This park is so incredibly beautiful and lush, I often forget I'm in Atlanta. It has an abundance of trails for walking, hiking, or biking, and a wide green space for frisbee, picnics, or other activities. The river that babbles though is very scenic with all its many little waterfalls and bridges that make for excellent photos. Moss, mushrooms, and flowers are always giving the place color; fall is spectacular, as the trees are all bright red. It's quiet and peaceful. Perfect for walking your dogs, and forgetting about the city for a bit.

Pretty low-key trail unworthy of being called a "wildlife sanctuary" due to size. It's a good way to kill an afternoon before going to dinner at nearby Indian or Ethiopian restaurants. Trails are not intense and don't have enough signage to prevent you from accidentally ending up behind someone's house/backyard.

Excellent hidden nature trail! Great trails for walking/running. Plenty of trees to shield you from the sun rays as you walk. This place is pet friendly but dog must be on a leash at all times. The park has an open meadow for holding outdoor activities. I've seen people hold picnics, play Frisbee, practice yoga or just enjoying a sunning day on a blanket. The creek that flows through the park is probably my favorite thing. I often sit nearby and listen to the water flow. There is plenty of free parking. I definitely recommend this place.

This is an amazing park and nature preserve in the middle of North Druid Hills. The woods here are beautiful and lush and even though it is surrounded on all sides by residential and shopping areas, it feels as if you are in the middle of a large forest. The loop trail is nice for a short hike and clearly marked!

An excellent urban greenspace in the midst of the sprawl behind Kittredge Park, the Sanctuary is rather small, yet the trails are pleasant and dog-friendly, with pleasant views of the forest and the local creek. An easy stroll for a couple of hours, listen to the birds and watch the squirrels, a nice afternoon getaway. As a bonus, Kittredge Park features a playground, ball fields and a swimming pool. Bring the kids by for a fun outing.

Not too shabby. There is grass and trees and stuff what more do you want. Also a nice creek. There were some children playing in that creek. It was disturbing. They slouched around almost in slow motion as I began to think back... back to some of the darker days........... Pretty good park.

Very easy hike with some uphill climbs. Not good resources in terms of maps for what the path is so we just wandered.

Beautiful spring flowers! Unfortunately, though, I was constantly worried that we were entering private property. Some (unmasked) locals made me feel a little uncomfortable, even though I believe we were absolutely within the park. Study a map before you visit!

Nice little park for a hike. It's not very long, though. It takes me about 20 minutes to get through one loop. Usually I turn around at the end and add a few more detours along the way to get an hour long hike in. It has some pretty steep hills, which is good for my workout, but if you're looking for a more casual stroll, maybe try a different park. The scenery is nice, but once the leaves fall, the park feels even more tiny.

Looping trail great for walking, birdwatching, and being in the woods in the city. Saw some trilliums and wild ginger today. Unfortunate takeover of the forest in general by the ubiquitous british ivy.

Been here 2 times, it's okay nothing special, the trails are short, and theres nothing that fascinating to see except for a small waterfall and a 30-40 foot ditch.

Nice little trails. Not very long, only about a mile around to do the Loop Trail.

Not as beautiful or as well-maintained as a park could be, but still a nice place to escape the stress of the city. Good for walking and running, but beware of moderate climbs. No facilities there (no toilets or water fountains etc.), except that there is a playground at the edge of the park.

Trail loops that are surprisingly long. Streams to stare at. Wonderful bird watching. Hidden behind Adams stadium, and pretty quiet despite being close to major roads.

Looks like a nice place to hike. But, when I was here at 3:55 P.M. August 30 2021 it was a downpour.

This park is cringe. You can't go anywhere in it without awkward encounters with men who are cruising.
