We stayed at an AirBnB in the beautiful resort!!! The locals have said it is the best kept secret with serious trails for skiing! We were there in summer. Some of us enjoyed mountain biking, seeing Boo the Bear, and the Via Ferrata which was a thrilling experience!!!

We visited Kicking Horse 20 years ago. They just opened then. The experience was below bar then as it was this time around. The ski hills were icy, and the rental facilities are not up to par. They were not busy when we were there, but they had trouble finding the right shoes and couldn't find the right size snowboards either. The people at the rental facility also treated us like inmates. We were provided orders like we were entering a prison, asked to read, verbally acknowledge, and sign contracts that remove all liability from the company if anything happens (even if it is their fault). I'll definitely give them a hard pass in the future.

I had the fortune to photograph a wedding up the mountain at the resort and I was completely blown away. Such an incredible venue with mind-blowing views. I had snowboarded there many times in the winter and I thought it was just as spectacular in the summer. The staff was amazing and kind and the ceremony was on the terrace overlooking the peaks. Just WOW!

Great experience! We were lucky and got to see Boo the Bear, not a lot as he was wandering in bushes. Amazing hikes at the summit.

Great resort to stop by for a trip. I went in the summer and they had tons of activities to do. Well maintained and challenging mountain biking trail, hiking trails, grizzly bear, cable car and a via ferrata. I didn’t get a chance to go mountain biking while I was there but I could tell from the cable car that it would have been worth it if I had the time. I did have the chance to do the via ferrata which was fun and provided beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

The base simply isn't deep enough yet (Jan 2, 2024), resulting in numerous spots where the snow is brownish. Many of the runs have rocks scattered about. In some places, the tips of pine/spruce trees are scattered almost completely across the run. Unfortunately, they haven't received the snowfall they usually get. The staff were very polite and helpful!

we had the best morning taking part in the ranger experience with Boo! Our guide was super informative and so nice. she was more than happy to answer all questions and it looks like Boo has an amazing set up here, everyone truly cares about his well-being, he definitely has a great life here. After this, we took the gondola up the mountain and did some hiking, stunning trails, could maybe be better sign posted but we managed. Insane views and all staff were wonderful throughout the resort.

After Reading 2 very recent Reviews about the Ski Rental Shop, there is clearly a problem regarding how it's managed and how rude and snooty the Employees are. The unfriendly liability is all they care about, with their nose up. Some young guy looked totally miserable and uninterested the entire time, like he'd rather be somewhere else or distracted by his boyfriend. He could have let someone better employable serve me. He could also find a different job. I can think of many more suitable jobs. Some random guy brought me into their "back room", to tell me, that "more than one person thinks I am on drugs or drinking". I came from Edmonton, to Ski, and last 2 days prior have been recovering from a week long cold. I was beyond mortified that some fool talking to me in their back room, would accuse me. Then I asked for the manager, who I met from the Ski Shop. She basically said "some people drink Mimosas". No, You drink mimosas, and probably your Staff too, and they are all hungover creeps, or need a 'drink in the morning or afternoon'. What disgusting low lives and "service" from Ski Rentals. I'll buy my own boots, Skis, poles and helmet 5 times over, before seeing or breathing the same air as some major creep-ville Ski rental Shop, ever in my life. You made my trip, which was good, start off like a slap in the face. Find another job, after you All learn people skills. Disgusting. The rest of all the good that happened in my afternoon on skis was good. The people in the Ski Shop should work in a dump with all that very much uneeded attitude. I actually feel bad for all you fools in some minimum wage job, failing.
