A cool green area next to Tanyard Creek, which is an "urban creek" connected to sewerage. The "park" area is a little green open field & and a trail (also known as Northside trail) that is cool to walk/run through. The trail is part of the Beltline project. Some street parking is available on Walthall drive and there is a parking lot on Collier called "Northside Trail Parking" on Google Maps, with space for 5-6 cars. Overall this is a very pleasant local park with a good view of Tanyard Creek itself, but no meant to handle lot of traffic. There is a small playground attached to Walthall Dr. No restrooms.

This park was exactly what my partner and I needed on our visit. It was calm and relaxing with lots of space to walk, run, bike, sit, or play around. There were many families here, locals walking their dogs, and friendly people. We saw two parks in the distance that we walked and both were put to great use. If you need a place to be at peace or be away from all the craziness in the world, I highly recommend you come to Tanyard Creek Park!

I love this park! Right on the beltline trail and lots of amazing natural light and vibes. It's always quiet and good spots for meditating. Currently there are about 10 great homes for sale in the area. If you are looking to buy or sell, contact me, your Homegirl Danielle on Facebook.

Good Park hidden in the cut with a lot of open space. What is awesome is that it has the BeltLine trail running through and you’re able to get a good workout in. The scenery is beautiful and picturesque, we will definitely be taking our children back again to take in more details 😊

This trail is very relaxing, open, and has areas for dogs to really have fun, too. Nature, water, sun, and a nice distance to walk. All there. Dog friendly!

I accompanied my daughter's to this park because they wanted roller skating While this park may be a little small for this activity it is a intimate park if you have small children.. I located to shaded children's park on my walk and some turtles sunbathing. If you enlarge the photos you should see the mommy and baby turtle.

Really nice park for running, walking, picnics as well. By a golf course. Parking isn't too bad either since you can street park by the trails

Good trail for walking and biking. Lots of bridges and great view of the golf course. Definitely recommended to anyone. Great place to start would be the Tanyard Creek Parking which has almost 10 cars to park. The bike trail was nearly 3 miles long with good elevation and decend for casual fun.

Hard to get around (especially if you have any mobility issues!!) due to the muddy lawns. Nice playground, and it's on the beltline! I also noticed they seem to have burnt (or painted?) mulch "asphalt" on some of the stairs leading down, which was really comfy to walk on. FYI, Google lead me to a sign but not the main parking lot, so maybe it's easier from there.

I love parks that offer a trail and view. Walking and talking with friends is fun . My journey is about healing. It’s an inside job to Hapiness !

This park is amazing. It has a trail that i believe is apart of the beltline. A play area for kids that includes slides, monkey bars and swings. It has a creek and meadow that gives the best scenic views and is very soothing and relaxing for a picnic, meditation or working out. Dog friendly and close to the Food truck park!!

Grounds are nice but a bit snakey. Keep your guard up and keep an eye on your dogs. Spotted two copperheads in a single half-hour. Otherwise, nice park.

Good place for children, pets, exercise or just a walk to clear your mind. Great scenery and location. Parking is not terrible because there's plenty of places you can do so. Plenty of shade for hot days too.

Loved it! Beautiful park and scenery was really great! Didn't know it was connected to the belt line. Nice Creek. Beautiful neighborhood. Have to explore more. I was just driving by and decided to stop.

This park is really lovely. I love the creek, the open fields, and the Beltline. As a photographer, it’s a quintessential spot for fall photos.

Tanyard is a sweet little park that’s very beautiful and peaceful. I loved seeing families and groups of people playing games in the grass or walking the Beltline Trail. The trail is great and very scenic. Perfect for pets, kids - the whole family.
