This is a nice peaceful park even though there's plenty of people there. The view around you is amazing and gives the park so much energy. The park is in walking distance to the world of coke, aquarium, college football hall of fame and so much more. The view at night when the lights come on is great! You just feel Atlanta in this park. Great place for a picnic and to come throw the football with your kids. I'll definitely be going back to write some poetry, read, and even just to chill in a peaceful place. It's dog friendly for all dog owners. Depending on where you park you may have to walk a little to get in the park. Most parking areas are $20 and up to park with no time limit but no overnight parking.

A very iconic park with historic significance location at the heart of Downtown Atlanta. The area is vast ans located right beside the World of Coke and next to the Atlanta skyline. This park is perfect for a weekend outing or a family picnic. You will find plenty of couples also. There is no entry fee. The park is very well maintained. Would surely recommend to visit this place.

This park is a worth visit if you are on a trip to Georgia aquarium or the Coke factory. It lies just beside them within walking distance. Parking is a bit difficult since it is in downtown and no street parking is available most of the times. The entry is free of cost for the park. There are plenty of paid parking places around the park from $10-$20.

Very beautiful park for the 1996 Olympics. You don’t need a lot of time to make it through the park and it is near a lot of places of interest that are around so makes a great quick hit.

Excellent park for a cool walk. This park is so beautiful and well maintained and is surrounded by many tall buildings. This park is 10 minutes walk from Peachtree Marta station. This park is very big and a best place for family get-together. This park also has good photography opportunities.

Nice space in a busy city. Visit the park and just walk, sit or bring the kids to play. It’s been a minute since the 1996 Olympics and this area was abuzz with international voices and the spirit of the world coming together for the best in athletic competition. That is of course when someone tried to darken the event but alas the human spirit and the City of Atlanta showed perseverance. Visiting the park conjures up history for me and the victory of a metropolis that continues on, adapting and showing resilience. Enough of history. Visit this park and enjoy the fountain and maybe take in the nearby attractions.

I visited Centennial Olympic Park during the Christmas holiday. It's a very walkable park with a nice balance of open-air and wooded spaces. I recommend visiting the entire park if you can as it's something that can be completed in an hour or so. There are plenty of nearby attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium and the Coca Cola Museum.

The Centennial Park is free and it's location is in the heart of Downtown, Atlanta! There are great places nearby, so you will not be bored. It's a huge park where you can hang out with friends & family. We went to Atlanta at December so the weather is really nice! I like the coldness while walking! The park is also a good place to exercise. A lot of people are doing it in the area. We also enjoyed the view, the establishments nearby and the buildings!!! This is free so I recommend you stopping by if you plan to visit Atlanta, GA!

1st time ever visiting Centennial Olympic Park but it was pretty cool. A lot of the attractions here were closed tho I'm assuming do to Covid so the only thing we really saw were the Olympic Rings...I was more so taking my kids to see the water show and how the fountains change colors but that's not operating now. A bunch of the lil vendor restaurants in the park were closed as well. All in all it was still cool to visit and see the rings and the one fountain that was operating.

I actually love this park in the center of the city of Atlanta so much. I said my vows and got married here. On the Quilt of rememberance. It's a nice size park well maintained with water sprinklers that shoot from the ground and water fall fountains. A few large fields and a picnic gazebo. It also has a stage area for performances and festivals.

This is such a relaxing fun environment in the middle of downtown Atlanta! When the weather is beautiful you can spend hours playing in the open. The Olympic rings are a great photo op! When we went the water springs were not functional. But those are great entertainment for children! Lots of great restaurants within walking distance of the Centennial Olympic Park.

This is one of the free places to visit for free in Atlanta. Centennial Park is in the heart of Downtown Atlanta, very close to the Mercedes stadium that hosted the Atlanta 1996 Olympics. It is a vast park for walking around and relaxing with fresh air... It's an excellent place to enjoy the view, take pictures, and have an amazing time reminiscent of the memories of Atlanta '96. I recommend you stop by if you plan visiting Atlanta, GA!

This is my first time visiting Atlanta and even though I’m just staying for a day I had to come to the Centennial Park. It’s just beautiful! Everything is really clean and organized, the grass is the most soft ever and the ambient is just perfect. Will be back for sure!

Lovely park in downtown Atlanta. The place is kept clean and safe by the employees & police. Drinking fountains are available, there’s splash fountains for kids to play in, wide open grass spaces for picnics or outdoor games. At the northern part near the aquarium, there’s a big playground for kids too. My only complaints: it is public, homeless people tend to lurk around the edges of the park; the center (grass area) of the park has very little shade which makes it pretty useless in the summer months.

Cool place to visit and chill or to rest from seeing sights. Prime location, as the aquarium, civil Rights museum, Coca-Cola museum all kind of converge on this space. Also nearby is several restaurants, waffle house a burger joint, horses pulling carriages (not sure if this is seasonal or not). The sky view Atlanta is also right here. Mercedes-Benz stadium is just under a mile away.

