I lived at Sonder for two weeks when I just moved to Madrid. Truly amazing experience! The room was very new and equipped with everything I needed. I felt I was taken care of, even though everything was done digitally and I mostly just communicated with staff on Sonder’s own app. Definitely a lovely place for expats to settle down at the very beginning when just moving to a new city.

Our second stay with Sonder - fast, easy no hassle check in and check out. Great room - 2 bedrooms and two baths. Great internet. Only hassle was a washer that was out of order. The staff gave us access to another unit to do our wash.

I loved my stay at Sonder Malasaña, and I'm already dreaming about returning there next year!! I stayed in a studio, which was spacious and impeccably clean. Very comfortable king-sized bed. Kitchen had all the basic dishes and pots and pans, etc., that I needed. Everything was easy--check-in was a breeze, communicating with the staff through the app was easy and efficient. Everyone on the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The neighborhood is great, with a variety of restaurants and grocery stores and other stores (including a pharmacy and a hardware store, etc.) just around the corner. Bilbao metro is just a block away and Tribunal metro is only a short walk. The walk down to SOL is about 15 mins., most of it on a pedestrian-only street. My only small suggestion would be to include written instructions on using all the appliances in the apartment. I highly highly recommend Sonder Malasaña!!

We stayed for two nights in Madrid. We were perfectly located- walking distance to many sites, restaurants, and shopping plus the Metro was also close. When service was needed, the staff was immediately responsive. I definitely recommend Sonder Malasaña.

Great stay and experience overall. We had an issue with a leak from the a/c unit in one of the bathrooms, but the team was quick to respond. They even moved us to a new room for the last two nights when the issue started. Will always appreciate their quick action, and attention to detail. The flat was extremely clean, had great amenities, and was centrally-located. Will definitely be back!

This is the second time I use Sonder services and am so glad to discover them. Apartments are in great location, clean and with all the amenities needed when away from home. Customer service have gone beyond their way to make you feel that all your needs are met. I highly recommend Sonder to anyone who wants yo have a pleasant time while away on business or vacation. This apartment at Malasaña met all our needs. Lots of places to eat and nearby main attractions.

Really impressed with the apartment. It's like new and very clean. Very complete kitchen utensils and appliances. Location is very near grocery store. Coming from a tropical country (Malaysia) to a cold country, we hope that the hot water shower supply is consistent and it was. Totally satisfied with the stay. Will highly recommend this place.

Just missing a Gym to have it all for a business stay. Great location and friendly staff.

This was a darling place to stay! Blanco greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcomed. The amenities were perfect, well equipped and space utilization was also well done. Close to nightlife and metro for easily getting around the city. We would definitely stay here again!

Check all the reviews. I only read the overwhelmingly positive reviews before booking. I had a stay booked for my elderly parents several weeks in advance for one of the most popular long weekend travel dates in Spain. Today I received a text message (7 days before our arrival) that they cancelled our stay. They said that a long term renter decided to extend their stay, so they gave them our room and cancelled our booking. We got a refund, but prices are now outrageously expensive for finding new accommodation last minute and Sonder offered no alternatives or compensation. This is just a really dirty way to treat customers. After taking a look at the negative reviews here I feel tricked because i see that this appears to be a pattern. I’m very frustrated and disappointed. We had a second weekend booked with them for our return to Madrid. I am wondering if we should cancel that now as maybe the same thing will happen. Very bad on their part. Really disappointed.

Superb stay, very comfortable, quiet well equipped apartment in the heart of a wonderful neighborhood. Shoutout to the local staff and the Barcelona team for great support as well. Would absolutely return and recommend.

Blanca was such a great staff, the space was nicely decorated, clean. All of the staffs are friendly and helpful. Love the smell of the concierge when they use Aromafy perfume! They should definitely sell it on the spot.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this Sonder location in Malasana. My room with a terrace was the perfect spot to work remotely and enjoy Madrid. It is in an excellent location that is close to public transportation, but also has fantastic restaurants in the immediate area. Everything was so convenient with the app to communicate. I love that I had a dishwasher and a washing machine! The kitchen was well stocked. Made my life, working remotely, absolutely perfect. The wifi was perfect - never had an issue with video conferencing. Plus, it was quiet! Overall, would absolutely recommend this spot and will definitely stay here again.
