Please consider turning it off for the books floor specifically - it is entirely unsuited to this context. I visited the coffee shop at the top floor. Menu doesn't represent the truth. Greek coffee is supposed to be served with Greek sweet ( koutaliou) they called. Never got it, and when I asked, they told me they were busy. I asked again and they told me it finished but no one informed me about that when I ordered. Its not about money. I just don't like staff to play tricks with customers . I tipped the waitress even if she didn't deserve it.

Recently I placed an order from their site (specifically in 22/1/24) and one thing from the total order was from an external retailer. The rest things of the order were deliver on time but this one was delayed a few days so I decided to cancel this. The order was paid so I was waiting for a refund. 7 days later and as the refund didn’t com so I tried to communicate again with Public. They said that they will communicate with their external retailer. 5 days later the refund was still pending and I communicated again and they said the same thing. I have already communicated 6 times and they say the same thing. Today, 29/2/24 the refund has not arrived. A very very bad experience. Didn’t expect this from Public.

I do not quite understand where come so many " 5 star" ratings. I have done online purchasing with Public twice. The first time, they decided to send by two batches without informing me in advance, the second batch did arrive but I was asked for additional delivery fee, which would cost more than the two books I was expecting , so I rejected and my payment for these two books never got returned, luckily that was less than 10 euro. The 2nd time, I had to purchase books for the new semester for my child, things didn't get better, my order was done by 3 batches of delivery, again without informing me. There were information on available date of each book but you never know when they will be delivered, if you are lucky, they inform you one day in advance, if not, you would be only notified 1 or 2 hrs earlier. Yes, in their stores, you could find better looking products than some other similar stores but they are much more pricy and there are hardly any serious discounts even during the sales season. Lastly, for a company of such size, they do not have hot line customer support who can speak fluent English, what a shame! I would try my best not to shop again with this company.

The "assistance" I got on two occasions was either focused on talking me into buying THE most expensive camera/laptop cancelling out all other budget-friendly options available. I found that highly annoying and unprofessional. I just got unlucky with those two, I guess. I've had better service from other sales staff on that floor. Room for improvement 😊

Do not order online from them. They have huge delays, they use ACS the worst postal company in Greece. My package was ment to deliver from Athens to Athens. 4 km distance. It has been 10 days since i made the order! You get stuff from Amazon Germany delivered in the half the time . Step your game up or people will opt to shop from Amazon instead. Great veiw from the cafe, prices are high but the food is decent. Only issue is that the people who go there chain smoke for hours over a single cup of coffee. Even though it is outside it is often powering.