I recently went here for the Outkast At Last concert and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I was in the general admission section that is towards the back of the park so I was concerned that I may not be able to see the show. I was shocked by the view that I had. The lines were decent and the park was extremely cleaned. I hope that Centennial Olympic Park hosts more concerts in the future.

A great place to chill, read, or enjoy the company of others doing the same. Lots to do and see here, and the environment is clean and well maintained. The park centralizes access to the Georgia Aquarium, College Football Hall of Fame, Center for Civil and Human Rights, and the World of Coca-Cola. A great SkyView ferris wheel provides breathtaking views of the city. Do nothing or everything in this amazing city center.

Centennial Olympic Park is located in downtown Atlanta and was built to celebrate 100 years of Olympics, this legacy was created and now lives long in memory. There is many links to the 1996 games such as the massive plaque and the towering Olympic flame torches, there is a fountain stream which is a nice touch, the memorial lives on. It’s a great park, it’s surrounded by buildings, offices and hotel which all over look the park. It has many aspects within its vast space, there is pop up jet streams to cool the little ones in this searing heat, there is a small playground for the little ones, the grounds are impressively impeccably maintained. The Olympic Centennial Park is used from time for events and functions and festivals, I attended the pre 4th July Independence Day celebrations, the event was a ticket only the perimeter was sealed, outside could still see. The celebration started with various mini games, there was classical orchestra music, the music moved onto other music themes before the main event of the fireworks, the fireworks were spectacular, it was quality it went on for at least almost an hour with upbeat music background, this was fireworks at its very best in a spectacular setting.

You can see the fountain the greenery the fountains. It’s a beautiful place. You can even have a picnic there if you want it to you or just walk and hold hands with your significant other arches. Very nice park in downtown Atlanta. Great place to go for walks, and you get to admire the beautiful skyline of Atlanta from within the park. Very beautiful and clean park and lots of water fountains, too, so you don't have to worry about getting dehydrated while you're out there in the heat. Everything is just walking distance too from within the park since you're in downtown.

Had a chance to visit Atlanta in Sept. The weather is abt the same in Singapore, good public transport connectivity between airport and downtown. The place reminds me of Sydney with high rise buildings and a good mix of American/Asia/Japan/Spanish food. Not much sight-seeing but a good place for family as they have nice parks and beautiful houses.

Close to the downtown, perfectly located between sports halls. Park is dedicated to the Olympic games that were held in Atlanta 1996, and is all about that. There is Olympic sing on the entrance, names of the olympics in the bricks on the floor, and big Olympic sign fountain in the middle. Lot of green fields, park is beautiful. Can't miss it if you're in Atlanta.

Located in the City Centre, this is the site of the 1996 Olympics. The park was supposed to be a place to gather for groups, and was the site of a domestic terror pipe bomb during the ceremony that was found by a security guard saving the lives of a lot of people. Lots of history here, and a beautiful location to view the sites and city. Many activities are within easy walking. The CNN headquarters and tour, Altanta Aquarium, Coke Museum, College Football Hall of Fame and more. Definite must see in any Atlanta Trip.

Centennial Park Atlanta... Large Park in the heart of the city downtown Atlanta. Good central location and walking access to surrounding sites such as the Georgia Aquarium or the College Football Hall of Fame. The lawns are well kept and in good condition. Overall clean and well kept, walkways are wide and easily accessible. Commemorates and named after the Olympic games of 1996... Famous for Richard Jewell and the Centennial Park bombing of that same year. Previously an industrial zone... with vacant lots.

Went here for a quiet Christmas eve dinner with my wife and son. Food was average at best (cooked wrong temperature, lots of fat and bone and would not allow substitution for side). The last straw was when I noticed the following day we had drinks charged on our tab that were not ours. When you spend $ 470 plus, things should be near perfect. Definitely displeasured.

Great park. The fireworks show was also great but the ticketing was not. I think BigTicket did it, the lines were slower than the airport on a holiday and inconsistent - half our group had to show their ID (why?) and half did not.

Very beautiful park, the good thing is that it is free! The park is clean and well managed. Nice area to walk or sit , kids are able to play and run, worth to see this park as there are several 1996 Olympics symbols spread around the park. If you're going to visit the Atlanta aquarium or Coca-Cola museum, go and visit this park as well.

Ok Atlanta…not bad! This park is a gem. There is an amazing view no matter which direction you look. More than that, it is a well-preserved site of a hopeful time in Atlanta’s history. The memorial section is a testament to the persistent triumph of light over darkness. A stubborn refusal to allow the bombing to affect the aspirations of the city, the athletes, and the nations attending the Olympics. Atlanta’s continued investment into this park’s upkeep since the 1996 Olympics feels like a determination to press forward to a better tomorrow despite the challenges that every large city faces. It was a treat to have been there and a memory that I’ve decided to take with me. Thank you, Atlanta!
