Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre is honestly one of the best malls in Cape Town, it has a great range of restaurants, activities and shops that is perfect for family, friends or work. Security at the mall is excellent and always on the lookout for anything suspicious. The mall is quite wheelchair accessible so it’s definitely a place the whole family can visit.

Anyone who visits Cape Town must have been there. Of course, there is a lot of shopping to be done, but there is also a lot more to do. There are numerous restaurants, viewpoints, photo spots and experiences to discover. There is also a lot to do for the children.

A large facility with a plethora of shops from clothing to housewares to electronics and grocery. Plenty of restaurants can be found around the shopping area. Security is plentiful. This is a great place to walk around alone or with a family.

Named after Prince Albert, the first Royal to visit South Africa, and his mother Queen Victoria, this exquisite mall is situated at the oldest working harbor in SA. The V&A Waterfront is the most visited site in SA and one of the most visited sites in Africa. The mall itself conveys an impression of statuesque dignity, as befitting a classical timeless beauty. With over 500 shops, you can be forgotten for losing your paycheck here hopping from shop to shop to luxury shop. Outside the mall, the Waterfront itself is an entertainment beehive with so much to offer to all persuasions- restaurants, live music, historical sites, art galleries, museums. I would run out of breath trying to describe half of the story- best come and experience this for yourself 😉👍

It it so huge! Definitely a must stop. I loved the fact that there is a designated area for sustainable clothing shops. Truly great if you hate fast-fashion.

This is always a good shopping experience. A full days outing. All the too brands under one roof. Food court is amazing. So many to choose from. Unfortunately it was to busy for my liking but that's a sign of a great place

I have loved V&A Wharf Shopping Centre from my very first visit there. It has that unique appearance and beauty which is synonymous with Cape Town, with tonnes of activities to do. The place is also convenient with many restaurants and shops, most of them selling wares to a predominantly tourist market. It's quite a place to be

As always it's great being at the waterfront, it's good to see people out and about since masks are no longer mandatory.

Best place to be with children. Very spacious though it can be full. Lots of kiddies park to play and kiddies activities like face painting for them and balloon man selling. Then the statue guy. Restaurants are good and smart. They must add more clothing shops like Ackermans, Jet among others.

My visit to Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town was an exceptional retail experience that exceeded my expectations. This shopping center effortlessly combines world-class shopping with stunning waterfront views and a vibrant atmosphere. First and foremost, the location itself is a standout feature. Nestled at the V&A Waterfront, Victoria Wharf offers visitors breathtaking vistas of the harbor and the iconic Table Mountain in the backdrop. It's the perfect fusion of retail therapy and scenic beauty. The shopping center's diverse range of stores truly caters to every shopper's desires. From upscale international brands to charming local boutiques and artisanal shops, the variety is impressive. Whether I was hunting for fashion items, jewelry, home decor, or unique souvenirs, I found everything I needed and more. Victoria Wharf also boasts an impressive culinary scene. Its numerous restaurants, cafes, and eateries serve up a delectable array of cuisines, allowing shoppers to refuel and recharge while taking in the waterfront views. The center's commitment to providing a holistic shopping experience extends to entertainment options. With movie theaters and live performances, there's always something exciting happening, adding to the vibrant ambiance. Furthermore, I appreciated the well-maintained facilities, helpful staff, and the general sense of safety that Victoria Wharf offered. It made my visit not only enjoyable but also comfortable. In conclusion, Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre stands out as a premier retail destination that seamlessly blends shopping, dining, and entertainment with stunning waterfront surroundings. Whether you're a local or a tourist, a visit to Victoria Wharf promises a memorable experience that showcases the best of Cape Town's culture, style, and beauty.

A variety of shops to spoil your shopping experience. Very busy with locals as well as tourist. Easily accessible via taxis, bus n private vehicles. Located at the heart of Cape Town and at the harbour. Very vibrant place with market, arts and crafts , restaurants n take out shops. Very scenic area.

One of the most beautiful shopping centers I've been. This is breath taken. The center is so big and filled with life. It's definitely a musy visit this one..

  • 5/5 Najuwah 1 year ago on Google
The V&A is always a vibe, always live entertainment happening. I just don't like the fact that they moved The Cape Wheel to the back of the mall. The view is more spectacular from there, but it's on the far end rather than central. I hate dirty public toilets, but the bathrooms are always clean and ready to use. They have enough security always walking around, too. Bring the kids along. There's a playpark for them, too. Dress warm in winter. it's very cold here.

We went to support the "drive in" outdoor cinema. Setup was good but the show was too early. The sun baked us out of the car. So we had to idle for over an hour for the aircon. Would go again if the show was after sunset.

A great place to sit and watch the boats, drink some coffee, or have take away food or restaurant meals. My favourite is eating a Shwarma at Anat's and visiting Exclusive Books. Take lots of money with because the many variety of shops will surely entice you to spoil yourself or your loved ones.
