 nights for our honeymoon and we had wonderful time. The rooms were spacious and very cozy the bath and shower area as well. The attention to detail and the service from reception to dining was immaculate. Special thanks to Yamna our house keeper, she is such a sweetheart and made us feel at home.

Staying here was truly a magical experience. I had been touring morocco for three weeks. This place was the perfect end to a perfect trip. Everything about the hotel was beautiful. The property is exquisite but what truly made my stay was the heartwarming staff who made it feel like home. Special thanks to Naeema whose contagious smile and positive energy immediately set the mood for the day. Reception staff including Hisham, Sameer and Saeed were outstanding and ensured our stay was as comfortable as possible. Pool and beach staff including Abdulali and Yousef were a delight to meet and chat to. They ensured all of our needs were met. I cannot wait to come back to this enchanting place in Agadir.

The hotel is new and the decor is elegant, the pool is nice and there is an adult pool as well. The spa is just heavenly. our room was very comfy. The reception team made sure we were very well taken care of. But for me highlight was a restaurants,very goid service exceptional food.

Not a 5☆ quality hotel at all. In fact look elsewhere. We arrived at check-in, the check-in staff were bewildered and running around, as if there were a massive amount of ppl checking in, there we 2. Finally we get given the keys and come to the room, 1 towel for my wife and I. After calling multiple times, the staff finally bought towels. We had to literally beg every day for correct amount of towels. Room service Cleaning was normally at about 3-5pm The grounds are ok, the rooms spacious but nothing to write home about. The management is clueless on how to run an hotel effectively, the staff smell bad and give a feeling of being dirty. For the price I paid, I would not even give a star if it were possible Avoid this hotel if you want a 5☆ experience Some things cannot be made up. I was reviewing my credit card statement and noticed a $845 charge on my credit card from the fairmont hotel. I was very confused as I paid $$$$ for my stay and know that all charges where paid for. When I called the hotel they told me the following: we charged you because you didn’t pay for the massages that THEIR MANAGER gifted us as compensation for some very unpleasant experiences during our stay. In additional we seemingly took towels or some robes and wait it gets better. Because we wrote a negative review. I mean so much for customer service. You charge a customer because you're upset that they didn’t pay something that was gifted by the hotel and they wrote a negative review? And add to it an allegation??? One would think that the fairmont hotel has more common decency than to treat customers this way. Instead of reaching out to us and asking us how they can compensate for our unpleasant experience that we shelled out $thousands they go and swipe my card! You really can’t make this stuff up. Now let’s see once they see this review what they charge on my card and let’s see how this story ends.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely hotel resort. All the staff were so nice and friendly. From Hassan at the front desk to Abdellah Id Balla (5 stars) who always greeted us so kindly and gave us great service every morning at breakfast.

Fairmont Taghazout bay is one of the best five star hotel in Morocco and in Africa in general. Rooms and services are better more than you think. Beach and the atmosphere in it's location are amazing and incredible. The Hotel is in Taghazout. Taghazout is one of the best places all people around the world are hungry to visit.

The location is fairy , the staff team is very professional and nice, the night activities and music band are really cool and the food tried Asian restaurant as well as the beef beef they just delicious ! & been practicing yoga in the studio at the hotel as well as on the beach …Honestly I had an amazing time can’t wait to visit back !

We enjoyed the whole experience. You really can get away of it all here and take time to relax. The whole resort and the rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The ocean view is just breathtaking. The facilities were great (yoga studio, jacuzzi, sauna...) Beautiful and quiet place.

Fantastic escape from Marrakech with the family for the weekend. Enjoyed every bit of it especially the trendy F&B complemented by very personalized service by all team members. View of the beach is best to none with a huge area of the clean beach right in front of the hotel. Great for family escapes!
