Updated review: it was 5 stars previously as well. Gypsy has changed the interior and did some renovation and looks amazing now. Very good food, but I would not recommend the buffet cus food quality is compromised there. But still it's a 4 star. I love the appetizers and drinks. Very good service.

One thing about me, I’d always love Asian cuisine and this place offers amazing meals at affordable prices. With lots to pick from, you can be assured of sweet food. The waiter was really helpful as he guided me through the menu till I made a selection. The ambiance is sweet and calm and they have a big mirror in the room before the toilet. Great for taking pictures.

If you're looking for authentic and affordable Asian cuisine on the mainland, then Gypsy's is the response. Their meals are consistent, delicious and they have a variety of options to pick from. The servers are super helpful and will help you through each item on the menu and make suggestions. Their rates are equally affordable. And the ambience of the place is great, you can take instagrammable pictures there as well.

I want to eat at gypsy’s everyday. Food was fantastic. Food- 10/10 Ambience-6/10 Parking-6/10 Customer service- 6/10 I did not like the fact that the tables were really close to each other. It was also difficult finding the restaurant. There is outdoor dining as well. It had really small parking. You may need to park by the road. It is located in a gated community, so that’s fine. Finally, The food is GREAT!

Most pathetic service, it was an embarrassing moment when they refused to serve more starters in my party even though I booked it for a buffet and they didn't serve enough food for my guests. ACs were also not working, the manager Nirmal made a lot of promises just to get the booking and completely ignored the request during the party. The staff is not trustworthy and the service was pathetic Not recommended for parties at all.

This place is like looking for a treasure !!! I mean it was so hidden we had to go on an on trying to locate the place .. The street leading on to place is quite dark They have parking space to take about 8 cars They have cool scenes and lightning for pictures It’s a story building , the upper part can be used for business meetings ... It’s a Thai / Indian /Chinese restaurant The restaurant is quite cosy and neat they have round tables to take large groups and small tables for couples and singles The portions are large and can be shared by 2 people It’s really affordable and different. Word of advice if you don’t like spices this might not be for you .. But I genuinely enjoyed the meal Service time took about 20 minutes The waiters were nice and patient but then I feel that the menu could have pictures of the food

The meals were nice and the quality decent. The only issue was customer service and wait time. Don't get me wrong, it's not like I was disrespected but they could definitely improve on their enthusiasm and customer service. It took me quite a while to wait for my order to be delivered but when it was, the food was very nice

I loved the ambience and tranquil nature of this restaurant. A perfect venue to have conversations and chill. The menu is alright. Order from the indian section (tastes better than the chinese). You need to try the sesame pockets and chicken, remember to add the chilli sauce to unlock a new level of flavour. The staff are polite and courteous. The only downside of this place is their restroom. It was clean but I was quite disappointed that they had only one toilet - yep just one toilet in a restaurant. They need to do better.

One of my restaurant hopping visits with hubby, Google recommended Gypsy and we didn't regret it. Yes, they are a little pricey but lovely atmosphere and good food.

Decent space. Warm crowd. Affordable meals. Quite enjoyable. Try the Sesame Rolls. The Chicken Tikka Masala works fine with steamed rice but the steamed rice is not on the menu so watch it, the damage to the pocket. The helpings are decent and the spot is nicely tucked away, seemingly niche for the Indian community in Lagos.

This is a great place for Indian and Chinese food in Lagos. Also, if you're looking for somewhere nice on the mainland, this is it. The service is one of the best I've experienced, the food portions are large AND delicious. The food is affordable. The wait time is short. The waiters will answer any questions about the meals and recommend something for you if you're not sure what to order. It's really great for groups and there's an upstairs area where you can have a nice meal for 2.

Gypsy's Restaurant is a nice quite restaurant hidden somewhere in ilupeju. They serve nice meals and it's a nice place for group hangouts. They serve most especially Indian and Chinese meals.

I really enjoyed my time at Gypsy’s. The customer experience was really good. The ambience was amazing. And the food was top notch. My orders include: Chapman (500), spring roll(700), special fried rice(5500), noodles mixed with meat (4000), chicken in xo sauce (4500) and table water (300).

You can get different delicacies here. Environment is serene and a good place to hang out with your partner.

Gypsy's is quite a beautiful place in the evening. I had their special friend rice and it's tasty, nice! Please don't make a mistake of getting 2 platter for 2, 1 platter is enough for 2 people. The Chapman was good too. Gypsy's is one nice place to hide away from Lagos hustle and bustle. And guess what, it's quite hidden!🤫

Too small, everyone could hear every discussion on the other tables. The food wasn't spectacular, probably because I'm not Indian. There are better restaurants around. However, it's still a good place hidden from the struggles of Lagos.

My babe and I came across this beautiful restaurant in Ilupeju and we never had an idea that something as amazing as this existed in Ilupejuthey have one of the best menu that competes with top restaurants in the whole of Lagos,I believe you should first try out the starters with there awesome samosa that comes with the Chinese pepper sauce and green chutney with Chinese pepper sauce and lastly sweet chutney… beautiful experience as you try it all with the different sauces then we tried and the prawn mayo spring rolls,awesome I think everybody in Lagos is missing out on this new experience
