Michel and Dorothy are your Franco-Irish hosts of the mostest, bringing real hospitality and real food to Beny Bocage. Their fish and chips is second to none and their service with a smile tops the whole experience up with a wonderful warmth that Normandy sorely needs!

Absolutely amazing place! Full of Irish spirit, design and products. Food is fantastic. Never had so delicious fish and chips. I can recommend you ginger beer as well!

Real entertainment from both the staff and the French Irish musicians. Food was really enjoyable, as was the Stout and Guinness . Will be back, maybe breakfast this time .

Went to La Cave du Bénit (AKA The Irish Corner) in Le Beny Bocage on the afternoon of the Feast of the Assumption public holiday. What a find! A lovely place with a great atmosphere, very welcoming and friendly hosts (Irish and French speaking!), sausage baguette and frites supplied by a local caterer and live music all afternoon from local musicians. Although the weather wasn't great and we were sitting outside (under a vast open sided marquee!), the music and good company kept everyone (50:50 French and English) warm, dry and in good spirits. Will be going back ...

Thursday night is fish and chip supper night. Zero Guinness or Kilkenny depending on whether you are driving or not. Great selection of wines and spirits from the off-licence.

We went for the Irish breakfast, first Sunday of the month. Absolutely perfect 👌 and such friendly service. Even got a cuddle as we left. There's lots of bargains in la cave too.
