Ikogosi Warm spring Resort is a place I have put on my bucket list for a long time and I finally had the opportunity to visit the place but sadly the place is in a complete state of disrepair, a total embarrassment as most of the buildings are abandoned and dilapidated. The condition of the place has made the place look like a ghost town. The meeting point between the warm spring water and the cold spring water is a good site to behold but a serious renovation and total revamp will have to take place to attract tourist.

Ikogosi Warmsprings is a destination I would recommend for nature lover. The environment is serene and conducive for any picnic event. I believe they can do better

I'd been hearing about Ikogosi's warm and cold water for almost 30 years, but I finally got there. I checked into their hotel and stayed in the VIP suite. I was quite satisfied with the room, which was tastefully furnished but had no pressing iron. The food was a little overpriced at the restaurant, but I must say, there's a certain staff (TOSIN) at the restaurant, her customer service was top notch and exceptional, she is extremely patient and nice. I am difficult to please, yet she met the requirements. Their swimming pool is fantastic because they channel warm water into it; leaving the pool was difficult for me and my guest. Yes, there are still some things that could be better. The receptionists' customer service was likewise excellent. The VIP suite was 85k as of July 2023, you will absolutely like it, security is amazing, you have nothing to worry about at the VIP suite, quite safe for people from Diaspora's. I felt truly saved. I will definitely recommend their hotel for those who prefers to stay overnight. Phone/internet network is poor at location, more work is needed.

To be honest. This place is super amazing. I had a great time at the pool because it was my first time being at a pool. The environment is so neat and well taken care of. I also drank from the warm springs. Nigeria is beautiful and Ikogosi is beautiful.

Beautiful, beautiful place. Quite serene and astonishingly well managed. I've been to a number of tourist spots in the Southwest and very few are as well maintained and managed as this. Superb tour guide who patiently explained everything and showed us around. Lots of places good to take pictures too. Absolutely loved it. P. S Better to have cash handy at the pool bar though. Network might be difficult for transfers or pos machines.

The location was the main thing. Removed from the bustle of the cities, set in a calm, very cool/cold, quite hilly and thickly forested area. The resort has also undergone a lot of renovation and in good shape compared to several years ago on my first trip there. It is detoxing and calming to the spirit and soul. The staff/service was also quite courteous, always smiling and available to assist. Would just want more alternatives with regards to meals. But, on the overall, will definitely visit again.

I would recommend this anyday despite a number of challenges that we had. Regardless, it was a fun and tranquil experience. I look forward to doing this again with family, hopefully some of the challenges would have been worked through and sorted. The merchandise is state of the art and we actually invested in enough for all members of our family. Our tour guides - Tope and Ope we're the best and Mama is a great story teller. In all, it was a worthwhile experience and again, I would recommend this any day.

It's such a beautiful reserve. You can hear nature all around it and if you're lucky you'll find a tour guide who would tell you the history of the spring and its significance to the locals. My favorite thing about this place was where the hot and warm springs met. Oh my word it was just therapeutic sitting down and having both cold and warm water touch my feet. They say it also has medicinal and healing features. If you're looking for a place to think, here's your spot. I think it could be managed better though. Such a place should be raking in money and tonnes of tourists.

I'm always in awe of the wonder of nature. And a spring that has a hot and cold meeting is amazing. And I felt right at home here. The tour guide I met, Femi, was very eloquent and diligent. I defiantly will go visiting again.

The cold and warm springs by its history and all standards qualify as one of the most interesting and fascinating sites for a resort. I wish the management can gift the place a face-lift and adequate maintenance.

October, 2021. It was a bitter, sweet, bitter experience heading to Ikogosi. Entrance fee: For adults they charge #700 naira per head, standard price. If you go with kids, you can bargain your way and see if they can charge you less for them. The ticket last for 24 hours, so I was told as long as you can provide it every time you exit the premises and are back that day. Pool: There's a pool just at the entrance whose water is fed by the warm spring. The water is always warm so you can go for a swim. So come with you swim suit. Bar/Feeding: At the pool, is a bar where they serve non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. I noticed only Noodles/Egg was the food they served. I hope they include more on their menu. 1 didn't get any drink, so I can't say if the prices were same as market price. I went with my can of water. Tour guide: I asked for a tour guide while collecting my tickets. I didn't have to pay. The lady who attended to me was very accommodating and nice. Since she didn't collect charge for the guide I made sure to tip her before I left. RANDOM NOTES *Go with change of clothes. *Ikogosi Warm spring is child friendly, you can go with kids. *Carry you own foodband maybe drinks. Though the bar has drinks too. *If you are driving down make sure you car is very sound as they is a lot of climbing of hills from Ipole to Ikogosi, the road itself is smooth though. *Also you can get motorcycle ride from Ipole to Ikogosi, the rider will wait for you untill you are done. I paid #600 he waited for me(that was roughly 2hrs) *When you buy ticket or drinks make sure to collect your change, immediately. Or else the attendant will claim they don't have and you should collect it on your way out. It's a plot for you to forget it.

