Definitely not a take a walk type of park. This park is a home for most homeless people in downtown Atlanta. We often go there to feed the homeless.

Great park to help the less fortunate. Our church was able to go and pray and offer it hygiene products. Was nice to see that people care about others. Saw many pathfinders from another location. Was awesome work.

The homeless had MESSED THE AREA UP. The park itself is fenced off. On weekends it gets disgusting

Hurt Park is filled with those of the underserved community. I'm in a homeless group Good Day, Good Deeds and every 3 Saturday of the month our organization feed the homeless. We provide hot meals prepared onsite with a DJ. Food and entertainment. The joy we are able to bring warms my heart.

They have really cleaned this place up recently. It used to be a homeless encampment that always smelled like pee and trash but now they've done some landscaping and have some fences up. The rats are now enjoying it all to themselves. Glad they updated it, places like this we're why many folks I know avoid downtown

We were visiting from out of town and drove by thinking we might chill here for a bit. But we ended up just driving by since we were looking for more of a picnic area.

WOODRUFF PARK: named for the wealthiest man in Georgia history...Mr. Woodruff was a top-notch giver, who did not mind giving to let "the city in a forest" shine!

If the name does not keep you away then the abundance of homeless people might. If you are a GSU student, you should stay away.
