Really great golf course, I’m a beginner and survived without loosing too many balls. My husband absolutely smashed the course with his best score. Worth every penny. We didn’t have a chance to eat at their restaurant but from chatting with others, It sounds delicious

We played Eagle Ranch in early August with three other couples. We decided the wives would play together, with husbands in the group behind. Unfortunately we were greeted with unwelcome remarks from the starter regarding our plan. The gist was basically that ladies would be too slow and hold up the men. We had to reinforce our intent two or three more times and ultimately drive up to the tee box to demonstrate we were serious. It should be noted, all eight of us are regular golfers with handicaps. Also, the men never caught up to the ladies. As for the course, it's quite challenging without course knowledge. There are multiple blind shots where it's difficult to gauge how far to hit, or where to try and place the ball. We'd definitely play it different if we ever return, but based on the fact we all paid the same (not inexpensive) green fee, we sure didn't expect, or appreciate being stereotyped and diminished by staff. The clubhouse is quite nice. We sat on the patio after our round for a drink before heading back to Panorama.

Pros: Wonderful rooms with a pleasant valley/mountain views. Check in was easy. Cons: At check in, we were told if we wanted maid service, we needed to call each day. We did, on day 2, we asked for service, when done with golf at 3:30 pm, still no room care. The next day, we again asked to have the room refreshed, when we got back late in the afternoon, the lady was next door, she skipped our room. When we called, she had finished. Ok, they sent her back, as there was no coffee, oh, ok decaffeinated, but there was no cream and no wash clothes or bottled water. She left, we found there was no toilet paper, and no one at the office in the early evening, there was a phone number for the hotel, but they said call only in emergencies. So I drove on the street almost to the exit, saw a golf course toilet, got out, took a roll of toilet paper. Bottom line, a nice place to stay but it really needs some TLC for the clients.

The golf carts are the original carts from the course opening in 2001. It took 3 carts to complete our round. The GPS worked intermittently. Bunkers were not well racked. Saw cart girl on 4th hole then never again. (That can happen). Lovely course, lousy management .

The course was okay in comparison to Copper Point- the Point and Grey Wolf. Our electric cart (cart 84) ran out of power on the 16th hole. We sent a message to the club house to have either a new cart brought out or our cart fixed. Neither occurred. We ended up pushing the cart up hills and to the last hole. When we arrived at the clubhouse and indicated that we had sent a message about the cart, they acted as if they had no idea. When we went into the Pro Shop, they took a look on their computer message board and said “oh yeah, there it is. You did send a message”. Furthermore, we were advised that cart 84 was known not to last 18 holes on a full charge and that it should not have been offered to us. Their only compensation was a $20 dollar restaurant voucher. This was my second trip to Eagle Ranch and both times was very poor service and not a great experience. Needless to say it will be my last round played at Eagle Ranch. My golfing partners have expressed similar sentiments. After spending over $700.00 for the round for 4 golfers, barely making it with the slow moving cart for holes 12-15 and having to push a cart for the final 3 holes (16-18); a $20 voucher was a poor resolution for a poor experience.

The scenery and course layout is fantastic. It has fantastic golf holes. It was an enjoyable round. However, if I could request a few areas to focus on. . The bunkers need some work. They're thin (on sand) and barely have sand in the. (okay for fairway bunkers, bad for green side) . The greens were also a little slow for my liking. They were receptive, but green speed was a little inconsistent. (we played later in the day)

Pace of play. Pace of play. Pace of play. Sitting here on16. Group in front have not teed off. 4 hours have gone by. Not fun to wait on every hole. Would be nice if they enforced the pace or spread out tee times. Nice course. Typical resort course. The price you pay I do expect to have the pace to be enforced. On 18 and there are 4 groups on the hole with 2 groups at tee box. Brutal.

We had a late check in, after hours, and the staff was very helpful in accommodating or needs for getting into our room. The room and location was more than expected so we decided to stay an extra day. The golf course was an amazing experience with the condition of the course to the amazing mountain views. Then there was the food, it will cost more than usual but it is worth it. It is restaurant food with a home cooked feel, it was so good. You have to try the Eggs Benny!!
