Have I mentioned how incredibly AWESOME all of Cary & Apex’s parks are???! 🤣👍 This playground was all themed like a Railroad Train Station! Super cool and very creative! Love it! You could tell a lot of thought went into this playground. 😁👍👍 This park was just beautiful too. Had so many beautiful plants, flowers, and trees growing all around the playground. I love it when cities take the extra time and put forth the effort to really beautify their parks and playground areas with eye-pleasing landscaping. 😊👍👍 Salem Pond Park is such a nice park and playground and well worth the visit if you have little ones. 😁👍👍

We enjoyed this park with the railroad theme and the soccer field. There is also a half mile walking trail. Parking is easy and it is very close to the Wake Zone coffee shop.

Great place for family to hang out. Pond and surrounding trail. Kids play area - train theme. Has swings. Soccer place. Ample parking space. Good walking area. Missing restrooms, if some one could find one please post a reply. Thanks.

Great place to walk the dogs and enjoy views of pond and sky. Trail is 0.5 mile circuit. Playground and soccer fields. Ample parking.

Beautiful little trail around the pond for walking your dog. Lots of opportunities to see turtles. There appears to be a new kids play park and a football field coming up soon.

An excellent place to take your small kids. Also has a nice loop trail there.

We always enjoy our visit to Salem Park. It has a newish playground and a large astroturf, which seems accessible to the general public all day. One can enjoy a half a mile walk around the 2 lakes to observe the abundant turtles in the pond or perhaps spot a few birds.

It is a small park, has a well maintained soccer field, railroad theme kids play area, a trail around two small ponds. Ponds have turtles, small mammals etc. Restrooms are at the entrance of the park. Enough parking available.

Small but good condition turf field for soccer or lacrosse, walking trail, few picnic tables, and playground. Field lights shut off at 8:45 PM. The ladies’ bathroom very rarely has soap.

Nice park. Nice little walking trail, and I loved the cushioned playground floor. Every parent there was very friendly and considerate. I love when parents tell their older kids to be careful around babies. I LOVE IT!

Salem Pond park is an excellent place for easy recreation. They have a public park, soccer field, and 0.5 mile loop surrounding the pond. On the weekends, the soccer field may be in use by club teams and from the times 3:00-4:30pm during the weekday, there may be an increase of middle schoolers in the surrounding area.

Wonderful paved half mile walking trail around well-maintained pond and grounds! The trail is relatively flat so it's nice for walking beginners and those with mobility concerns. Easily accessible for those in wheelchairs and those pushing strollers. There are benches along the way and now there are restrooms too. Just beware that it is located next to a school which causes some traffic issues at arrival and dismissal times.

The turf here is gorgeous! The playground is excellent. If only the bathrooms would finish construction.

Lots of garbage scattered around due to the kids from the school beside it, especially after the weekend. I saw the cans covered the table with the coca pouring out. Not a good place if you have a toddler like to pick up things from the ground.

Nice new well maintained park that is an easy bicycle ride from our home. Our 1 year old daughter enjoyed the slide and play area. We will return often.

Great place to take a small walk with my family and dogs. Has a playground, a pond, and a soccer field.

Pretty good park. They've got a nice field for soccer or lacrosse, a nice playground, and not one but two lakes. Also almost every time I go here I find a turtle chilling on the some branch in the lake.

Nice 1/2 mile paved walk around a little pond teaming with birds, turtles, rabbits. Great to get a fresh start on the day after school drop-off.

We love this park. It has a park and pond. Plenty of space for children to have a great time.

Great park! Has the nice soft/rubber surface. Didn't see an easy to access bathroom though.

Large playground area. Plenty of play area and activities for the kids to play alone or with other kids.
