Okay food but beware the waitress can easily become extremely rude and impolite. In our case simply because one of us took a few more napkins as she had a flu. First time ever encountering such a drama in a restaurant.

Cute little place. Delicious food. Nice but slow service but its one person for the whole place so she does a great job

Spectacular find in the Sorbonne district. Everything (the injera, the stews, the spiced tea, the cake) was incredibly tasty. The place is tiny and can get cramped quickly – make sure to book in advance. My only criticism is that they were quite slow at calculating our bill, and given how small the restaurant is, it wasn’t super comfortable to linger between tables. But I’d go again in a heartbeat.

Wanting to try Ethiopian food for the first time, we were not disappointed to go to Godjo ! Proportions are generous, food (spicy & and not spicy) is excellent and the waitress we had was very kind ! The price is also light for a central restaurant in Paris. I recommend to try the Ethiopian dishes mix that is a good start to have a first glance of culture of the country. We will come again

A cute Ethiopian restaurant 5th district in the Latin quarter. The manager is quite friendly and kind, and speaks English too. The food quality is ok (nothing wow about it, based on my other Ethiopian cuisine experiences in Geneva, Berlin, and Wien) and the presentation was nice too. The injera served here was quite light and less sour than the conventional ones, which was interesting. The space is quite small, so it is a bit cramped, and the toilet is clean, but quite dark, which wasn't my cup of tea. If in Paris and craving for some Ethiopian, this might be a spot to consider.

Home made Ethiopian food. We have enjoyed a very tasty mixed plate of vegetables, chicken and meat with the special Ethiopian spices. A moth watering desert and an Ethiopian Mocha Coffee. Every plate was excellent. Recommended for spice lovers.

Never had Ethiopian food before but I am now fully in love with it! As a vegetarian I feel so welcomed here, each of the dish is just absolutely delicious, the portion is perfect for me as a woman too, I even ordered the traditional cake, yum! The cream and coconut go so well together. The owners are so friendly and lovely, I wish more people can come visit cause they are amazing! ( but yeah since they are already quite popular pls make a reservation before coming)

In Paris and nest to check out Ethiopian food. The service is very nice and people are welcoming. You can make a reservation in advance if you like. The food can be custom made to suit your taste, spicy or not. There are vegetarian options available however check with the staff and they can suggest you more options. The flat bread is super nice which is a bit tangy and perfect in taste as its made with fermented wheat or rice.

We were offered a table although we didn't have a reservation. The staff was friendly and the food and the wine was perfect.

We add a reservation to eat but when we arrived there was no room left for us. They told us to go downstairs even if it was a room only to drink, no table. The staff was ignoring us as if we were disturbing them. When we left other customers were complaining because they were still waiting for the menu.

I know it is traditional but I don’t like the sourness of the dough. Should have gone for the spicy version it tastes way better and not even that spicy (this dish is non-spicy, regret ordering it). The portion is huge so you will no doubt t be full, however the salad is too salty for me. The waitress is very friendly even though she doesn’t speak English very well.

Came here with my family while on vacation. We were tired of the same food and wanted something different, so a local pointed us in this direction. We have never tried ethiopian food before, so we were very excited to try it. To say it was extremely delicious is an understatement. We were blown away by the flavor, presentation, and quantity. We tried the ethiopian beer and it was also extremely delicious and perfectly complimented the food we had ordered. The perfect meal to end our perfect trip. Waitress was very nice and efficient, and food came out decently fast. Hot, flavorful, and full of life. Absolutely recommend if you are in the area.

The food was delicious and good ingredients. The atmosphere and music very relaxing and pleasant. We wanted to go in a long time as we live close-by but we always found it full, as it is a very small place. Healthy cuisine, nice waiter! Just the portions could be a bit bigger

The food smelled amazing. The employees were lovely. But when I asked to have 1 1/2 dishes instead of 1 dish, the owner told me to leave his restaurant. He’s Ethiopian but he’s lived in Paris for 30 years. I’m sure his family back in Ethiopia no longer recognise his lack of hospitality and politeness.

Food was ok, service was a bit disappointing. At least use a proper dish to hold the food. To be honest paying 17 euros for this is a bit not worth it. The ambiance was nice since we were outside with live music across the street.

Excellent Ethiopian Restaurant one can ever find in western world. Owner and staff are very welcoming. Chef is out of the world The food is yummisome. A MUST VISIT! I do visit this place with my wife every month. Waiting for them to reopen so that we can visit again.

Quite small and intimate place, which I enjoyed. This was (I think) my first proper Ethiopian meal ... and I loved the rich spices and the bread!

We were seated downstairs, in the lounge area. Not really convenient for eating nor do the waitresses come down often to check up on you. But food is alright and service was nice enough.
