👍👍 Excellent park. We held an Eid festival here with hundreds of people in attendance. There is a baseball field, basketball court underneath a covering, and a walking path which we had a train ride on for the kids. We were able to have a basketball tournament, food trucks, bazaar area, entertainment,... People often mention park, nice, basketball, Nice, kids, clean, court, tennis, area, playground,

Excellent park. We held an Eid festival here with hundreds of people in attendance. There is a baseball field, basketball court underneath a covering, and a walking path which we had a train ride on for the kids. We were able to have a basketball tournament, food trucks, bazaar area, entertainment, bouncy castles, spoken word, and prayer.

Today I went to the Malcolm X festival. It was really nice. This park has always been a really nice clean quiet park though. The neighbors as well as the city try to keep it clean. A nice area with equipment for children to play and a basketball as well as tennis court.

My dog loves this park. He's excited the moment I'm parking, lol... Quiet, clean, and cute little walking trails through the small residential neighborhood park. Tennis court, covered basketball court and playground , a baseball field, and water fountains throughout.

The turnaround is slow, but you can tell that the city of Atlanta is interested in improving this community. You can see people roller skating, playing tennis, frisby, and a host of other activities. Nice area.

This park was fun but needs some TLC. Some of the playground equipment was broken or malfunctioned. A young girl was swinging in the swing, and the swing just broke, which caused a bit of damage to her leg. As for the space, it was fun. We had a family fun day played tug of war, had plenty of food, and a nice clean pick up game of basketball.

I love this park. I live close by and walk my dog here almost every day. There’s great green space, basketball courts, tennis courts and a play area for kids. Community events are often held here on the weekends as well. The murals of Black Muslim leaders are beautiful and a reminder of the historical context of the park itself. My only wish is that it was appropriately called Malcolm X park.

Covered basketball court makes excellent location for yoga & meditation events. Ample street parking. Large green space. Well-kept playground. Less than half mile from the West Atlanta Beltline

Enjoy the scenery of outside, noise from the playground, or birds, and squirrels. Ideal for connecting back with self on a trail walk, or a picnic in the park. Available restrooms, pet friendly and comfortable for all

Sadly this park has a lot of potential but there are issues with homeless men sleeping on the slide and litter around the playground. It’s a good tennis court for the area and a covered basketball court.

Nice park. I would suggest that the city pick up around there and add a Dog Waste Station. Went with the dog this time and I would bring my daughter here.

Trash everywhere!!! The lawn gets so overgrown!! The playground is broken in numerous places. We have filed numerous complaints but its apparently all the same folks not doing anything. We spoke with cleta winslows office and they made promises they never met.

I always have a hood time at the west end park. Just walking around playing basketball tennis softball baseball or soccer you have the space in the West End park for that. Oh yeah BBQ areas are also available 😋

Very small, but decent park. Gets 2 stars because it doesn't have any restrooms. A public park, but NO restrooms...makes NO sense!

Was there for the Malcolm X Festival & I loved it. Gentrification is trying to take the neighborhood but if we stick together we can beat back the colonization of our community.

Great Park as long as the county parks and rec do their jobs to keep play ground clean from homeless and drug addict debris left behind.

What makes this park special is Damien, a personal trainer who shows up at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesdays. I go up at 8:30 for a 15 minute total body stretch session and feel like a million bucks when I leave.

My kids had a great time. Shaded with mature trees so not too much sun on your head when you're out playing. Not much parking so be prepared to circle the block or park down the street.

Great family atmosphere. Nice tennis courts, baseball field, green space for pic-nicks and even a play ground for the kids. During the summer they have family oriented events such as the Malcolm X Festival with live music, arts and crafts and delicious food!
