We
went
to
Electra
for
dinner,
but
we
hadn't
made
a
reservation.
Upon
arriving
at
the
place,
we
were
attended
by
a
concierge
who
informed
us
that
there
was
no
place,
as
all
the
tables
were
reserved,
but
that
we
could
stay
at
the
bar.
We
sat
at
the
bar
and
ordered
a
few
drinks,
after
an
hour
and
a
half,
we
realized
that
there
were
several
empty
tables
that
hadn't
been
occupied
since
our
arrival.
We
called
the
concierge
and
said,
once
again,
that
we
would
like
to
have
dinner
and
that
there
were
tables
available,
but,
once
again,
we
were
denied
access
to
the
restaurant.
After
two
hours,
I
asked
for
the
manager
to
be
called.
An
employee
came
to
talk
to
us
and
we
explained
that
we
had
been
seated
at
the
bar
for
over
two
hours,
that
we
had
requested
a
table
from
the
concierge
and
were
denied,
but
there
were
many
empty
tables
since
the
time
we
arrived.
We
were
then
invited
to
sit
at
a
table,
but
the
restaurant's
kitchen
had
already
closed
the
service.
They
served
us
a
salad
and
a
plate
of
cold
meats.
In
the
end
we
asked
for
the
bill
and
were
told
it
would
be
a
courtesy
of
the
restaurant
as
an
apology.
We
hope
this
sort
of
thing
doesn't
happen
again,
with
any
customers.
The
porter
attendant
is
very
poorly
prepared
and
poorly
educated
to
receive
customers,
which
causes
a
bad
impression
of
the
restaurant
and
an
embarrassment
to
the
customer,
who,
after
all,
supports
the
business.
We
are
Brazilians
and
we
know
that
in
Brazil,
this
kind
of
thing
would
never
happen,
after
all,
the
restaurant
survived
on
sales
and
if
there
are
vacant
tables,
why
not
allow
someone
who
has
not
made
a
reservation,
but
is
there
to
pay
for
the
service
not
having
it?
