Review of only about food. Egg putu kothu and egg rotti kothu were exceptional. ******************************************** Butter naan was exceptionally bad. Tried several days same experience with butter naan ****************************************** My friends weren't satisfied with the quality of Hot butter cuttlefish and i wasn't impressed with their Panner butter masala too. Internal restaurant although look fantastic with wood it has a smell so i recommend sitting outside I would have given lower rating but giving three star for exceptionally courteous waiters and pleasant outdoor seating and less crowd ambient.

Fabulous Fantastic food... After trying out many places in Jaffna town the place seems to serve good & delicious food. They have a good verities of dishes and every dish was unique & top notch. Potions are worth for price you pay. Great hospitality... Love it.. I strongly recommend J hotels...

I've stayed over a month at J HOTELS this summer. Loved the hospitality and politeness of the staff from the front desk to the bell boys, the service was impeccable. I do appreciate the impenetrable security there. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, calm, clean, and airy, especially the super luxury rooms. There's is a very beautiful garden as well. The food was amazing , I'd recommend the best kothu rotti" in town, which is usually a large portion, enough for 2 people. Kudos to the owner for providing a perfect 'home' to stay, seen him there every day, making sure the establishment runs smoothly. My stay was nothing short of a spectacular experience. Big Thanks to everyone.

One of the best restaurant in Jaffna peninsula. Very clean, Very friendly staffs. Top notch service. The mutton briyani was beyond delicious. The portion of the briyani also okey. Prawn fried rice another yummy dish. Price wise reasonable. No need to worry about parking. They have a lot of parking space. And its secured well. If you wanna have delicious meal in peaceful place I can recommend this place without any hesitation. Cheers folks.

They have a wide range of food items. Food items are commonly good in taste. Kottu and biriyani are great in taste most of the times. Sometimes they fail to maintain the standard of their quality food. Better if they could maintain it in each and every portion of the dishes.

Superb place for a safe stay in Jaffna. Their rooms and food are fully worth the price you pay and they provide drivers accomodation free of charge. They have a wide range of food that you can choose from. The staff is friendly and the service is good.

I only tried briyani,kothu,prawn nasi and fried rice. All of them are very tasty except prawn nasi..its very bad. There is only sause in that . Natural peaceful location & restaurant setup is best..but there is one man served us..he served well however not sufficient servers when we're there..so fix that issue..other wise it's an awesome experience.

Perfect location with beautiful views and well built and maintained facility. Went here for the restaurant and the food was delicious. However we found the service to be a bit slow although it wasn't busy. Would highly recommend and come back and hope they improve on the service.

One of the best places in Jaffna to have nice meal. We came to have dinner food were very good and service is excellent. Specially Radhan who was our server for the night made sure all requirements are met. Nothing troubles him. Portion size quite big and value for money is certainly met. Lovely ambiance and comfortable seating arrangements. Must visit place if you are in Jaffna.

One of my all time favourite hotels in Jaffna. The rooms were pretty clean although we did have one ant incident, even then we told the staff and they took care of it for us. The food at the restaurant was top class and the location is amazing with it being a nice place to reach all areas of Jaffna. Would definitely recommend to others.

Rating 5* given here based on various facts.. First one is compared to the money we spend.. You can get a good triple A/C room for just 6000 per night.. Room is clean.. could have been more spacious... Bathroom also good. Their restaurant is one of the finest in Jaffna currently.. Their use of spices, flavor and quality of food are mind blowing.. Full Fish fry Tin fish fry Chicken fry Mutton curry are their best dishes.. Many other options we didn't explore.. Much affordable and cost effective as well.. You can enjoy open space dining here too. They offer party spaces good for small parties and get together...

The all food we ordered was good.. we tried fried mutton noodles, fried seafood noodles and chicken briyani. Also we ordered fruit salad and watermelon juice as appetizers. The one and only minus is fruit salad because of old..not fresh one. Other than that all foods were delicious. Restaurant is well decorated with the timber interior 👌🏻 and great atmosphere also. It’s located near by A9 road ,jaffna. Great parking availability 👍 recommended. 👌🏻👌🏻✌️✌️✌️😍 we really enjoyed the food and it was made in a special way.

We came to this hotel to attend a Glocal Fair 2023 in Jaffna. This hotel is located in a really beautiful environment which is more than expected. There is a friendly quality service. I had the pleasure of staying at Jaffna JGuest this month for about eight nights. We were given an AC family room that comes with an attached washroom. There was a common living room that I used to hang out without friends and family visited us. We ordered morning tea, lunch and dinner several times and the quality of the meals and service were top notch. The care takers were very friendly and attentive. The owner Ahilan and the manager Prathab took care of everything from room reservation to checkout. I definitely recommend this place and visit again when I come to Jaffna next time. I had a very good experience here. Staff was really friendly and helpful from the beginning (from the date of reservation). They made sure that all our requests are being fulfilled. Our expectations were met! - Rooms were typical guest house type but they were clean and had two beds in every room so enough space to sleep - the staff was very friendly, helpful and provided a great service - they have their own restaurant so whenever we are tired we dont have to worry about going anywhere else to find food. They have a decent restaurant menu and the food is amazing - The distance from Jaffna town and Jaffna railway station was like 10 mins so traveling was very convenient The location is nothing fancy but u get totally worth for the price u pay and our objective was to travel and just come back to the guest house for sleeping which worked perfectly for us. Special Mention to front office staff Pradeep and Tyson who helped us and also Rajendran who served us and there was a very sweet male staff who always gave us tea we couldnt ask his name but hes there in the back of our group pic 😊

We visited Jaffna on the long weekend for Deepavali, it was a nice experience with the places visited, food and shopping too... We stayed at J guest Hotel and I recommend to anyone this place is a great place with good n tasty food, good quality clean room staff is very friendly prompt in service too. We were taken care of by the Manager Mr. Pradeep and Mr. Tyson was very friendly us thru our stay looked after us very well. Its a place to experience and just 15min to downtown.....

We stayed 2 nights with another two families, we were treated very well and the Tyson the manager was really helpful to get our tour success. The food was great as we enjoyed a lot. Location is near to the Jaffna city.

I spent almost 2 hours for my dinner last night. I couldn’t complete my meal due to too much spices on the curry. I have requested another portion with less spices and they couldn’t provide it in time. I waited enough time and decided to leave. Finally asked for the bill quickly, disappointingly they couldn’t provide the bill for more than 10 minutes. At last left the so called best reputated place with undone dinner.

I always prefer J guest jaffna because they offer luxury rooms and service at a reasonable price. the dishes are again amazing with a reasonable price and a beautiful well maintained garden is there to relax. moreover, we can have a pleasant stay in Jaffna with J guest during our vacation.

This is the ideal place to stay at Jaffna which is very close to the the city.They have luxury rooms with reasonable price. The greenish garden is very attractive and you can arrange to get your food there. Jaffna style foods are really delicious. They are not allowed outsiders to drink liquor inside the hotel. Therefore I can recommend that this is really good to stay for families as well. Parking area also quite big. Most of their staff can only speak Tamil, but Mr. Pradeep helped us more in friendly manner. All of us really enjoyed and don't hesitate to book if you plan to visit Jaffna.
