Came in to celebrate family birthdays. We had a group of 15 and they did a great job serving our large group. The appetizers were yummy especially the brisket poutine fries. My husband had the brisket sandwich and I had the corned beef entree.

Delicious. Absolutely delicious. Wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Restaurant was clean with enforced social distancing and all staff properly wore masks. I asked for a few menu recommendations from our bar tender (we ate at the bar top) and he came through! We live in Sanford and happened upon this place while we were running errands in Apex but this is 100% a place we will frequent. Without a doubt it's worth the drive. Photos of Gaelic Steak Medallions (med rare), Pecan Crusted Pork Chops, and the most beautiful pour of Guinness this side of Ireland.

My daughter wanted to come here for her 14th birthday after my other daughter celebrated her wedding here. We had shepherds pie,corned beef & cabbage, fish& chips,Cole slaw,chicken tenders fries,cheescake,chocolate mouse,brownfield sundae & spicy Rita. All delicious 😋 no complaints.

Dined al fresco. The Shepherd's pie was delicious as always, and the pulled pork sandwich special was so good that you should consider adding it to the regular menu. Loved it! It was indeed a treat to be greeted by the general manager as well. My friend visiting from the Finger Lakes region of NY was quite impressed with the Southern hospitality!

Great service and atmosphere. Had a great time. The food is amazing. The French onion soup, Irish egg rolls, sliders, and meatloaf were all great. Not the first nor last time we will be here.

Doherty's checked all the boxes for me. They have delicious, authentic food. There's plenty of beers to choose from. The staff was very friendly, and they play fun Irish music. I definitely recommend Doherty's and i hope to be back soon.

OMG the brownie 😍 get the brownie. Our waitress was lovely within adorable Irish accent. Food was flavored perfectly. Definitely coming back to try more stuff

Sunday evening and we enjoyed a few starters and a pint of Guinness sitting at the bar. The staff was very passionate about the food being offered. Especially enjoyed the shrimp puppies and the brownies with vanilla ice cream and a Guinness chocolate sauce.

Everything that we had was GREAT! Service was good as well even though they left off one of our entrees. They gave us a coupon for a free meal for next time to make up for it! I highly recommend this place...I will be back again!

Went in for a late lunch, early dinner specifically because they had corned beef and cabbage on the menu. Fully expecting them to say they only have it on Fridays or they're out or any of the half dozen excuses I have heard around the country the last couple of years. Much to my surprise, they had a great draft beer selection and a delicious meal of corned beef and cabbage. I can't wait to go back.

Oh my goodness. Some of the best food I have ever had. This place does not disappoint, amazing staff and an excellent environment. Sandwich I had was delicious and extremely juicy! Will for sure be coming back here.

We had an early dinner on Sunday. Our hostess was very sweet and kind. With good food if the ambiance and behavior of staff is good overall the experience becomes awesome.

Our go-to neighborhood bar. Great food. Bartenders are very attentive. Can't go wrong with their fish and chips and shepherd's pie. Plus they have a mean music bingo every Thursday. Won a pair of socks and a gift certificate 😊

The food was good, but not as good as the other location in Cary. Food took a while to come out, and service was relatively negligent. We ran out of water and never got offers to refill. I also think the food may have upset my stomach.

The food was very good and well prepared. I had what they call the Irish breakfast. The service was a little on the slow side but I didn't need to wait long to be seated.

The food and service were excellent! My husband and I ducked in here to avoid a rainstorm and were pleasantly surprised. I had a pastrami sandwich and a cup of beer cheese soup. The soup reminded me of the beer cheese I grew up with in Kentucky, it was delicious! The sandwich was really tasty too. Our server was personable and very attentive.

This place cannot be kept a secret.The food is delicious and the service is fantastic. A group of us, twenty ladies, went there for lunch. There is a wide variety of unique, and authentic Irish menu items to choose from. We all were impressed with how quickly our food arrived; excellently cooked, and beautifully presented. Our server, Jamie, was delightful. She genuinely cares about her customers, and readily anticipated our needs. Her recommendations were spot on. She was extremely efficient especially, when dealing with 20 separate checks, and all the while with a smile. The GM, Steve, stopped by our table for a brief chat, and to ensure that we were enjoying our meal. As you can see, I highly recommend Doherty's Irish Pub. If you are looking for good (real) food at a good price, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, stop by and give this restaurant a try.

We just ate here and the food is amazing! Please start with the Irish Egg rolls and the Brisket Poutine! We ordered the Fish and Chips, and also the Gaelic Steak Medallions and they were to die for. Skylar was a great host. Thank you for the great service. For dessert try the Black Forest Cheesecake! UPDATE: Came again today and we had the Whisky Burger and the Doherty melt... OMG! So good. This is our new spot! By the way always ask for the side of fries with cheese and gravy 😉

Sara was good, helpful service. Shepherd's Pie was perfect and so was the Black and Tan draft. The layout of the place is comfortable like an authentic Irish Pub. I came in from out of town to check out the area and a decent Irish pub. I'll be back for the pub events and the occasional getaway, thanks Sara and Doherty's Irish Pub APEX 👍

They have a good selection of Irish and domestic beers. The atmosphere is unmatched, it’s a great cross between a small Irish pub and an American sports bar. Recommend for lunch, dinner, or just to grab some drinks and apps.

Every time we passed this restaurant I always thought, “we gotta try that place!” And we finally did and weren’t disappointed. The vibe here is so great, really friendly staff, music, and happy people. Of course, the food was great as well. Will definitely come here again

Very friendly staff, some happy hour treats and games, prices are good and you get a lot for your money. Food is great and they have an ever changing special menu. The traditional fair has some twists and turns you may not expect but done very well. For example the corned beef and cabbage had a hint of clove, when I say hint I mean very light and it really made an old dish new again for me. Pretty good place as they go, and I almost never give out a 5 star.

Have eaten here twice and gotten the Fish'n'Chips and Chip-Wich. Both are classically delicious! Friendly staff and I'd you're looking for a comfortable place to get some good comfort food and a drink, this is for you.

Got the corned beef and cabbage for St. Paddy's Day and it was delicious! Ordered online and picked up without any issues. Food was ready and hot at the time promised. When I went inside to pick up, the atmosphere was fun and inviting. Will definitely go back and dine-in.

We were going to the Doherty's in Cary, but now that we live in Fuqua-Varina, the Apex Doherty's will be our Irish pub of choice. This is a very clean, big open bar, we had a very nice person taking care of our table. The fish&chips was very good. We will be returning.

Great Irish pub. I've. Visited Apex half a dozen times in the last several years for work. I always make a point of stopping into this establishment at least once.

Best fried Buffalo Chicken Sandwich in town without a doubt. Fish and Chips are amazing too. Staff & vibe always friendly.
