BUYER
BEWARE!!
You

September
13,
2023
I
was
excited
about
visiting
with
family
in
different
states,
possibly
a
few
military
installations
I’d
been
stationed
on
and
a
few
zoos
as
I
am
always
wanting
to
visit
those
I
have
not
visited
yet.
I’m
doing
this
all
while
traveling
from
NY
back
to
Cali.
So
far
I’ve
had
a
nice
time.
Now
I’ve
made
it
to
Atlanta
where
I’m
looking
to
spend
some
time
here
at
a
B&B
while
visiting
the
sites.
I’ve
located
this
place
called
Alicia
B&B.
Once
I
arrived,
and
woman
running
B&B
would
not
even
look
at
or
speak
to
me
at
first.
Then
when
she
did,
she
snapped
at
me
with
an
attitude
telling
me
there
are
no
rooms
available
when
there
were
three
Basic
rooms
and
1
Deluxe
room
available
listed
with
Expedia,
Travelocity,
TripAdvisor
and
several
other
travel
agencies.
She
told
me
that
I
looked
suspicious.
If
I
looked
suspicious,
why
didn’t
she
call
the
police?
I
said
to
the
woman
that
I
should
be
able
to
look,
take
pictures
of
the
outside
and/or
drive
by
a
place
before
deciding
to
stay
there.
The
woman
does
not
want
people
to
see
the
property
before
booking.
She
wants
people
to
book
online
before
coming
out.
I
took
2
pictures
and
attempted
to
walk
up
the
front
door
stairs
to
knock
on
the
door
when
the
woman
came
walking
up
the
street
asking
me
what
I
was
doing.
I
said
I
wanted
to
knock
on
the
door
to
ask
if
any
rooms
were
available,
as
the
site
said
there
were
available
rooms,
at
which
point
the
woman
said
there
were
no
more
available
rooms.
I
also
told
the
woman
that
I
had
called
twice
leaving
messages
inquiring
about
availability.
I
asked
if
it
was
because
I
am
white
that
she’s
telling
me
that
there
are
no
vacancies.
The
woman
is
black
and
nose
was
stuck
in
the
air.
I
only
took
the
pictures
of
the
place
to
send
to
my
husband
to
let
him
know
where
I
was
planning
on
staying.
I
asked
the
woman
to
speak
with
my
husband.
She
was
reluctant,
but
decided
to
after
I
told
her
that
my
husband
is
black.
Here’s
my
husband.
I
started
by
telling
her
that
my
wife
is
a
30
year
US
Marine
Corps
Veteran.
She
is
coming
across
the
country
from
NY
to
Cali,
and
wanted
to
visit
a
couple
of
zoos
on
the
way
with
Atlanta
being
one
of
them.
She
wanted
to
stay
relatively
close
to
the
zoo
and
other
nearby
attractions.
She
thought
she
had
found
the
perfect
place
as
this
B&B
was
only
a
couple
miles
away
from
all
she
wanted
to
see,
and
it
was
reasonably
priced.
It
was
also
listed
in
what
was
considered
a
safe
place.
The
woman
paused,
then
snapped:
“Well
there
are
no
vacancies!”
I
held
my
peace,
kept
a
level
head
thinking
that
I
might
be
able
to
win
her
over
and
informed
her
that
I
was
online
looking
at
three
Basic
and
one
Deluxe
vacancies.
She
said:
“Then
book
them
online!”
I
asked,
“Why
book
online
when
my
wife
is
right
there?
She
then
told
me
again
that
she
has
no
vacancies.
I
asked
her
if
she
could
then
update
her
listing
to
indicate
no
vacancies
so
that
the
customer
doesn’t
have
to
go
through
the
hassle
of
fighting
for
a
refund
since
it
states
online
the
rooms
are
nonrefundable.
She
then
sharply
said:
“Don’t
argue
with
me!”
I
told
her
I
wasn’t
arguing.
I
was
just
saying
that
the
site
should
be
updated
to
prevent
the
customer
from
the
troubles
that
one
should
not
have
to
endure.
Then
she
hung
up
on
me.
For
the
record,
again,
it
initially
had
vacancies.
I
later
went
back
in
and
it
showed
the
following
for
the
time
period
we
wanted.
As
you
can
see
from
the
picture
below,
she
apparently
updated
it
to
no
vacancies.
Then
I
decided
to
check
the
following
day
to
see
if
it
was
available.
As
you
can
see,
it
is.
See
next
two
screenshots.
It’s
amazing
how
this
woman
says
it’s
not
racial
discrimination,
and
she
wasn’t
racially
motivated
to
not
entertain
my
white
wife,
but
no
sooner
than
my
wife
depart
the
area
only
a
couple
of
hours
or
so
later,
the
rooms
miraculously
become
available
(for
the
time
period
my
wife
wanted),
in
the
exact
same
numbers
as
before;
three
Basic
and
one
Deluxe.
Now
just
how
coincidental
is
that?
