Nice paved trail which is great for running, biking, walking, etc. As someone who isn’t from Atlanta this was a great way to enjoy the outdoors and tour a bit of the city without sketchy areas or getting lost (although we all have phones, it’s sometimes good to disconnect) WORTH the time, I would suggest not using any of the spin or Bird or any of those scooters because it cost me and my friend almost $15 each to utilize them.

A very nice scenic trail that runs through plenty of businesses. The only downside is that it can get very crowded at times.

In Atlanta there are various "Beltline Trails". This one focuses on the hits of midtown. From the start of Piedmont all the way to Krog, you can take the trail safety while exploring various restaurants. About 3 miles out, the land is paved and relatively new. The story goes that the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail was thought up from 1999 from a Georgia Tech student who then saw it to fruition 13 years later. When walking you hear people explaining the history of the park along the walk. You can rent out scooters if you wish. There is some construction along the way as they continue to build new businesses, condos and apartments, but its great for roller staters, bikers, and joggers. Its about 3.5 miles long of flat land but you can extend out if time permits. Feels safe at all times. Great things: -many restaurants -restroom breaks along the way -links to Piedmont park -the sides have various artwork from the locals in the area

Nice paved trail. Great for running, biking, walking, etc. As a non-ATL local, it was a great way to get exercise and tour the city without getting lost. The trail access was very close to my hotel and easy to find. Fun time! I explored about 5mi to the south of my hotel past Piedmont Park, Midtown and Ormewood Park. Worth my time for sure and a great 10mi run too!

It was the morning after a big day in the big city and I was still adjusting to the southern heat and humidity. There was only one way to get this over with and get used to the new environment: go out there and sweat it all out. I chugged as much water as my stomach could plausibly handle and pulled on my slightly ragged but ever-stylish jorts, since this was a trip I pulled off with a small carry-on only, and stepped outside shirtless and began walking. My family mentioned that I’d see the big paved bikeway/walkway just near the bridge, and indeed I found it quickly. As I picked up the pace to a steady jog, I basked in the comfort of how wide and spacious the beltway felt. Being from a smaller city, I was awestruck at the plethora of smiling faces all around me, all of us there with presumably the same goal of drenching ourselves in our own perspiration for the effect of better physique and the rewards of endorphin-inspired pleasure. Now about a mile into my run, I suddenly realized how soon I’d head home and how this was really my only chance to prance around on this beautiful concrete pathway of pleasure. And prance I did. First just skipping a bit, and then fully jumping up toward the sky with my arms aloft, as if I might boost myself several meters high. I smiled and laughed, I twisted and I spun. I soon turned around to head back, sweaty as ever. My objective was accomplished and I’ll never forget: Atlanta’s big beltline pathway, the sweat, the smiles, the prancing along in front of the trailside brewery. Absolutely delightful, and highly recommended!

Great place to walk, run, hangout, shop, dine, etc. Love the way Atlanta converted the old train tract line into this park.

I walked 3 out of the 22 miles of the Atlanta Beltline today. There are some really nice murals that I enjoyed, especially this butterfly 🦋

A fun place to go if you're looking for something to do There are always things popping up and changing on the Beltline, and it's great to be able to walk from Piedmont Park to Old Fourth Ward Park, and end at Ponce City Market while strolling past historical landmarks, new public facilities and restaurants, and revitalized buildings. On a warm day (and even on cold ones), it instantly brightens my outlook seeing people out and about; running, jogging, walking, biking, rollerblading, skating. The art installations are fun to look at and admire also. The best part is the rentable scooters - they are so much fun!

Great place to take an evening stroll, regenerated train line featuring lots of cool independent eateries and bars and also Ponce City market and Krog street market both with lots of little food stalls , bars and quirky shops inside…great artwork and just a generally nice vibe, lots of walkers, doggies and bike riders all just getting along together whilst burning those calories 😃

Great walking, biking or scooter trail. I enjoyed the walk and the views. You can walk from piedmont park to ponce city market. I recommend parking in ponce city market, it's cheaper.

Well, it's not ready for Prime Time as they say. Still a lot of construction on the east side near Piedmont Park. I did park near Northwoods where there was plenty of off-street parking, I did love the Urban Murals for as far as I got. I visited the trail in mid-August. Oh and I do just love mid-town Atlanta.

Conveniently right between Ponce City Market and Piedmont park, it’s a very pleasant place to walk, bike, skate, etc. The tunnels and walkway feature art and there are places to stop and grab a bite to eat at the end. We even noticed a couple dog stops, making it a great place to walk the pups.

I consider myself partly from ATL. I grew up here every summer as a young child through my teens and young adulthood since my father's family is from here. The Beltline is a great addition to the city. A nice way to foster collective community and movement. It is accessible to all and travels through various communities, which is nice. It provides a gateway for businesses, which is also really nice. Went there today with my nieces and it was nice to see walkers, runners, bikes, and other movers on scooters, etc. using the trail. I'll definitely check it out again in future visits!

Moved to Atlanta for a job opportunity and the Beltline has to be my favorite thing about the city so far. I'm there at least once a week, it's well maintained, and you have access to multiple food markets along the path. It's been a great way to explore the city.