This place is really awesome… I’m really short of words but if there one word for it, it’s absolute perfection πŸ‘ŒπŸ½. The customer service is top notch, the environment is a blast of nature and this place is an absolute perfect community built around the warm spring. I’ll definitely come again.

It's a very nice location but alot of fun stuffs needs to be added there... it's lacking in creativity & aesthetic value. Also prices of food & drinks are too exorbitant. Even Gossi water that is produced there is sold for outrageous price. The gatefee isn't worth it too. It can be better.

  • 3/5 Yomi A. 2 years ago on Google
The experience of the warm springs themselves was fun and exciting. The guide gave a good account of the stories behind the springs, as well as of the geographical details. However, some renovation of facilities is in order.

The resort didn't meet my expectations. So many needs to be changed. In fact, the whole building needs a total rehabilitation, the WiFi is not working, no water mostly during the day and the management of need to be changed. Ikogosi Warm Spring is a World class resort but the management is not doing enough.

The home of the only hot and cold water springs in the world. What they have done to the place is AMAZING! Small wonder it was voted the 2023 holiday resort of the year. In terms of service, the view, cuisine(the chef cooks some lovely delicacies. Also ask for the lemon water because there are lemons everywhere!), the rooms(clean, comfy and beautiful), the management team have done an awesome job. Include it in your next holiday plan and you will truly get value for your money.

  • 2/5 Ayomide A. 1 year ago on Google
The resort doesn't seem like it's working at the moment. You can just go and enjoy the pool and experience the warm and cold springs and that's all you get. Don't even think of lodging.

Very disappointed with the way Ekiti State Government allowed this place to be wasting away due to poor maintenance. They should just privatise the place to a willing investor. This place could be a money spinner if handled very well.

I did a solo adventure to Ikogosi and I can say it worth. I love the fact that the roads that leads to Ikogosi are motorable. The serene environment is very encouraging. The only downside of resort is the ticketing and restaurant. Very pricey. The restaurant inside the Ikogosi resort is very expensive (A plate of food is N7500). Access to the spring only is N2500 (Adult), N1500 (Kid) and no discount on the number of persons you're coming with.

I loved the cool Serene environment. It was a lovely place away from the mouse and activities of the city. If you need a quick getaway with your family and friends on a budget in Nigeria, then this resort is for you. ₦1000 per night for a room. The only disadvantages is that there is no electricity power from 7am till 7pm.

The natural warm spring and it's environment is breathtaking and stunning. The waters has different temperatures and meets at a point to form the warm spring. It is believe to have healing powers according to the guide. But the poor maintainance culture by those in charge or whoever is robbing the place of it's splendour, This place could be better.

Ikogusi is a beautiful wonder of nature I was more than intrigued to experience one leg in warm water and the other in cold water, also particularly enjoyed the pool, it was nice and perfect for both beginner and professional swimmers. However like most tourist attractions in Nigeria, it has a terrible maintenance culture and needs one or two repairs also the toilet was terrible and smelt really bad.

Visited Ikogosi Warm Spring and Resort with few friends, the ride to Ekiti state was beautiful with great views of hills, vegetations. Loved the welcoming view of the gate, the short walk to where the spring is, and the nice feel of warm and cold water hitting my feet, felt like paradise (lol). The pool is nice, didn't go in as I wasn't prepared but it was obvious from the excitement on faces of those inside. Nice bar to cool off. Last one, be careful around the wire mesh on your way in by the small pool, we saw a snake (great camouflage as it blended well with the colors) curled around it.

  • 4/5 Yewande F. 3 years ago on Google
The tourist attraction is really cool to view and feel I.e the warm/cold water springs. The pool is beautiful with the warm spring channelled into it and flowing out from the extreme end. The rooms look beautiful with spring mattresses although not well maintained... the sheets do not feel like they've been changed for a while(if you'd be visiting, do take your sheets along) then there was the waiting till 7pm to get the generator put on before water could be pumped. Their restaurant could do better too... In all, it's a beautiful place to visit, the place just need some serious renovation and maintenance.

A hidden gem. The place is not what you would expect of a running hotel. Far from it, it is a scene of desolation and negligence. But, if you are looking for a break from city life, then you have come to the right place!

Delta Game Park gives a wide range of experience. From the moment I arrived at the park, I was impressed by the facilities and the staff. The park is beautifully landscaped, and the animals are well-cared for and have plenty of space to roam. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and they were happy to answer any questions that I had. The park offers several different ways to see the animals, including guided tours, safari drives, and even the chance to feed some of the animals. If you're looking for a unique and educational experience, I highly recommend visiting Delta Game Park.
