What a find! Besides the kindness and professionalism (he knows his wines and food, and that's not -unfortunately- a given in Paris) of the owner, the settings of this little and quaint spot in the 14th district is charming, and immediately the atmosphere for lunch/dinner. You'll have a local and home-made French food accompanied by wine, carefully selected and suggested by the owner. The menu is quite simple and written on the blackboard: only planchas garnished with local French product (make sure to ask and try the different type of mustards). We opted for aligot (purée and French cheese), gésiers (gizzards) and the terrine planchas. All were tasty and well seasoned. Both chesnut cake and chocolate fudge were the perfect conclusion for this meal. Price-wise: a little bit above the average for Paris standards but definitely worth it. My take: we will be back to try other main dishes. Go for it, you won't be disappointed. Plus: Next door is a wine cellar run by the same owner. No wonder why he knows his wines!

Excellent little bar, with great choice of wine and food. Highly recommend it. The owner takes time to recommend and explain wines and food. And he knows his stuff. Extremely pleasant guy, but also not intrusive. And if you buy a bottle to go, it's very affordable. The place is very cosy. Couldn't say enough good things about it, really.

Arrived for a drink, the host picked a good wine that suited our taste. We were given a tasty cheese to accompany the wine without asking! I reccomend this place and it is definately worth a revisit.
