I was very anxious to order large meal for 10 people. It’s been almost 10 years since I ordered food from this restaurant, but I was very disappointed from quality, presentation and and food was partly warm. The restaurant used to add some generous fried almond but not any more. It was so little that we have to search for almond. I will never order food from this restaurant as it seems they have changed the quality of their food and getting somehow sheep.

I ordered Mansaf, it doesn't look too delicious but it's fine. The meat was actually quite good. They have a proper menu in both Arabic and English, with prices and everything which is rate. They offer many Jordanian classics, as well as some crazy stuff like lambs brain or testicles, enjoy!

A mediocre and over rated restaurant. It was strongly recommended as a traditional restaurant for an authentic Mansaf meal. We tried Mansaf, but the taste wasn’t great. Meat tasted really bad, rice and jameed (yogurt soup) were good. Service attendant was impatient and did not offer any information that could help us decide. I do not think it was a good idea eating here.

Super friendly and helpful staff and delicious meals. I had maqlouba there and was ok. (Arabic meal with chicken and rice). On the other side, I think the prices are a bit overwhelmed and they could be cheaper. Finally, you can find some tasty traditional sweets over there. I recommend this place for the quality of its service.

Menu 4/10 Taste 3/10 Price 7/10 Ambiance 4/10 Location 5/10 Staff Friendliness 4/10 This restaurant specializes in Palestinian cuisine and it fails at making a good first impression We got welcomed by a giant cockroach under our table and tables had a greasy surface I ordered the double meat mansaf and it was so fatty and it had a bland taste Their goozy (a meat and rice dish baked in a puff pastry) had only few small meat pieces Bottom line: not recommended

Very tasty food. I took hoummus and mutabel which were delicious. The prices are like around 1.5 jod for 1 type of apetiser. Be aware that this place might be full and some main courses might not be available due to high demand. This restaurant was a recommendatiin from the accomadation we stayed at. We receieved from the house some pita vread anf dome water. You can only pay by cash here.

I had lunch at Alquds with my family. The restaurant was easy to find and had a nice atmosphere. We ordered the mansaf. The food was delicious and authentic, and the portions were huge. We could not finish everything and had to take some with us. The bill was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. I would recommend Alquds to anyone who wants to try some of the best Middle Eastern food in Amman.

First time in this restaurant, I always heard about this place my father invited me here with my son , He used to come here in college days eating lunch , dinner with his friends ,The place talks by itself history and generations I'm watching around my table people from home ,different places and tourists eating traditional food, anyway I had the (stuffed lamb neck) served with rice and it was something delicious you don't wanna miss it in the next visit Loved this place and seeing my father happy bringing good memories.

This place serves the best mansaf in town! Traditional Jordanian Dish. I highly recommend you go there with an empty stomach and don’t plan any activities after. Mansaf can cause a serious food coma!! Completely worth it though!! It’s amazing!

I stayed in Amman for 3 days and I did went to eat in this place every time. The food is delicious, nourishin with a variety and different dishes offered every day. It's so cheap, filling with polite staff and clean environment that is difficult to beat it up. They do also offer a variety of dessert, which are so inviting.

The food and service was okay. It was nice to try some traditional food. We paid for both of us about 14 JOD which is for Amman little bit more than average but I have to say that portions were quite big. But the place seems to be very popular by locals.

One of the last recommendations from our uber driver. We wanted to try the national dish of Jordan... Mansaf. We went there right when they opened and it was a bit empty. We wanted to order the Mansaf for takeaway and they were able to accomodate that request. The food came out quite quickly and we ate it at home. Everything about the taste of this dish was amazing. From the tenderness of the lamb, to the fluffiness of the rice and lastly the tangy yogurt.. absolutely amazing. I wish I could eat this again and I would recommend it.

  • 4/5 Dan M. 1 year ago on Google
Great for trying local dishes. The fact that the place attracts locals is reassuring, and the place is recommended on various blogs and websites. Situated close to the vibrant market street.

We went there to try the famous kabsa and it was okay. The place is okay it seems to be pretty famous around the locals but i did not see what the fuss is all about. The service is okay and so are the portions. The value for the money is okay.

What a revelation! I do not think I’ve had Arabic food this good in my life. The restaurant is right in the middle of downtown Amman and it was nice to go there and enjoy the hustle bustle of the city whilst enjoying amazing food. If you ever get to go there, try the Mousakan and Mansaf. Damn that was a good meal. I still think about it.

