The only thing worth a try at the buffet is the pizza slices, and they disappear too fast. Light switch outside the bathroom (Satan designed it) and it's super small not enough space for 2 people even tho there are 2 beds But breakfast was a little better except for the orange juice, that's just water with orange flavour

Hotel was in a perfect location for travelling round. Metro station just 10 minutes up the road and a big shopping centre 10 minutes the other way . The breakfast was great with plenty of choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful . The room was a good size and was spotless

Not a 4 star hotel for us. We came to Europe for two weeks with fist and last day stay in this hotel. We arrived August 6. As we arrived, in the lobby, in front of the registration desk, my with wife purse was stolen. It was a split second. Her cards were used within half hour. There’s no security at all and the manager told us he couldn’t look at the cameras without a police summons. Well in Spain unless you are robbed at gun or knife point, is not considered robbery, therefore manager doesn’t have to see the recorded videos on cameras. There’s hardly internet. It comes and goes. Not too friendly. Not a comeback place for us.

Good stay at the Praga hotel. The room was clean and ambiance was nice. Metro is only 10mins walking distance which is a major advantage for this area.

*Horrible experience with elevators and breakfast buffet* At the breakfast buffet, it was a disaster. We were up pretty early because we were getting picked up by our tour guide to leave the city. I think the other guest were in a similar boat so therefore everyone made it to breakfast at the same time. Did not find a clean table to sit . We got super lucky and were able to squeeze in a table with others that were not part of our group. There were multiple tables with dirty plates and no one coming around to clean up and free up space. Moreover the line for coffee was ridiculous and when I pressed the coffee button water came gushing out. I then had to walk over to the other end of the other coffee line to get one cup of coffee. It was all too hectic and stressful that I did not even have a proper breakfast. After finishing up there we had to rush up to our room to grab our luggage because they were picking us up in the lobby. The elevators were not working properly. They were super slow and when it arrived to our floor it was full and we couldn't get on. This was the case for many. I even saw older people dragging their luggage down the stairs because there were no other way . I was one who had to drag our luggage down the stairs in order to make time. Bottom line, need more friendly staff at busy breakfast time cleaning and helping guests. The elevators NEED to work properly especially with so many people. Its very unfair that anyone has to drag their big luggage down the stairs.

Completely disappointed with the rooms and the staff, in the room we have 2 sockets including one for the TV and one for the mini ar, at the head of the bed there are only switches, taking into account that we are in the 21st century everyone needs to charge their phone at least next to the bed . And on top of all that, I ordered a double room and received a twin room. That is, for a couple we got 2 separate beds. I went to the reception and they said it was impossible because it was full. We came to the hotel at 10 in the morning to check in, but they said to come back after 2 pm. I said ok and when I came back they said that they no longer have double bed rooms available. What can be seen in the 2nd picture are the switches at the head of the bed where there should have been at least one socket.

Never stay here !!! I booked a double room and received a twin room because there was no availability, although I booked 2 months in advance and arrived at check-in in the morning at 10. The bed linen is dirty, mess in the whole room, it has not been sanitized, it smells of mold, the furniture is old and broken, the ceiling in the bathroom is crumbling. when I returned, I was treated very badly and I had to wait a long time until we were taken into account. I explained the problems about the room type and cleanliness and they said that they could not do anything, that they had already taken my money and that was it. There is no socket for charging the phone Run away from this place!

Comfortable bus (n. 23) for the centre and taxi just at the entrance of the hotel, and subway at 10" walking. You can reach the hotel from airport by subway only. So much kindness from staff, good restaurant with Spanish specialities and cakes, no problems with rooms. I highly suggest doing breakfast at the hotel, so good. In front of the hotel also supermarket, bars, shops. It's a very professional hotel.

Pro: The hotel staff is really friendly and helpful. The room is cleaned every day and bed is really comfortable. Pretty nice location, close to metro (10 min) or EMT bus in front of hotel. Supermarkets Mercadona and Lidl very close to hotel. Also, there is a park and river next to hotel - for walks and relaxation. Breakfast has different pastry or fruits changed daily. Overall a very pleasant stay. 😊 ======== Con: Breakfast food is varied but kind of same food every day - only scrambled eggs every day, only potato omelette. Very poor in fresh vegetables - would be nice to have some fresh cucumbers or bell pepper or anything else. The tomatoes have no taste, unfortunately. Also, same salami or cheese daily. If you don't like their taste, there is nothing to choose from, except pastries or fruits or cereals. It would be a nice improvement to change menus for breakfast.

I’m not sure how this hotel advertises itself as a 4 star hotel. The rooms don’t even have a coffee machine, the WiFi doesn’t work half the time. The rooms are very poorly laid out with only two available charging points under a table on the TV wall and not near the beds. I reached the hotel early and despite people checking out they made me wait for four hours and refused to check us in. Only good part is the breakfast which is pretty good. Probably one of the worst hotels I’ve been to in Europe

Although the location seems a bit far from the center, but it's a perfect location: it's not as busy as the center, all you need is just minutes away (from coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants to a great shopping center); and to get in the center, just take the bus 23 in front of the hotel and with €1.5 you will be there in 15 minutes. Great customer service.

Spent there 4 nights in total. Loved the staff. They are great and helpful everywhere. My favourite was Maria, always there to help out ;) Nice, quiet and clean rooms. Need more electrical sockets though.

