I ate at Danny's last place for many years. The menu here is the same, but better and the location is a huge improvement. Danny and his staff are a Lakewood institution that we're all very happy to have in the neighborhood.

I ordered the honey fried chicken dinner 🤤 it came with a large fresh dinner salad, potato of my choice , veggies and a roll. Everything was pretty good! The service was fast and friendly! The owner came over and introduced himself. Overall great experience! I will definitely be coming back!!

Formerly known as Danny's Carnation Restaurant this beloved local restaurant has found its new home in a vibrant corner of our city. With their rebranding as Danny Ray's Food and Spirits, they continue to serve up mouthwatering dishes and drinks that will satisfy your cravings. 🍔🍹

Finally, I tried the new location. This place and the staff are is still awesome. Definitely lost the old school vibe but gained some much needed space inside and some diatance from growing state-sanctioned, junkie scene... I tried the house steak for breakfast. It was super tough and chewy, despite ordering "medium rare." I'd stick to the fried, Mexican crossover dishes with egg , which seem to be their high point. Also, killer pancakes, French toast, biacuits & gravy. Kids menu is pricey, but big portions.

Our waitress was wonderful. The hostess on the other hand was completely unhelpful to our waitress when she was trying to take care of a 12 top and her other tables. I've worked in the food industry and what I saw was shameful.

I loved Danny’s Carnation so much and I’m so glad that the new Danny Ray’s has the same great menu and more! The food is amazing as always, and the service is just as good! I love the new happy hour menu and it’s nice being able to have a cocktail with your meal at the new location. And an extra bonus - the patio is huge!! It’s going to be my go to patio in Lakewood.

It was my first time trying Danny’s Carnation Restaurant. I ordered French toast with a side of scrambled eggs. The French toast was huge! I meant to ask for a half order but believe I was served a full order. It came with four huge pieces of soft French toast which were grilled with just the right amount of crunch. The eggs were just alright. We also ordered biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon. The bacon was super thin but it was crispy which is the way I like my bacon. The biscuits and gravy were nothing special and didn’t offer a lot of flavor even though it included sausage. The service was quick and the staff were all friendly. I would come back for the French toast if I was in the neighborhood and if served before 8:00 am they offer early breakfast specials.

It was a fantastic diner! Such great service! Our drinks were never empty and food was ordered and in front of us in like 15 minutes despite the place being packed! BTW, food was DELICIOUS! I'm definitely glad we stopped by on our way through Denver! They are in the middle of moving locations. It was a little crowded at the current location but still a decent atmosphere. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome! Our server Emily was very knowledgeable and very kind she made great recommendations and was always upbeat. The atmosphere is great with multiple tvs for watching the game and a variety of drinks to choose from.

We took a chance and tried a new place. Glad we did. The food was very good. We tried the Crispy Combination platter and a Breakfast Burrito Supreme. I apologize about the pics as I thought about taking them after we were almost finished. We will be returning as there were many other items that we want to try.

Great place, service and food. Exceptional staff. We had the Irish skillet (OMG) and breakfast burrito supreme. Outstanding. Music was a tad too loud. TV’s everywhere! Indoor/outdoor seating with tons of room.

Great breakfast spot. Grabbed the crispy Chile relleno with a side of biscuits and gravy. The blend of textures was exquisite, and the cheesiness of the relleno was also great. The green chili topping it all was top notch. Very satisfied with that dish and will be coming back and ordering it again. Only knock on the place is the atmosphere feels a little bit like they came in and took over a Chili’s that went out of business and added some odds & ends to make it their own.

Great food great breakfast great atmosphere. The parking lot reminds me a lot of Danny's Carntion - very small. Service is top notch! Recommended! Thanks! Chris
