Nice place to take any child 2-10. Plenty of open space, free parking and very quiet despite being directly in Memorial Drive. Even a restroom. 👍🏾

Home of the PGA champion tour and FedEx cup. The grounds were impeccable and they did a nice setup with the tents and places to get concessions. Unfortunately it was brutally hot when I went in August of 2023.

Ended Mother's Day here and a perfect touch to our picnic. The park is well equipped and kept clean. Lots of field space. I looked for signs for more information regarding the recreation house. Anywho we definitely will be back. Very pleasant and beautiful day in the park.

I recommend anyone to bring their kid(s) here. There are swings for young kids but only one working swing for adults. There are many slides and, monkey bars, you name it. There is a basketball court and a separate area to host barbecues and or birthday parties. Very good shade too!!

This review is regarding the tennis courts specifically. Went to play on a Sunday morning. The positives are the courts have lights and most of the leafs and debris were blown off. That’s where the positives end. This is NOT tennis court surface even though there are nets. The most horrible surface to play on. It’s an asphalt/concrete. The balls bounce sideways because the surface is uneven. And the nets are shot. You can’t raise it to the current height. These people who live nearby clearly desire good courts. There were 2 sets of people waiting for us all to finish up. The residents pay enormous taxes and deserve better!!

4.5 starts easily.... solid playground next to both the tennis courts and the basketball courts which offers a nice variety of things to do while still being able to keep an eye on your kids (it goes without saying... please don't leave younger kids unattended- just saying) that said the lake from East Lake's Golf Course is right across from the park which adds a great visual to an already serene area. Fun for all ages, great place to picnic and play away the day ❤

This park is a true gem on the East side of Atlanta. The playground was built by neighbors with public/private support, the community center was renovated through neighborhood effort, and it's usually a quiet tree filled spot of paradise on the north side of the East Lake Golf Course.

Love this place! Park is large enough to have plenty of space but not too large you can't watch your kids from across the park.

A relaxing place to walk my dogs other than the number of patrons that sit at the picnic area, no one bothers me, great view of golf course, nice playground and my dog loves the stray tennis ball ☺️🐶🐶🥎⛳

  • 4/5 Jessica H. 10 months ago on Google
One of the kids swings had vomit in it and there was trash left from kids I assume. Be nice if people would clean up after themselves. Otherwise a nice neighborhood park.

  • 1/5 Quan H. 10 months ago on Google
There's no restroom to use because the restroom is closed and it's way on the other side of the park of the public area. The public area is okay except for when domestic violence and shooting was going on some woman was out there beating up her man and shooting off her gun

I can only go on the weekends at the moment and I'm currently working on my healthy activity and family time. The East Lake Park promotes that at a high level! My wife and I feel safe, there's lots of families around, basketball/tennis courts, playgrounds for our niece and the noise is more nature and people focused. All in all, this is by far the best park in the Decatur/East Lake area.
