Everything was great - from the very first greeting of the staff to the food and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. Super delicious glutenfree pizza that made my heart beat especially fast! The visit made my birthday even better than expected. Would love to come back!

I do not write Google reviews very often, but when I do they are either very positive or very negative. I have to say I wasn't expecting much when we came there for the first time, but I was extremely pleasently suprised. Since then we were there two times during our short stay in Ascona and we had beef fillet and lamb loin - best we had in a long time! Food is delicious and the regional beer was also very good! The service is very friendly and customer oriented. The restaurant manager was super caring and knowledgeable. The restaurant is children friendly and there's even a small playground in the back. Definite recommendation! Next time we're in Ascona we'll visit again!

I had dinner with my husband here for our anniversary and we had such a special time. Not only was the food amazing,but the staff treated us with the nicest surprises: the table was romantically decorated,they brought a cake and fireworks after dinner (+limoncello) and bought roses for us. It was a great experience. For food I recommend the saffron risotto and the lamb. The buratta is great,too

Just had a dinner that my husband organized for my birthday. The most friendly, kindest people and one of the best Italian dishes ever ! They have prepared a table with roses and mini birthday decorations (their own initiative). We had delicious safran risotto and black pizza, super unique. Then they gifted me an amazing white chocolate browni with fires and all, and sang all together for me (again my husband even didn’t know). I am flattered and lucky to meet such incredible people in my birthday... You guys are fantastic. Your food is fantastic. We will come back again soon, grazie mille ❤️

We've been there to eat and overnight. The welcome was very warm. They speak Italian, German and English fluently. The family run hotel takes really care abou their guests. The room was very clean but not the newest. The balcony was a great plus for our room. Breakfast was okay. The restaurant for dinner is really great. We had the 5 corse menu with regional specialities and everything was very delicious. I definitely will go there again.

Friendly and accommodating staff who helped us out with breakfast when we needed to leave early. However, the hotel is very expensive for what you get. The room was small and outdated with no climate control and we were given a single bottle (.33l) of water to share.

Amazing restaurant! The service was great, really nice and friendly personnel. The atmosphere in the restaurant is welcome and calm. You can choose from all pizzas on the menu and decide to take the ‘black’ dough. I can really recommend this, I’ve never had a black pizza before. The taste is the same and weirdly enough it looks more healthy ;)! Grazie mille!
