Very nice views (some of the best I’ve ever seen). However the infrastructure is not the best (no A/C, only one scanner when traveling international) and that makes it quite uncomfortable. That being said, they’re improving the installations and soon there will be a completely new terminal (maybe will be ready by early or mid 2019). This airport does not have boarding gates and instead you board through stairs which might be an issue for travelers on wheelchairs; however the staff is so nice that I’m sure they’d offer the best they can do and I personally love to board through stairs because you can take pictures and see the aircraft closer. Hopefully the improvements won’t kill the magic!

Probably the worst airport I’ve ever experiences both in arrival and departure. On arrival it took immigration around 2 hours just to process a small flight from Panama, traveling with my one year old we were put in the “fast lane” which was slower than the normal lane. The women checking passports was literally moving in slow motion, quite bizarre. Outside I gonna a trolley and headed with my bags to greet my family, only to be told I couldn’t take the trolley and that some random on guy had to do it on my behalf, I was reluctant because I didn’t have any cash on me to tip him but I had no choice, after he left my bags I found a loose dollar bill to give him he snatched it out of my hand and ran off as if it was an insult to him. On deperature the temperature inside the airport was unbearable with no air con on, every one in there sweating buckets. Also one small store that only sells Colombian sweets and fizzy drinks. Awful experience.

Almost nothing to do, very little food options and located a fair bit outside the city. Despite this has the advantage of being small so its not too bad.

I travel from and to this airport at least 5 times a year. The international terminal sucks!!! No AC, NO ceiling fans, no windows… the temperature inside is more than 80 degree Fahrenheit…. There is ZERO respect for the traveler and the staff that work on the international airport! This is not the way to treat the passengers.

Needed a taxi into town. Taxi blatantly tried to rip me off as an American. Got all his taxi friends AND a female airport staff lady in uniform to laugh at me and stare me down when I refused. Called an Uber and the woman from the airport decided to film and call in the uber driver, so screwed him and myself over. Stupid games for what? walked to the bus station 2km away. Where everyone in town was lovely. It cost me 3000 pesos instead of 30000 the taxi said was standard. Oh and the can of beer I bought at the airport also a rip off. Lady who sold it to me said 18000 pesos. Way to welcome someone to your city. It's a shame to screw around with people who legitimately want to learn and spend money. The airport should at least have its employees not be part of ripping off tourists.

Travel with Wingo or Spirit anytime (day or night) is a hell, those airlines have the gate in the second floor, no AC, no fan, 80°F at night and crowded, one time cross the check point it's over, no open stores during the night, just the vendor machine with some items that run over quickly (bring something to eat), no screen to see your flight status or someone who give information. Wingo usually is delay, no matter what, they never bring you on time. All the airlines call to board to leave everyone in another line next to the plane (rain, heat, noise, gas odor). Armenia deserves a better airport administration, to keep the "International" status.

Is small but perfect, it has a nice coffee shop, two car rental places, a little place to pray, has national and international flights and is very clean, but it lacks good restaurants, and is in serious need of chairs to sit in another place that is not the cafeteria while waiting for check-in , needs air conditioning, plugs to charge the phone or laptops, and wifi.

They are getting more efficient but still a lot to be desired. It was built only a few years ago and I haven't found one area where the air conditioning is in working order. IMPORTANT TIP: try to be as close to the front or rear of the plane when arriving. The line for immigration is slow due to the lack of personal and inefficient processes. Then you must be prepared to pass through customs where they only have two agents that ask what I consider unrevealing then they decide if you should send you belongings through a luggage scanner. If it were up to me I would send everything through the scanner and move the masses. Interview more selectively and efficiently.

No air conditioning, super hot. There’s stray dogs running around next to the gate, eating people’s food, and the airport staff does nothing. Cherry on top: the airport security confiscated my nail clippers, which I have taken all over the world without problems. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she refused, and said she doesn’t have a supervisor. Long lines everywhere, staff are extremely slow (I saw several people missed their flight waiting through the numerous lines). Wouldn’t be surprised if this airport is corrupt with a certain business...

This is a terrible airport: 1. No information - no board, no info kiosk, not even a clock 2. Nowhere to sit. Unless you visit a cafe, there are no chairs. They do not open the boarding area until very close to departure. 3. No WiFi, there are 3 open networks, none of them work. I'm giving 2 stars, because the price of the food in the cafes is very reasonable.

Expressing serious concern for the health and comfort of travelers landing at Aeropuerto Internacional El Edén. The absence of essential facilities like WiFi and Air Conditioning poses significant challenges, affecting the overall well-being of passengers. Urgent attention from the administration is crucial to ensure a safe and comfortable travel experience.

I had been here 3 times...the airport is small, but cute. Usually is super-hot inside, they don't even provide fans...is a torture to be inside. I feel sorry for the employee's. Wr filed a complaint t with Spirit Airlines. No way we will book more flights to this airport. This has been going on for more than a year.

Waiting space and facilities are very limited. Airport can be very hot as there is no A/C or fans. Because of the limited waiting space they don't allow you to enter the gates early, so don't expect to show up in time for your flight and waiting here. Do yourself a favor and wait somewhere in the city instead.

Very uncomfortable waiting area. There are no benches to sit for people waiting. It is not for lack of space. It is inconsiderate for elderly people and others. The reason could be that they want people to wait at the few coffee places in the area. However, those coffee places only have a few tables each, and they are usually taken. Please, consider having more benches to improve the airport experience.

Reviews rating a 4.1? How can it be called an international airport , it doesn’t have air conditioning , very poor working conditions to staff, they report @aeronautica refuses to provide ac as well as airlines , adults passing out due to heat , hope they do something asap

Small airport but efficient. Not much to eat/drink once inside.

The Armenia airport was very confusing. Some gates were through one security check in and some were through the opposite side. I went through the Vivaair side and looked for the screen with which plane leaves from which gate. They didn’t have one. I looked at my ticket and that also didn’t have a gate number on it. There were not staff inside to ask so I asked a girl in Spanish who was going to the same location and we then both just hoped we were in the right place. Check in and security was very fast. There was only a small cart with food inside the security area and they don’t take card payments, so make sure you have Colombia pesos for snacks or drinks (no real food available) and some entertainment if you have a long wait for your flight.

An international airport without AC!! The heat and humidity is unbelievable high...if you have babies or small children bring water to keep them hydrated. And some Advil for you.... For the headache resulting from the heat.

After construction this airport look way better than before and they are able to get more airlines to this airport. So far no problems and things are so easy

Small but nice airport. Very clean and airport employees were very attentive. While waiting to board however we were guide to wait upstairs. It was really hot and crowded. We waited in the heat for at 30minutes. There’s AC in the ground level but not upstairs.