Dirty. Brought me old fries/potatoes that sat out for so long they were cold. Veg icy, the barely warmed frozen type. Sent it back for fresh fries and they brought me a dried out hunk of chicken with it. Like microwaved. Gross. So dirty old fries microwaved?? And then a guy came in to spray for bugs in the back as they made food and people ate. Also sat me at a dirty table with filthy oily seats. Be careful of your clothes. Unhygienic in so many ways.. Oh, well, the olives are good.

It is a restaurant that sells the famous food in Jordan, called Jordanian mansaf, and all the local dishes are clean and tidy. It has a fairly large area in a popular, crowded area in central Amman. Its prices are relatively acceptable, about $10 per person with a Coca drink. The staff are kind and polite, and they serve you food on the table in a pleasant atmosphere. Family atmosphere.

  • 3/5 nagham a. 8 months ago on Google
I expected Mansaf to be greater than this thing, and my expectations were disappointed, but the food in general is delicious, the service is good, and the atmosphere is normal.

  • 3/5 Lina W. 1 year ago on Google
The place to go to either get your mansaf fix in Amman or introduce your foreign friends to the dish. While there are several restaurants in the Wast Al Balad area that serves mansaf, I was told by others that this is the best place to go for this dish. I don’t eat meat but I wanted to bring some tourists here to try the national Jordanian dish. I had their plain rice with mixed vegetables. It was good but found out they used ghee on it. There is an English menu but prices are not as low as some other restaurants in the area. They served pickles, pickled olives and fresh green chillies, and kmaj bread to complement anything one orders. They place a paper placemat too. It took a bit (but not too long) time to catch the attention of one of their several staff taking orders. So customer service is not amazing but not too bad. When I went, there were more foreigners dining there than locals.

Good place to eat Mansaf. The basic one, chicken or lamb with rice costs 6,50 JOD. We were four people and we shared two Mansaf and it was enough. Local place in the city centre.

Most staff understand English which is great, went on a Wednesday night was half tourists have local crowd. Mansaf was average tasting, portion was a good size though, not very soft, texture seemed overcooked. Jameed was nice. Place was clean and service was fast

We are tourists but of course we want to experience as a local and pay local price. This restaurant is a local restaurant, you don't get charged for 20 JD for a dish. My wife had a stuffed lamb neck which is one of the better dish and it only cost us 10 JD. Great deal and great food.

Delicious baklava! One of the best we've tried; rich and flavourful. Delicious mansaf

  • 1/5 Omar e. 1 year ago on Google
The food was basically oil with chicken, dry, bread was not fresh. The staff was very rude almost threw the dish rather than placing it infront of me. No salads or yoghurt with the meal and when we asked for it he was like you should order it, in a extremely rude way.

  • 2/5 Mohamed N. 10 months ago on Google
For those who are looking for authentic and delicious Mansef taste, please avoid this restaurant. It's not good anymore. Very bad Gameed and small piece of meat, moreover I doubt it is local sheep (Baladi). Many years ago, it was a good place to try Manasaf. Not cheap. Just forget about the old reputation and do not go there.

I have mixed feelings about this place. It was recommended by several independent people as the best. The interior was nothing wow. It reminds me of a 1980's-1990's poor restaurant. The food was nice however super quick. So it makes me think everything is precooked. We ordered few appetizers and few main courses. And all of them arrived like 10 minutes later. At once! However looking at other restaurants I would say this was a nice choice. Locals recommended it so I would go for it.

  • 5/5 Melissa F. 4 years ago on Google
I had the mansaf with 2 portions of lamb! Imo, this can easily be a 2 person meal. Definitely love this traditional Jordanian meal!!! This cost 8.50JD. Yes, pricey, but.. I've had other 7 JD meals with less quality food 🤷‍♀️

This was my first time at this pace and I went there mainly because it's the first and oldest Alquds Restaurant and heard great reviews. I had to try the Mansaf with meat! It was very good, the meat was a little dry, the Alquds on 7th circle was more mysterious. Service is not bad, can better. Bring cash because they don't accept credit cards, I didn't have cash and the owner said you can come back later to pay which was great! I landed from the airport and didn't exchange money, I had UAE 🇦🇪 currency dirhams and he accepted. I paid 20 minutes after getting the money from the car, that by itself deserved additional 🌟 !!!

👍👍 This place does not need reviews, it’s a place you just have to go to whenever in Amman full-stop, no two ways about it! An almost religious act. They only serve lamb shawarma, super fast, little to no waiting time. Very unique taste.
