I had made an appointment for an Ultrasound about 10 days ago because I had specifically asked for 9:00 in the morning, which is also the first appointment of the day, as I am working. I arrived at 8:55, the ultrasound room was empty with a student waiting. Around 9:10 the doctor put the student down. Then an old lady appeared. I told the receptionist that I was working and wanted to keep my appointment. The doctor ignored me and at 9:30 put the lady in. At 9:45 another lady came and put her in, rudely asking me in front of everyone waiting if I was "straining" enough to pee (while I had drunk 2 liters since 7:00) to justify the extra appointments she wedged . These are unacceptable not only because we are workers but also because extra appointments mean only one thing: the examination will be done on the leg to catch up with everyone. Let the doctor see to it that he starts at 7:00 if he wants to avoid losing revenue. The schedule must be strictly adhered to and appropriate time devoted to incidents. Needless to say I got up and left.