Comfortable beds. Clean and quiet. Liked · it is easy to find and there is a great 24 hour coffee shop directly across the street. Uber or taxis are about $10-$12 to get to the city square. Disliked · it was a little farther away from the city square than I would have preferred.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a room. This website will compare hundreds of hotel sites and typically will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is the best rated in this area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely will love it I'm sure! Without a car or taking the bus, it's pretty far from the central area but is right up the street from a mall. Plenty of eateries all around with great authentic feel and food. Rooms are great, A/C is cold and there's a friendly staff.

Nice rooms. Comfortable beds. Centric to shopping, and restaurants. Parking available. Close proximity to Madrid Río. Bar & restaurant on-site.

  • 4/5 Connie E. 11 months ago on Google
It is difficult to find a.clean table for breakfast as everyone lines up before the restaurant opens. Maybe more coffee machines would also help. Otherwise the rooms are clean and quiet.

Good rooms, great staff and excellent breakfast. However, a feedback, if a live egg counter could be added for guests who want omlettes or fried eggs, that would be a bonus!

Good hotel and staff members. Good location. Coffe machine didn't work. We reported to the reception, but they couldn't fix it before our check out.

First Room 401 is to small and should only be used as last room in hotel to fill. The bathroom layout is the worst. Clearance for toilet and badet is unacceptable. Reception did move me to room 252 which was acceptable. It made a poor stay much better.

Horrible service for a supposedly 4 star hotel. Specifically Antonio at the front desk was very rude. I had reservations at the famous Botin restaurant I had made months ago for my birthday. It was supposed to be a really special day and Antonio really made it stressful and almost ruined it. I went down to the front desk 45 minutes in advance and asked him to call me a taxi. He said there’s a taxi stand outside to the left and I said ok and went outside and there was two big tour buses where the taxi stand was and so no taxis were stopping. I waited 20 minutes and could not get a taxi and when I went back inside to ask him again to call for a taxi he completely ignored me! He didn’t look at me and said there would be taxis coming and to wait outside. I then waited another 25 minutes desperately trying to get a taxi and finally I got one. I was almost half an hour late for my reservation after waiting 45 minutes for a taxi and thankfully Botin has excellent service and was able to hold my reservation for me. The service at Hotel Praga is worthless and I would never stay here again.

Nice room, very clean, big bathroom with full size bathtub, air-condition, tv, lot of wall plugs to charge your phones, laptopos, etc. Location is not far from city center, bus stop is directly in front of hotel, but since it's located on main street in the block, no parking in front, and if you come with own car, need to go to garage under the hotel and it will cost you 20 euro per night. Bus was free this week, 20 minutes to city center, taxi from city center to hotel is around 10-12 euro, can't drive trough center if you're not the resident, so renting a car is questionable is it worth it (lot of taxi available, and traffic is mostly crazy, 3.2 million people is population of Madrid only).

The plumbing is very noisy is hard to sleep with the continuous noise from neighbors plumbing. Also our next door neighbor was making noises and talking all night and we can hear everything through the paper thick walls. Terrible last night.

Praga is a comfortable hotel just out of the tourist parts of Madrid. It is very popular with bus tour companies, so the lobby and breakfast room can be quite crowded. Beautiful walks along the river just behind the hotel and a good shopping mall just down the road. It is, however, a long walk into the old part of the city. Rooms are good and they serve a good breakfast.

  • 4/5 Oz L. 4 years ago on Google
Well located, close to a big mall. The rooms are comfortable and modern, the breakfast serves decent meal (european style). A convenient bus stop is a few steps away and there are a couple mom-and-pop restaurants nearby.

Nice big rooms, parking 20€ per day while there are many private ones if you don't leave it 24h

  • 5/5 EMANUELE S. 2 years ago on Google
It has been almost a perfect stay, nothing to say about every service in the hotel. But I do really care about my night dreams. Staying in bed till 9am in an unknown country. But hey, someone has to move every closets in the rooms, floor upside and downside. So the shows start, noise from all over the place, from 7am till 10am and from 6pm till 10 pm. Don't know what was it, but 3 day log can't endure. First breakfast service was the best ever had! International and abundant. Well done guys

There is no reason to stay at this hotel if you’re a tourist in Madrid. It’s not near anything you want to see. There is nothing around for food except a dominos. We spent a decent amount of time and money on Ubers to get to the city center. Time is precious on vacation! And the breakfast was a mad house in the morning. This hotel is for tour companies.

Thumbs up to Fernando, who yesterday managed a ton of people on his own... And keep things running, we rock by the hundreds yesterday, and I believe not the easiest bunch. Whoever Fer, kept his cool and make everyone pleased. That proves various things: -Hotel management did not foresee and mismanaged the shifts, so he ended up alone... 👎 -Either Fer is a very cool guy, or company has a very good company culture, since they did got out of their way to get things done!! 👏👏👏 The rooms were ok, and the rest as well...

Good hotel in terms of quality, position and services. Nice staff, always ready to satisfy your requests. Varied and well-assorted breakfast and even lunch, if you desire to eat in the hotel! Advised!

If you dont mind a dingy room, the location is pretty good. Got a single room on the first floor and it was noisy and felt like a cave. Would not stay here again.

The room was small but clean. The price was good for the location. The receptionists were really nice they let me check in early which was appreciated. My towels on both days had an odour of a butchers shop. Not pleasant at all. Location was good. Lidl and dominos are across the street. Shopping centre about 1km away.

  • 3/5 Edziu E. 1 year ago on Google
In general it was ok. Not bad but not excellent. Nice breakfast. They have a parking lot, extrapaid. A/C works ok. It's just a big hotel not a cosy place. The bathroom lock was broken, there was no soap. They took my pijamas and couldn't find it. Not a big loss but quite annoying. The price quality ratio is ok. Not very near to the city centre.
